The hotel was wonderful. They pool for the kids was perfect and the kids club staff was very engaged and accomidating for the children. Our kids loved going there. I HIGHLY recommend using the photographers on the property. We used them and the photos turned out great and were cheaper than hiring a photographer anywhere else. We were never hungry with the hours and the buffet offered many options. If you need a workout, the gym was better than any hotel gym I've been to. I plan to come back again!

This hotel doesn't live up to its 5-star rating. We had a rooftop suite – it was cold and uncomfortable. It was large, but of little use. The fold-out sofa where our child slept was creaky and uncomfortable, and the mattress was stained from previous use. The hotel staff was completely unfriendly and unwelcoming. The breakfast was meager, with few healthy options. Thawed berries and canned goods instead of fruit were a nightmare. I've never seen anything like this in a 5-star hotel. There's no good coffee on site. The pool bar doesn't sell food without a reservation, even though it was COMPLETELY empty when we visited. It's simply absurd. The bed in the room didn't have a full duvet cover, just sheets. It's incredibly inconvenient. There were three of us, but they only brought two cups for tea; apparently, this hotel doesn't count children as people. Late check-out costs an extra 30 euros per hour. The staff is rude, never helpful, and unwelcoming. The gym has old, creaky equipment, and everything is tired. Ultimately, the price/quality ratio is completely out of balance. We won't be going back. And I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Riviera Crew Food
Magical, there is not one thing I would change about this venue! We stayed for three days and were both wishing it was longer! The staff couldn't be more helpful, we came all inclusive and it was fantastic. The food was all perfect, especially the Swordfish! The drinks are all top brands, no scrimping on measures either! We will be back for sure! There are 3 main buildings and we would choose the second one given the choice again. They vary in price and view etc! What a magical break at this wonderful hotel! We will be back.

This Hotel is absolutely stunning and we've came back for the past 4 years. Food is delicious with amazing choices and as we don't tend to drink a lot we go half board. If you want to see the real Tenerife then see the lovely Genevieve to hire a car, and ask for recommendations of places to visit, she's a wealth of knowledge. The Spa and gym are great for burning off all the food you'll eat... or at least some of it. The entertainment is fun and family friendly, dancers, singers, kids clubs and this time there was an adult only craft activity ran by a lovely woman from Letiz Glass Experience, where I was guided to make my own glass pendant...a lovely memory of my trip and certainly something I'd recommend taking part in. The staff covering this Hotel are just exceptional, highly talented, friendly, so very kind and accommodating. I'll be sad to go home but I will look forward to returning next year for a relaxing holiday. Massive thank you for always making our holiday so special and memorable. 🙏🥰

Overall a pretty solid (low-ish) 5* resort that is good for families. The price point felt about right, but people should be aware this isn’t the fanciest of 5* resorts. We stayed in the privilege section of the resort, so this review refers to that experience - some bits are less relevant if you don’t pay for the privilege upgrade. The good: - The water park for the kids has 4 slides and is really fun. By mid afternoon the water was generally warm enough for young kids to also enjoy themselves, although I would suggest that a bit more heating in the family pools during peak season when there are huge numbers of young guests would be a wise investment. - The food is overall pretty good. Buffet is good quality and has a nice selection and overall a very good quality/quantity balance. The coffee shop is very good. We also found the privilege restaurant to be very good. The Italian was okay. It was a shame we couldn’t get a reservation for the Japanese. It’s rather small and requires some efficiency to get the reservation in as soon as the system opens. - The evening entertainment in the upstairs bar at 9pm was good and enjoyable for adults. The 9pm show in the theatre downstairs was always a bit odd… couldn’t really work out who the audience was. It felt like it was sort-of for the kids, but at 9pm it’s too late for the little ones, but then wasn’t really the quality or style I’d expect for an adults show. - The rooms are very nice and recently renovated. Could be improved - Getting a taxi from the hotel was often just chaos. It was a busy time of year and despite reception saying taxis take “5 minutes” on one occasion I waited an hour (missed my tennis court reservation) and on another almost 30 minutes. The hotel perhaps couldn’t do much about the wait, but could do something about their communication and how they then manage the taxis arriving and who gets in them. On the surface there is a system of reserving them with room numbers but after waiting 20+ minutes people were just taking whichever taxi arrived and the system was chaotic - I witnessed an argument between two groups of frustrated guests. No sign of the door men anywhere and they just shrugged their shoulders when people complained. - The arcade games room is an absolute scam. For 2 euros your child can get between 5 and 45 seconds of entertainment. I’ve been to many arcades and never had one that had such poor value for money. It’s embarrassing for the hotel to have a games room that rips customers off so much. The games need to be set up so that kids get some more time actually playing for their 2 euros. - The kids club is a bit mixed - it’s a pleasant play area for kids (and good that you can accompany young kids), but the room really isn’t that big, and felt pretty crowded in the afternoon when the weather wasn’t great. Equally, they organised some fun activities in the family pool (we loved the inflatable!) and the mini discos were well visited each evening. - The reservation system for dinner makes sense. For breakfast, a bit less so... But the most absurd part was having to "reserve" the snack bar at 2pm when we had already sat down (it was empty) but were told we "needed" a reservation. This is such a bonkers practice that is customer unfriendly and just not the kind of customer-service that I want at a 5* resort. It may feel like just a small ask ("just go to the QR code here and reserve") but it just felt so totally unnecessary and absurdly bureaucratic when we just wanted to eat something quickly with two hungry kids. Other guests also found this system silly.
