We had an amazing stay at Maroma Beach! The resort is conveniently located just a short drive from Cancun International Airport, making travel easy and stress-free. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and offered beautiful views of the pools, grounds, and ocean. We highly recommend upgrading to the Preferred Club—it was well worth it for the added amenities and outstanding service. What truly made this vacation special was the incredible staff. Josue at the Cocoa Café made every morning better with excellent coffee and a warm smile. Hector and the entertainment team kept everyone engaged throughout the day, and the nightly shows were fantastic—don't miss the Asado Fire Show! The dining options were excellent, and Freddie at the World Café always made us feel welcome. Our couples massage with Selene and Alexandra was one of the highlights of our trip, and Lucia made the hydrotherapy experience relaxing and enjoyable. A heartfelt thank you to Patricia from housekeeping, Roger our Preferred Club concierge, Marrissio for keeping our room stocked, Antonio C. for outstanding beach service, and Zayda, whose kindness and professionalism truly exemplify world-class hospitality. There was some seasonal seaweed during our visit, but the resort worked continuously throughout the day to keep the beach clean, and we appreciated their efforts. Overall, this was an exceptional vacation. The beautiful property is impressive, but it's the people who truly make Maroma Beach a destination worth returning to. We can't wait to visit again!

We are presently staying at this beautiful resort. Arrival was seamless and we were escorted to check in within a few mins. We booked a preferred club room ocean front. We have not encountered anyone that does not greet you upon meeting them to include construction personnel. The staff is warm and gracious and to name people individually would be a disservice to the rest of the staff. They have all been top notch! The food has been amazing as well as the service. I am very picky about cleanliness of food areas and servers… no complaints for sure. Gel is provided at every restaurant and a port handwashing station is provided at pool buffet. Lunch by the pool is offered daily. The fresh tuna off the boat carved in front of the audience is the best I have ever had and the fish market on Sat offers a wide range of seafood and wonderful paella. Room accommodations are comfortable and in good repair. They could use a refresh however. Previous posts indicated that it was very difficult to get chairs by the pool. We have not found this to be an issue, but you do need to come down early to get a spot. We have been to two evening entertainment offerings..a fire show and Queen of Hearts… both were excellent. Tonight the evening entertainment is a Mexican Fiesta after dinner poolside. I wish that there was a way to rate this facility higher than a four and if so I would rate it at 4.8. The only dissatisfaction that I note is that it is difficult to get an area anywhere near the pool with complete shade. In addition, the cloth lounge furniture around the pool is pretty dirty and needs to be cleaned. There is presently construction which is somewhat annoying with the jackhammer so one needs to chose to sit wisely. The sargassum has been really bad and they are constantly removing it but absolutely not their fault.?We will definitely book here again.

Second time staying at this resort and absolutely love it. Service is impeccable, you will want for nothing. The staff is absolutely lovely and very friendly. Food is amazing across all restaurants and breakfast/lunch buffet. Pool area is always lively and the beach is very nice. This is definitely a more relaxed and intimate resort. It has a fair amount of activities and night life but all is shut down at 1am. If you’re going to be celebrating a special occasion note it in your reservation and tell your concierge! They will go out of their way to add little details to make your stay even more memorable. Huge shoutout to our concierge Angel (building 23), wait staff (Alberto, Hugo, Bernardo, and many others who tended to us daily), and the awesome entertainment team (Alejandra, Monica, and others). Hope to be back soon!

Having stayed at many all-inclusive resorts—both family-friendly and adults-only—I can confidently say that Secrets Maroma stands above the rest. The variety and quality of the food were exceptional, with every meal exceeding my expectations. The grounds and my room were impeccably maintained, making the entire resort feel luxurious and welcoming. What truly made this stay unforgettable was the incredible staff. Every person I encountered went above and beyond to provide genuine hospitality and make me feel valued. Their kindness and attention to detail transformed a great vacation into an extraordinary one. Exceptional Service Culture at a Beautiful Resort My wife and I spent a wonderful week at Secrets Maroma Beach end of May 2026 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. What stood out most was the exceptional friendliness of the entire staff. From the concierge team to beach service, housekeeping, restaurant staff, and everyone else we encountered, we were consistently greeted with smiles, professionalism, and genuine customer care. While a few individuals deserve special recognition, the truth is that the exceptional service culture extended throughout the entire resort. The resort itself is beautiful, with well-maintained grounds, a stunning beach, and a relaxed atmosphere. Our focus was less on pool bar activities and more on enjoying the beach, the resort, and the dining experience. The quality of the food in the à la carte restaurants, particularly the Italian and French restaurants, exceeded our expectations. What impressed us most was the consistency of the service culture. As world travelers who have stayed at many resorts across North America, Europe, Africa, and other parts of the world, we can honestly say that this level of friendliness and genuine customer care is something special and increasingly rare. In our view, this should actually be the standard for a premium resort. Unfortunately, many hotels have either forgotten this principle or have started treating exceptional service as something guests must pay extra for. Secrets Maroma delivered exactly what we expect from an outstanding resort: professional service, genuine friendliness, attention to detail, and a sincere commitment to making guests feel welcome. There were only two minor downsides. The pool area was not ideal for swimming, at least from our perspective. The pools are relatively shallow, and most guests seemed to prefer relaxing, socializing, and enjoying drinks in the water rather than using the pools for swimming. Perhaps an opportunity for improvement would be to offer distinct pool areas—one focused on relaxation and socializing, and another designed for guests who enjoy more active swimming. Maybe this is simply a European preference, but as enthusiastic swimmers, we would certainly appreciate such an option. Secondly, there was an above-average amount of seaweed during our stay. This is obviously not a hotel issue but rather a broader environmental challenge affecting much of the Caribbean coastline. Overall, Secrets Maroma Beach ranks among the very best resort experiences we have had. Muchas gracias to the entire team. We will be back. — K & C, 🇨🇦🇩🇪
