We recently stayed at Panan Krabi Resort and found it to be a very good hotel overall. A huge plus is how peaceful and quiet our room was, especially considering the hotel is just minutes away from the main, busy street—that made a big difference for us! The pool is large and excellent too. Regarding the room itself, the cleanliness, in our opinion, could be improved. We noticed some wear and tear, particularly with the wood paneling, which wasn't maintained at its best level. This is probably just due to the hotel’s high demand, but a little more attention to maintenance and cleanliness here would really elevate the stay experience. The breakfast was generally fine and up to standard, but I found it lacked of variety. I was hoping for more localized Thai dishes or even just a wider selection of meat choices. It felt like the menu was heavily targeting Western guests, who seemed quite happy with the offerings, but I'd love to see more regional flavor! Overall, a solid choice, especially for the quiet location and great pool, but with a little more focus on deep cleaning and room maintenance, this place would be fantastic.

I had an amazing stay at Phanan Krabi Resort! The staff were very kind and always ready to help with anything. The room condition was great, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. I really enjoyed spending time at the resort pool — especially the infinity pool, which was beautiful and relaxing. Breakfast was delicious, and the location is excellent, just near Krabi Beach, so it’s very easy to get around. I also joined one of the activities organized by the resort, and it was so much fun! Overall, it was a very satisfying and memorable stay. I’d definitely love to come back again!

This hotel is a great find-a haven of peace in a busy bustling town. It’s very clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, it’s very attractively designed and the pool is lovely. Our room is spacious, clean and comfortable and the food is very good. We attended the Loy Krathong ceremony and meal last evening which was interesting and the buffet was lavish. So much food and deliciously prepared. Prices here are very reasonable. We highly recommend

Pros - Initial room provided had a very strong damp smell coming through the A/C. We talked to reception and they immediately offered us a new (upgraded) room which was considerably better. - Staff were friendly and helpful - The pool area is large with lots of different areas and the swim up bar was nice - The view from our upgraded room was fantastic - Location was great if you want to be in the centre of everything - Balcony area was nice - Bed was nice and large Cons - Initial room smelt bad - Rooms were not deep cleaned - we ended up wiping down light switches and door handles that had clear imbedded dirt around them - Bedding was clean but stained as were some of the towels - Layout was appalling bad and inefficient and the room was very tired. Chipped faux wood panelling which was discoloured, old dirty siliconing etc. - Room servicing (cleaning) was nearly non existent and came at poor times (5pm) - Breakfast was bad, everything was in bulk & lacked finesse i.e just bulks jars of yoghurt, whole loaves of unsliced bread handled by previous guests, dry pastries etc. Only went on one day as it was quite unappealing. - Its quite loud at night because of the location - Pool could do with a deep clean (had a scummy water line) - We paid online through the website which listed “perks” like a welcome refreshment which was never offered. The general vibe wasn’t the level of luxurious you would expect given the price. Not only was the room dated but everything was very transactional and had a cheap feel. For example the “operating items list” displayed on a plaque in the room felt like a warning to be careful with the cheap wares they had spread around (like the hand soap dispenser). Pool towels had to be “signed in/out”. Cleanliness didn’t seem of top priority in any of the spaces. We ended up leaving two days early because we didn’t love the hotel or the area. We did ask if there were any partial refund options but our booking was non refundable so as expected there wasn’t (which is fine). Overall wouldn’t opt to stay here again. We think if the price was better we may have felt better about the state of the place but overall it felt overpriced for a cheap experience.

Im so glad I chose the Hotel Panan Krabi. Beautiful resort with friendly staff that cannot do enough for you. The room was absolutely perfect and amazing view onto the pool area with lovely balcony. The hotel is very well positioned where you can access everything within a few minutes walk. My only regret is not staying for longer. Will definitely be returning here on a future trip to Krabi
