We had an amazing stay at Margaritaville all-inclusive resort! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, the food was absolutely delicious, and the resort itself is a perfect, manageable size — easy to get around and never felt too crowded. A special mention to the kids club, run by Miss Tania and Miss Landy, who made the experience extra special for our family. They organized so many fun activities like arts and crafts, painting, and face/arm painting that our son absolutely loved. Their energy and creativity really boosted our overall experience. Highly recommend this resort for families looking for a fun, relaxing, and welcoming getaway!

Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Cancún – September 2025 What was great: * Quiet and relaxing resort, perfect for a peaceful getaway. * Well-maintained property. * Fantastic staff: special thanks to Herberito and Ruben (waiters), Angela (smoothie bar), Gregorio and Elbert (5 O’Clock Bar), and Miros (entertainment team). They really made our stay memorable! * Beach Bar Rita: excellent food and a great selection of tequilas. Don’t miss the “El Gordo Burger” with a shot of Don Julio! A true highlight of the resort. * Pools, although small, were clean and enjoyable. What could be better: * Food in general was average and not as good as when it was Karisma Azul, apart from Beach Bar Rita. * The beach was affected by sargassum, so swimming in the sea wasn’t ideal—though this is a natural occurrence and not the hotel’s fault. * Breakfast buffet was very limited during the first week, which we found quite shocking—something we’ve never seen at an all-inclusive resort. You could still order à la carte options, but it would have been nice to have more buffet choices. Overall: We would recommend Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Cancún for a relaxing holiday. It’s a lovely resort if you’re looking for peace, good service, and a friendly atmosphere. * Tips: Uber is available and much cheaper than resort taxis.

So this was the first time me and my husband travelled to Mexico. We booked Margarittaville for 5 nights. It was my husbands birthday so I emailed the email id given on their website and also spoke to a representative named alexander on a whatsapp number that's stated on their website to request a surprise ( decoration in the room and a small cake) for my husband from side. Alexander confirmed that the message has been forwarded to the concierge. When we reached no one had any information and the staff didn't even wish my husband a happy birthday when I confirmed with them. The front desk kept on saying I will have to pay which made me think they're only concerned about the money. I don't them not to do anything in the end, so we ended up having no birthday celebration. Pros : the local service at the bars, the cleaning people and the people who help around with the luggage are very helpful and wonderful. The place has activities everyday and the restaurants inside the resort are amazing. Specially the ones which need reservation. You will never get bored. Cons : We paid for the cenote excursion and the bali boat which is too expensive. We had another group from another hotel come to the same execution with us but paid 35 dollars less. The front desk is not so helpful, they get so confused with your questions. You will feel a bias when it comes to you versus the people who are elite members, because the behavior of some of the staff members changes when they know you're not an elite member. Overall I would give this place an average rating because it the most important thing for me is customer service.

This is our third visit (we are members). We love to come to just relax since the beach is so accessible (it is inside of the property). Alberto is an amazing butler. I truly think he should be sent to other butlers to train them. Additionally, Antonio always made our breakfast dining experience fun. Special mention as well to Reina and Gladis in the spa. The spa is one of our places we enjoy going when on vacation and the people that work there are great.

This was our second stay at this resort and it will not be our last! Everything was so beautiful and peaceful, and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We did crafts with Landi almost every day which was so lovely! Ernesto at the bar and Luis, Edwin, and Antonio at the restaurant were so friendly and so kind about our terrible Spanish skills, and Colin lead a great excercise class. It was truly sad to leave at the end of the week, and we can't wait to be back!
