Alan from entertainment has been absoutely phenomenal. Last year we came and had a fabulous time so we decided to come back to this resort but bring my daughter. She is a shy individual but she met Alan and she has come out of her shell and done so many activities. Alan has been encouraging her to try different activities day and evening and the pure smile of her coming out of her comfort level has been such a highlight of our vacation. His positive energy has been an asset to the resort amongst other highlights of our vacation.

My family and I had a fantastic stay at the Iberostar Tucan Resort in Playa del Carmen. This resort is a true gem, perfectly balancing a natural, peaceful environment with all the comforts a family could need.The traditional design of the resort is beautiful and extends throughout the entire area, creating a wonderful atmosphere. You can spot peacocks, monkeys and other wildlife, which we absolutely loved. It genuinely provided a sense of peace. The rooms were nice, clean. The beach and pools were outstanding—always clean and well-maintained, perfect for relaxing or playing in the sun.The restaurants offered a great variety of food and fresh fruit options. The only minor area for improvement we noted was the Christmas Eve and Day performance and lack of excitement we anticipated for such a special day. Overall, the Iberostar Tucan is a beautiful and relaxing retreat that we would highly recommend to any family looking for a unique, nature-filled escape with great amenities.

The resort is very environmentally friendly. There is amazing wildlife roaming the grounds like peacocks, coatis, iguanas and agoutis. They also have flamingo, turtles and monkeys. The fitness classes are world-class with Sergio and Omar. Julio remember us and had a table ready with our beverages. My only negative is the rooms. They are very dated with stucco and no drawers to put your clothes way. The housekeeping is top notch we would go the gym for a class and return to a clean room! Overall great experience!!!

I stayed with my family for two weeks at this hotel and it was a very good experience. I enjoyed every activity I did during this period. The staff were always friendly, helpful, and professional. The food was very good with a lot of variety, and the restaurants were well organized. The rooms were comfortable and well maintained, and the location is perfect, close to the beach and the city. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. We would love to come back! Thank you Jan for your attention.

Loved the resort. Beautiful nature and beautiful beach. Rooms were tired, but they are renovating them soon. Negatives.. They offered a beautiful show, but you had to pay for it. Should've been included. No drink services by the pool or beach. Have to get your own.
