A lovely modern beachfront resort that is perfect for families. I’m very critical of cleanliness in hotels and overall could not fault it, staff are constantly working hard to keep everything in order. Has a very Zen vibe to it and aesthetically pleasing. Location is amazing, you’re basically next to fishermen’s village with easy access to food and local stalls. If you’re travelling without kids I wouldn’t recommend it as there are kids everywhere and you are unlikely to find a quiet spot, however it was perfect for our toddler. There is a soft play, regular activities and a splash park, however there isn’t enough seating at the splash park and often gets crowded. Staff are all very friendly and helpful, breakfast had a good variety and runs till 11 which is nice. The only let down was the type of guests staying there, a certain group of entitled tourists (that are also not welcome in some places in Thailand) that are quite rude and hostile to the staff and towards other guests. Staff have expressed their dissatisfaction with this also which is sad to hear as they have to deal with it daily. Holiday inn resort should take their staff’s wellbeing seriously. But if you look past this it’s an overall nice place to stay.

We stayed at Holiday Inn Resort Samui Bophut and overall had a very pleasant experience, especially as a family traveling with children. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, always polite and helpful. One of the highlights of the hotel is the pool area, which is excellent—well-designed, spacious, and very enjoyable for both adults and children. The hotel is extremely family-friendly. The facilities for children are very good, making this an ideal choice for families. There are plenty of activities and areas designed specifically with kids in mind, which made our stay much more relaxing. The room was a decent size—comfortable and practical without being particularly luxurious or flashy. It met our needs well and felt clean and functional. The location is another strong point. The hotel is well situated in Bophut, making it easy to get around and access nearby attractions, restaurants, and the beach. Food and drinks at the hotel are on the expensive side compared to local options, and unfortunately the quality of the food does not fully justify the higher prices. That said, the breakfast buffet was outstanding—easily the best we had during our three weeks of traveling around Thailand. There was a wide variety of options, good quality, and something for everyone. Overall, this is a very solid hotel, particularly for families with children. While food pricing could be improved, the great pool area, excellent breakfast, friendly staff, and strong family facilities make this a hotel we would recommend.

Recently stayed for 6 nights. Amazing hotel for adults and kids. The kids club, pools, slides, gym are all amazing. We went to the Circus one night which the kids loved. Our room was amazing, and the cleaners were 11/10. The only thing we would change is the location of the pilates / yoga. It is on the grass outside where people are eating breakfast, so not the best spot for quietness. Other than this, we couldn't fault the Holiday Inn at Koh Samui. Lots of great restaurants nearby, and the night markets are great too.

Highly Recommended for Families & Kids 🌴 Holiday Inn Koh Samui is an excellent choice for families traveling with children. The resort is spacious, well-designed, and very family-friendly, with plenty of activities to keep kids entertained while parents can truly relax. The kids’ facilities are well thought out, from the fun kids’ club to the pool areas that are safe and enjoyable for all ages. The staff are genuinely warm, patient, and attentive—especially towards families with young children, which makes a big difference during a holiday. Rooms are comfortable and clean, with practical layouts suitable for families. The beachfront location is beautiful and convenient, offering stunning views and easy access to the sea. Breakfast has good variety and caters well to both adults and kids. Overall, Holiday Inn Koh Samui strikes a perfect balance between comfort, fun, and relaxation. A wonderful family resort that creates happy memories for both parents and children. Highly recommended with love from Singapore ❤️🇸🇬

We spent 10 nights at the Holiday Inn Samui as a family of five, and overall it was a great experience. The location is perfect – just a one-minute walk from Fisherman’s Village, with lots of nice restaurants, shops, and a great atmosphere. The hotel staff are absolutely amazing – always smiling, friendly, and ready to help with anything we needed, always with genuine kindness and a big smile. The hotel is very family-friendly. The kids’ club is beautiful, clean, and well-run, with a lovely, caring team. Our kids honestly didn’t want to leave! The hotel restaurant is excellent, both in quality and value – when you order a main course for an adult, the kids eat for free, which is a huge plus for families. The only downsides are the pool and the beach. The pool area is quite small and often crowded, which makes it a bit uncomfortable to sit and move around since the floor is usually wet. The beach itself is also not very attractive or inviting for swimming. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel for families with children – great service, great location, and perfect for kids!
