We were impressed from the moment we got off the car and walked in, as the grand open-air entrance gave us a wonderful first impression and set the tone for what turned out to be a really relaxing stay. A special thank you to Nancy at reception, who welcomed us so warmly and made check-in feel effortless. We were also pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a sea view room, and the view truly was one of the best we've experienced at any beach resort so far. Waking up to that view every morning was definitely one of the highlights of our trip, and the room itself was spacious and well-equipped, so we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We'd also like to recognise Nancy's colleagues at the front desk. One moment we'll always remember was when they stepped out from behind the reception counter to bid us farewell as we were leaving. It was such a simple gesture, but one that made us feel genuinely valued and left a lasting impression. We'd also like to recognise Pew and Poppap at the poolside bar, who were not only friendly and hospitable but genuinely impressed us with their professionalism. During our stay, we saw them handle a few difficult guests with a lot of patience and composure, and despite how tough that must have been, they stayed courteous throughout and never let it affect the service they gave to other guests. It's not an easy job, and we really hope management recognises the great work they do. Another lovely mention goes to Lexi, who looked after us during breakfast. Her warm smile and cheerful, friendly nature made every morning feel that much more welcoming. It's these small touches that really make a stay memorable. Thank you to the whole team for making our first stay such a special one.

If I could give this hotel more than 5 stars, I would. Having stayed in thousands of hotels over the past 25 years, I can honestly say this is one of the best I’ve ever experienced. Ning welcomed us so warmly and escorted us to our room, immediately making us feel at home. Sadly, we only saw her on the day we arrived, but she left a lasting impression. I can only assume she was also behind the wonderful surprise for my son’s 11th birthday after I casually mentioned it at check-in. The beautiful birthday cake was such a thoughtful gesture that we’ll always remember. Everything was exceptional. Thank you to Ning and the entire team for making our stay so memorable. We can’t wait to return.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Mercure is definitely one of the better hotels in the area. The beach is beautiful and the sea is very enjoyable. The rooms are comfortable, and the breakfast offers a good selection and is generally very satisfying. The staff throughout the hotel were attentive and professional. In particular, the reception team were very helpful, friendly, and always willing to assist with any questions or requests. One detail that could be improved is the beach towel system. Towels are collected and returned from the restaurant area, which is not very convenient. While guests are eating, people may enter the restaurant wet and dripping water to collect or return their towels. It would be much better to have a separate towel station closer to the beach or pool. There is also a 7-Eleven just a short walk from the hotel, which is very convenient. Overall, it is a well-managed and comfortable hotel with a great beach, good breakfast, and excellent staff.

I strongly recommend Mercure Koh Samui. The hotel is lovely, right on the beach and in a great position. We stayed in the Beachfront Villa which was massive, beautifully finished, had a private pool and beachside access. But what sets this hotel apart from others, is the staff, particularly the reception. They were absolutely lovely, friendly, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. I mentioned in passing that it was my wife's birthday and they decorated the room beautifully and left us a gift. Every other member of staff was also lovely. In short, whilst there are a lot of hotels to choose from in Koh Samui, I strongly recommend the Mercure. Thank you for making our holiday special.

Front Desk Team was always pleasant, attentive and all smiles at all times of the day : Sira, Frame, Ning, Nancy, Darius at the names I remember from the team of 10 Sira gave a lovely welcome and organised for me early checkout and late checkout as Accor Platinum. She was well trained with assisting me to use points for redemption for F&B spend, good command of English to recommend shops nearby. Breakfast 630am-1030am was a good range of cold and hot dishes ( hot dishes changed daily ). Fruits include dragonfruit, mango and guava.. as a resort it was not crowded in May ( low season ) Smart TV had native apps for Amazon prime and Netflix. Robes provided in room and bedroom slippers. I booked a pool access room, and important to keep door closed from late afternoon to prevent too many mosquitoes from entering the room. the smoke detector in room green flashes was interrupting sleep, and room service kind arranged for maintenance to black tape over the flashes for the duration of stay. The pool area is well designed and perfect for pool cocktails and lounging on chairs with direct beach access. Happy Hour 1-2pm at pool bar, 4-5pm at beach bar and 6-7pm at rooftop bar. Gym on 1F, massage by the beach possible from external non-hotel provider.. no spa on site. During rain, can borrow umbrella by signing out one at the front desk. Hotel well located 15-20mins grab ride from airport. Note that airport does not allow grab pickup, have to walk out of airport perimeter to a shop for “pick up” Samui Central is 10mins away by grab bike 40THB , grab car 300 THB or local “shared taxi” songtaew flag down when u see them to negotiate on the spot 70-100THB Daily room service with evening turndown service. Room service and hotel restaurant available till late Laundry services available at many shops just outside the hotel around 50-70 THB/kg, although not listed on Google need to just walk in and ask Self service coin laundry also available 3 shops down from the hotel entrance. At night it was not noisy, peaceful stay. I will be back someday.
