We had a wonderful experience. The new Asana Indian cuisine was hands down the best meal ever had at Playacar! The flavours were amazing! The food, experience, and service at IL Piemonte was our absolute favourite. The Italian food was so delicious all the courses were sooo good! We even had a table side song with an incredibly talented man. The only short fall was that you needed to scan a QR code for a menu and we had only brought one phone for 4 of us to use. Would love a printed menu but otherwise an exceptional experience!

Ate dinner at the Mexican restaurant tonight and it didn’t disappoint! In fact, best meal we had since being here for four days. Everything was fresh and flavorful with the steak, just the normal one, being a total treat! I loved the tres leches for dessert and the coffee here is always, always good. All in all, this dining experience renewed my faith in Sandos. Oh, Edgar was our waiter and he is such a darn good waiter! Thank you Edgar! Break break The rooms? Well, that’s a different review because their rooms on the beach need some serious upgrading.

Just had dinner at Asana, which is a new restaurant that Sandos opened of Indian cuisine about 2 months ago. To say that the food was delicious is an understatement. My family and I are really big fans of Indian cuisine, so we were very excited to hear about Asana and our expectations were exceeded. The food was served fresh and hot and we even got to speak with the head chef! They had a very large variety of food on the menu, even a variety of vegetarian options as well. Our server, Victor, was incredible. He checked in on us multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed and had such an amazing personality. The restaurants at Sandos do require a reservation, so I highly suggest you try to book this one!!

Karen and Mariano Bisente from the Gourmet royal elite breakfast staff were incredible. 5 stars for their service every day we had breakfast. They were very personable and responded to all our requests. The service was fast and perfect! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience. I put 3 stars for the rooms because our room hacienda 6407 was missing one towel hanger, the sinks both leaked around them and the hair dryer was not working. Otherwise beautiful facilities. We loved our time here.

The pool party was great. Laura and July, Roma, and Mau were fantastic. They were so interactive with the guest and did an amazing job. 5 stars for sure. Supper at the Asana restaurant was off the chain. Luis was a great waiter and Karla the manager was so nice and friendly. She went out of her way to make us feel right at home.
