This resort looks great in photos, but when you get there you can clearly see that there is a lack of effort put into it. First thing, the rooms. The room i stayed in was the family room and to put nicely the room clearly needs a little attention. It lacks basic necessities like a shower curtain in the downstairs bathroom, which means when you shower water sprays onto the floor and creates such a big puddle to the point where if you tried to mop it up with the bath mat, the mat would become dripping wet and unusable for anyone having a shower after you. The room also lacks natural light, with the only source being one (quite small) window. Another problem is when someone is walking on the upper floor the wooden planks creak so loudly that we could hear people from the rooms next to us walking. Next, the facilities. Breakfast average, confusing and repetitive, the food almost never changed and if it did i wouldn’t no because they didn’t really label anything, so if you have allergies you wouldn’t even no what was in things, i can not count the amount of surprises i had when biting into things. The pool, the adults one closed at 6pm and the main one closed at 7pm and they are pretty much the only entertainment (that is free) in the whole resort, so you have nothing to do after those hours unless you leave the resort. The deck chairs were a whole other problem, i went during wet season (January), so you would think they would have a place to put the cushions during the night and early morning when it rains, but no every time i got to them they were wet, and not just a little the whole under side was drenched. The Bars, if you don’t drink alcohol reconsideration your accommodation, they have limited nonalcoholic beverages on the pool bar menus and in the ocean view patio bar i think there was maximum 5 extra nonalcoholic drinks. Overall, this resort clearly needs a little TLC. Don’t come here, if you want to stay at a resort in this area try Pullman or Padma, i have been to both and they are luxury compared to this. This was our first time staying at the Legian Beach Hotel, it has exceeded our expectations in every way. Fantastic caring staff who are always willing to help and go above an beyond, through to the beautiful ground's of the hotel and the perfect location in legian. From breakfast through to dinner the food is amazing with incredible choices. The Legian Beach hotel is truly a wonderful destination,in a beautiful Country. We will most definitely be coming back to stay at the Legian Beach Hotel. Resorts that offer this level quality and exceptional service are rare nowadays. Thankyou to all the staff that have made this memorable holiday.

Overall, I found the experience to be fairly average—nothing really delivered a “wow” factor. The hotel itself is looking tired and would definitely benefit from a makeover. The staff, especially at reception, were okay but could have been more accommodating. Breakfast was underwhelming, with very few hot dishes and mostly small items to fill the basics. The standout was the bread and butter pudding, which was excellent. The pool area was clean, though the sun loungers had clearly seen better days. The pool water was extremely warm (I’d guess over 30°C), and there was green algae on the steps. I would strongly advise against putting your head under the water. Housekeeping was very good and genuinely helpful. However, an irritating daily visit at 9:00 am from a man wanting to check the mini-bar felt intrusive and unnecessary. Our room was also very noisy and close to the road, which made for uncomfortable, broken sleep. Would I stay here again? No. There were simply too many issues that stopped me from feeling relaxed—something a holiday should always provide.

We had the absolutely best time ever. Our deluxe pool villa was beautiful. We ate every restaurant , drank at every bar and also attended a theme night and all were fantastic. The breakfast buffet was next level. The location and views are awesome. If it was possible for 10 stars, then that Is what I would have given service. The staff were amazing, every single one of them. Everybody greeted us so beautifully, they are so gracious and accommodating. We will definitely come back here when we come to Bali again.

Room was comfortable and cleaned regularly and typically done while we were at breakfast. Construction was happening most days in the building adjacent to our room. This was sometimes a bit noisy and disruptive. The buffet breakfast was quite good. We would suggest too much American style food e.g. donuts, pancakes, waffles, sticky rolls. Cappuccinos, lattes, espresso etc was additional cost - around $AU 6. We needed to ask serving staff every day for the coffee & tea that was complimentary .
