We spent 10 nights at the Holiday Inn Samui as a family of five, and overall it was a great experience. The location is perfect – just a one-minute walk from Fisherman’s Village, with lots of nice restaurants, shops, and a great atmosphere. The hotel staff are absolutely amazing – always smiling, friendly, and ready to help with anything we needed, always with genuine kindness and a big smile. The hotel is very family-friendly. The kids’ club is beautiful, clean, and well-run, with a lovely, caring team. Our kids honestly didn’t want to leave! The hotel restaurant is excellent, both in quality and value – when you order a main course for an adult, the kids eat for free, which is a huge plus for families. The only downsides are the pool and the beach. The pool area is quite small and often crowded, which makes it a bit uncomfortable to sit and move around since the floor is usually wet. The beach itself is also not very attractive or inviting for swimming. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel for families with children – great service, great location, and perfect for kids!

If you have kids, definitely come here. I have never seen a hotel this children focused, every tiny detail was thought through carefully. The hotel was clean with very kind and attentive and helpful staff. There are many..MANY activities to keep your kids busy from all ages. Our son is 9 and loved the place. You can also leave your child at the Jungle Club and spend some private time as a couple if you like. Your kid will be in safe hands! Location 10-15m drive to central places like Chaweng, does not offer free airport transfer (most hotels don’t). But there is a lovely golf car you can use to get to your room, especially after a tiring night out and if your room is on the far side of the complex👍 I am not sure if it would me wise to come here as a couple or single, is more suitable and set up for families with children. Thanks to the staff, we’ll always remember

I stayed at Holiday Inn Resort Samui Bophut Beach by IHG with my wife and kid, and it was an amazing experience! From the moment we arrived, everything felt perfect. The facilities are outstanding, and the room design is top-notch — you can really tell it was decorated by a skilled architect with great attention to detail. One of the highlights for us was the kids’ playroom — it’s huge, full of activities, and kept our child entertained for hours. This was honestly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The combination of comfort, family-friendly facilities, and beautiful design makes it a place we would love to return to. Highly recommended!

The hotel has an excellent location — right on the Fisherman’s Village, with a lovely promenade for walking and beautiful beaches nearby. The property is clean, and the staff are very friendly. They even offered us two extra hours for a late check-out at no charge, which was much appreciated. The hotel facilities are great and very well-suited for families, with several pools and a kids club designed for younger children. We stayed with our 7-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son, and they both had an amazing time. Breakfast was varied and delicious, with fresh dishes and plenty of options. Even though the hotel was fully booked, it never felt crowded — there was always enough space and a relaxed atmosphere. This is a perfect hotel for families with young children, but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it for couples without kids or families with older teenagers.

This is a great hotel for people with young families - the hotel is geared up for children with plenty of activities. There is a fantastic indoor full air con’d play room which is huge. Pros - great location, on the beach, 3 mins from 7 Eleven and the market. Plenty of restaurant and bars very close. Huge shout out to kitchen staff ‘O’ and ‘Rum’, these two were fantastic and went out their way each morning to make sure we had everything we needed. Also the rooms are looked after by the same person during your stay and she did an amazing job ensuing the rooms were clean very early in the morning. Negatives - the walls are very thin and every night around 11:30-1am had to make calls to reception to ask them to ask our neighbours quiet down. Drunk family with kids up very late. Of course they are entitled to have a good time but very loud, could hear every word. Would not recommend this hotel if your children are light sleepers.
