​My girlfriend and I recently stayed at Secreta Tulum Hotel, and we had an absolutely incredible time! This hotel truly offers a luxury experience from start to finish. ​Accommodation and Service: The rooms are very well-equipped and comfortable. What truly stands out is the staff—they were extremely attentive at all times, making us feel welcome and well cared for throughout our stay. ​Dining: The food was a highlight! Both the lunch and dinner we had were delicious. The quality and taste were top-notch. The only minor point for improvement was the breakfast. While the food was good, it lacked variety; it was essentially the same offering every morning. ​Beach Club Experience: The beach club is excellent. The beach area was clean, and we felt very secure, thanks to the visible security. The beach club restaurant is also good, and the drinks offered are absolutely top-tier. ​Overall Experience: Outside of the small issue with breakfast variety, the entire experience was magnificent and we highly recommend Secreta Tulum for a luxurious and relaxing vacation.

We stayed here for a wedding, so we were with a large group and did not select this resort ourselves. The resort is nice, feels luxurious and has a great boho feel but the biggest miss for us was not being on the beach, yes you have the shuttle but it feels like a chore to go between resort and beach and take up time during your day. The beach club was really nice and had good food, it was a great way to experience the Tulum beach. The restaurants were pretty good, no reservations was nice, just show up and they take care of you. While the hotel was nice and new, it felt like we spent a lots of time in the lobby, there’s no swim up bars and you feel very confined to the inside of the resort with no views and the buildings blocking sunshine different times of the day. We barely used our swim out because it got absolutely no sun. I can see why some ppl don’t mind this type of resort especially if you don’t care for the beach, but being a beach lover I wouldn’t choose this type of resort again. That said you are in the heart of Tulum and they offer many excursions to go check out things in the area, so if you are looking for an all inclusive base to explore this area it is definitely a nice choice.

The design is breathtaking — every corner feels curated, with soft lighting, natural wood tones, and those signature Tulum details that make you slow down and breathe. The atmosphere is calm and romantic, perfect for couples or anyone who wants a peaceful reset. You can relax by one of the many pools, listen to the sound of nature, or enjoy a cocktail under the palm trees. The staff deserves a special mention — incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help. From check-in to dinner, you feel genuinely cared for. The rooms are spacious and modern, with a beautiful mix of organic textures and minimalist luxury. Many have private plunge pools or large balconies overlooking lush greenery. The food is a highlight — fresh seafood, creative cocktails, and several à la carte restaurants that easily rival the best in Tulum. One thing to note: the main resort is not directly on the beach. The hotel offers a private Beach Club, which is a short shuttle ride away — stylish, serene, and perfect for spending the day by the ocean. Overall, Secrets Tulum Resort & Beach Club is a perfect escape if you’re looking for elegance, tranquility, and that modern-boho aesthetic. It’s not the typical loud, all-inclusive resort — it’s more of a hidden gem for those who appreciate detail, design, and peace. Definitely coming back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The resort is one of the best all inclusives I've been to with my wife, in I'd say the last decade. The quality is there, service is really great actually, which is a breath of fresh air. Rooms were decent quality, except for one hiccup (I'll mention). The beach club was decent (with a few exceptions). My wife and I got the Junior King Suite (No Swimout), and stayed for 5 days and 5 nights. Layout was a bit confusing at the beginning but became easier afterwards. Restaurants: Positives: Always great service, slow only at the Bluewater Grill which was their most popular. I'll start there. Great food and drinks. Negative is it's outdoors! I got too many mosquito bites and recommend you to wear long clothes, but the tulum vibes of the restaurant was authentic, maybe a little too authentic in that regard. By the way, those bites put a damper on the rest of my trip and we never went back. It does operate in the Market restaurant on rainy evenings, but we missed it the one night. Porto Fino is Italian, very good food and service. Jasmine was out second favorite, they had Asian and we went there twice. And lastly Olio was Mediterranean, and it was decent. Everything we ate at this resort including room service was absolutely delicious and great quality. We never really tried Barracuda and Half Time, the two snack places. Coco Cafe which is located near the lobby had decent lattes, iced coffees and snacks which kept us going one day when lunch was closed and dinner which starts at 6pm every night for all restaurants wasn't open. Market main restaurant was the best but only does breakfast and lunch buffet. Hot food was always closed with a lid. Sometimes repetitive, but more than enough options to move onto the next item. Rooms: Positives: Very great quality overall, TV has Google Cast (so you can stream Netflix, Disney+, etc.), Room service can be ordered through the Hyatt Inclusive App (Download it for a map, and menus, etc. Negatives: For us it was just the shower, it wasn't getting hot enough for the first night and half of next day, untill a guy came to "fix" it, but all he ended up doing was opening the faucets on the 2 vanities to hot and fully on, then when you run the shower at hot and fully on, the water is hot. It's called purging the pipes, and I will remember this tip next time I got to any hotel if there's no hot water. Beach Club: Positives: I enjoyed the adventure ride boarding the shuttle everyday to go and come from the Beach Club. The Beach itself was clean, and there were at least chairs available. Food was amazing, but drinks, not so much. Beach was swimmable the days we went, waves were low to moderate. Negatives: They ran out of straws for drinks alot, so if you got one, I'd say keep it for the day, if youre someone that doesn't like drinking from the glass. There's 2 bars, one attached to the restaurant which I realized is better, because one day the guy near the beach one ran out of beer. Another negative I'd say is theres not much shade. 1 palm tree was the only shade. Again maybe the preferred, which had their own side was better, but no big deal. Lastly, it became a bit annoying to want to go to the beach a bit easier accessibly if it were attached to the hotel, but it became a mission, and we tried staying at the pool on the second last day. Pools: Positives: Lots of chairs, and shade, 3 on the ground, a double rooftop pool. Towels easily accessible. Negatives: Not very clean, drinks at the 2 bars by the pools were not as good quality as at the lobby bar named Rendezvous. I wanted to drink good quality Tequila like Don Julio (which was only at lobby bar), and canned beers which surprisingly they had at all the bars. Certain mixed drinks were denied because they didn't have the right ingredients, but again, lobby bar did. I'd say my last negative was that there was always not enough people, so it felt lonely at times lol Activities were good. Tried Canvas painting one day, you get to keep it and it's like a momento. Bike tour fun! Overall we had a great time and would go back.

We love this place soooooo much! This is our 2nd time back in the past month. Arturo with activities, Rodolfo the bartender and Javier guest services are the best!! They make the stay even better anything we needed they made it happen. I love the staff overall, love my swim our suite love the pools and love how big the resort is. A very chill vibe each time we’ve came. 10/10
