We had a truly wonderful stay at the Paraiso Maya resort. The grounds of this entire property are absolutely gorgeous! You can enjoy walking around and taking in the beatiful landscape or there are plenty of shuttles that come around to take you where you need to go. The entertainment staff does an amazing job of making everything so much fun and we thoroughly enjoyed the nightly entertainment. With this being an all inclusive, everything we needed was right at this resort and we didn't have to leave once we arrived. The staff is very attentive to your needs. Everyone from the wait staff at the restaurants, housekeeping and the concierge went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. A special thank you to Betsy at the concierge desk for working with us to ensure our every need was met. We will definitely be going back to this lovely resort!

Our family of five (3 tweens/teens) had the best week at this resort. The resort is well maintained and clean. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from with delicious food options. The resort is huge with countless things to keep you and your kiddos busy for the week, but our favorite was just lounging at the beach. We were very impressed with the staff and the service! We will definitely come back.

Just back from Iberostar Joia Paradise and overall we had a great group vacation. Monsey from pool entertainment was hands down the MVP of the trip. Her energy, enthusiasm, and engagement made every day better. She sets the tone for the pool and makes it such a fun place to be. A huge thank you to Elsa, the F&B Manager, for helping us with dinner reservations two nights in a row. Without her help, we would have struggled. She was responsive and genuinely cared about resolving the issue. Constructive feedback: please improve the restaurant reservation system and responsiveness to guest needs. It felt harder than it should be to enjoy dinner experiences at a resort of this caliber. Overall, beautiful property, great atmosphere — just tighten up the operations around dining.

Amazing vacation destination with the family. Cant recommend it enough. Staff was accommodating and friendly..house keeping was impeccable..they come by every day sometimes twice a day..it was my daughters 1st birthday and they even gave her a star toy..for my birthday they gifted me a bottle of sparkling wine.. something for everyone..great for the kids..food was good too. Giving 4 stars due to CONCIERGE. WOW. I understand their job is to try to offer the amenities, sell, recommend etc. But, I believe her name was Noella…she was EXTREMELY EXTREMELY persistent and it made my stay very unenjoyable. First, you are greeted with concierge as soon as you land and check in. Nice to get the lay of the land but depending on travelers jet leg, time difference, hunger etc it’s not the best with ALL of the information they provide at once. Now, not only do they give you the information about the entire facility; but they are also providing amenities etc. She insisted on me getting a massage and I said I am not interested. I get massages at home monthly and I don’t want this. She wouldn’t let the topic go. As my baby is crying and she’s talking to my husband she’s planning a day to pick us up take us out to breakfast and reserve a cabana. I don’t even understand what was happening. Please take my no for a response. Please stop trying to sell me services I decline. If I show interest that is a different story. If I say no please stop trying to pressure people to spend money on services they do not want. All I wanted and I made it clear was that I wanted to get my baby settled into our room after her first flight and she was starving. And she wouldn’t stop talking about the cabanas. Cancelled whatever breakfast situation she was trying to plan. She seemed to show up and go out of her way to speak with my husband on numerous occasions. It was just very unfortunate and I wish I never met her for my trip honestly. Because it put a bad perspective of the concierge staff in my head from now on. I went out of my way to ask any other staff member questions and avoid concierge.

The food at the circus show was so great. All the fun different treats was a nice surprise. The musical was cool. Not was I was expecting but a nice variety of songs. The acrobatic portion of the show was so cool! It was fun to see all the tricks that were done. I think that on the itinerary should be more clear and say what is actually happening rather than just saying “circus show” just so people know what is actually going on but otherwise it was wonderful!!
