Our trip was everything we needed from we arrived. The grounds are clean, we loved the food, room and the staff. Everyone we met were friendly and nice. Special shout out to our concierge Kenisha who checked on us daily, provided excellent service and always greeting us with a warm smile. Our butler Rohan was also amazing, Lloyd from the pool bar,Ann-Marie from housekeeping and everyone else. Will definitely return.

This trip was for our 25th anniversary, so we decided to splurge a little. We had an ocean view suite with butler service. I can’t say enough about the service! Our butler’s (Berris, Christopher, Omar & Devon) were absolutely the best!!! We never had to figure anything out. They were always there to assist us in anyway. They were so professional, friendly, knowledgeable and so much more! On our anniversary Omar (our afternoon butler) escorted us to our private dinner on the beach. He decorated our table, took some amazing pictures of us and decorated our room!!! Because of their service and the rest of the staff we will be back next year and hopefully can book the same room location with the same butler’s 💕. I highly recommend Montego Bay Jamaica JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar. I want to say the professional greetings and service from our concierge’s Suttonie, Crystal & Tanya when we arrived was exceptional. These ladies if you ever visit this hotel they will make you stay even more enjoyable. Until we meet again ONE LOVE!!

Not Worth the Price – Disappointing Final Nights of My Trip I was on a two-week trip in Jamaica and chose JOIA by Iberostar for the final three nights, expecting a luxury, relaxing resort experience. Unfortunately, my stay was deeply disappointing. On my first night, I noticed the room did not feel clean (visible scum/corrosion in the bathtub jets and overall lack of freshness). There was a smell that they were obviously trying to cover up. I didn’t even feel comfortable getting under the covers to sleep. There was also a roach in the room. I was exhausted from traveling and didn’t report it that night, which I now regret. The next morning, when I went to enjoy the balcony view, there was a condom wrapper outside. That was the final straw. I was moved to another room, but the experience had already been impacted. That room Was clean deeper, but there was still scum in the jet tub. Management’s only offer was a single massage, no adjustment for the disrupted first night. I clearly explained what would have resolved it for me, but nothing further was offered. For the price point, there are far better boutique hotels and Airbnbs in Jamaica that offer more value, better cleanliness, and more attentive service. I drove across the island specifically to stay here, and in hindsight, I would not have made that choice. I understand renovations may be planned, but until there are significant improvements in upkeep and service standards, I would not return. Donovan was an absolute pleasure and truly a vibe—consistently checking on us at the beach and ensuring we were well taken care of. His energy and hospitality enhanced our entire experience. Her level of service, warmth, and dedication is unmatched. Each of the individuals mentioned played a vital role in making my stay unforgettable. They are invaluable assets to your team. I would greatly appreciate being accommodated with these same team members on my next visit. Thank you once again for delivering such a memorable experience. I look forward to returning soon.

Donavan took such good care of us at the beach. Pleasant attitude and made us truly feel welcomed! Alain and Andre were our butler's and we would swear they have clones. They found us all over the property with drinks food, trip advice. It was a true joy to be able to relax and let them take care of us. I do not think anyone could do it better! Because of the service vibes and over relaxing atmosphere we already plan to return in January! One small note I wish the old plates and drinks in the hallway were cleaned faster.
