Although there were delays during check in. Overall we are pleased with the effort of the services from the staffs here. They do try their best to accommodate and provide comfort to guests. Room dining is absolutely satisfactory. Welcome by refreshing towels and welcoming drinks at the lobby. There are two pools. You can buggy around the hotel with a driver service. Ordered beef burger. It’s quiet and peaceful. The hotel itself with the pool overlooking the sea is memorable. What a great family getaway.

This is a really nice family-friendly hotel and a great option for a relaxing vacation with kids. The farm area where children can interact with animals is wonderful, there’s a fun playroom, and the pool has a dedicated kids’ zone that families will definitely appreciate. The breakfast was decent, although I personally wouldn’t rate it as a strong five-star breakfast. Still, overall the food experience was quite good. The beachfront dinners were especially enjoyable, and the live music every evening created such a lovely atmosphere. The villas are cozy and comfortable. They’re not brand new and could use some refreshing in places, but they are generally well maintained and pleasant to stay in. Another big plus is the location — there are shops, massage salons, and a fantastic rice farming museum nearby, which is absolutely a must-visit. Overall, I wouldn’t call this a “dream hotel,” but at the same time there are no major downsides either. For a family vacation, I would confidently recommend it. The price-to-quality ratio is definitely fair.

Bad: - Resort feels like a 5 star but service is a 3 star - Took very long to process check-in - Provides the option of half board (to choose either lunch or dinner). We are staying only for a night. When we asked if we can opt for lunch tomorrow after checkout at 12pm, they said no, we can only choose dinner. Check-in is from 3pm, so why give us the option to choose lunch or dinner if we can’t opt to do lunch the next day? Who’s gonna have lunch after 3pm on check-in day? - Asked for late check-out but staff simply said it’s full so we have to check out at the normal timing at 12pm. This is unusual for a resort of this scale as they would usually at least offer late check-out at 12.30pm. - Breakfast at Spice Market Restaurant is a 5/10. 80% of the Asian food are Indian food. Limited options for Chinese and Malay food. Western selection for breakfast is ok. Food taste wise is so-so. Good: - Pelangi Grill does very good seafood dishes - Nice room and view - Nice and big pool - Spacious bathroom for the lake view room Conclusion: I would have chosen to return if not for the poor service. Management should look at improving the service provided by staff to match other 5-star resorts.

Had a superb experience at Pelangi Beach Resort and Spa, Langkawi. From reception and welcome to checkout, everything was smooth and hassle-free. The room was elegant, very comfortable, and the washroom was huge and beautifully designed. The terrace offered amazing views, and the staff and room service were extremely friendly and helpful. Pools were spotless and well maintained, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The entire property — from rooms to gardens, pools, and beach areas — was beautifully maintained. I originally planned a couple of nights but ended up extending my stay to enjoy the hotel itself. It was easily the highlight of my two-week trip across three countries.

This is a top quality hotel, wonderful pools close to sea and beach. Breakfast was a delight by the sea with a wide choice. Yoga class was excellent experience. Rooms have character and are well serviced. Access to the beach and local services is simple and everything is close at hand. Only 20mins from the Eagles. Nest by grab.
