We spent five days at the hotel with my two daughters and had a great time. The hotel is in a beautiful location, stepping out onto the balcony and seeing the ocean in front of us - a fantastic experience. The interior of the hotel would really be nicer with a renovation, but the rooms are well equipped, the beds are very comfortable. There is a large selection of food, which is delicious and varied. Sometimes of course we had to wait for food or in the bars, but with so many guests this is natural. The staff deserves all the praise, they work hard, yet are always kind and helpful, whether it's the waiters, the young people at the pool, or the pretty animators. Special thanks to the cleaning ladies, they were friendly and smiling despite their hard work. Overall, I think the Semiramis is a great hotel in a beautiful location - I hope we will come back!

My stay was completely overshadowed by a serious breach of privacy. I returned to my room to find two members of staff inside, despite leaving the Do Not Disturb sign on my door before I went out. Reception later claimed the sign had been found on the floor, but when I returned to my room it was still hanging on the door where I had left it. The staff told me they were returning my laundry, but the laundry was left in the middle of the room while both of them were further inside the room. As I walked in, the male staff member quickly left, which made the whole situation feel even more suspicious and uncomfortable. When I reported the incident, reception handled it very poorly. I felt I was being called a liar and was told the man in my room was a guest, despite the fact that he was wearing what appeared to be a hotel uniform. Instead of taking my concerns seriously and carrying out a proper investigation, my complaint was dismissed. I expect my privacy and security to be respected when staying in a hotel. The way this incident was handled completely destroyed my confidence in the hotel. Hi, What a lovely time we had here last week. Myself, wife and daughter stayed here for 7 days. Met by Oscar in reception on Friday he went over and above to assist with my request to be placed in adjacent rooms. Excellent views felt like I was on a cruise liner looking at the sea. We are mostly vegetarian/vegan we mentioned this on the first day and we're given taylor made bespoke food for the rest of the week upon request, the choice is excellent in any case especially the dessert yummy. The entertainment staff and the shows provided are really good ,bingo every night light hearted and fun followed by a different show. Dancing, circus acts,Singers we really liked it and the qualities of the performers was superb. Lovely pool clean and fresh well kept gardens all round 100%. The thing that was the best were the staff in every department kind,helpfull,funny and enthusiastic smartly turned out and happy. Well done xx

I am not sure how this is a 5 star hotel. 3 at best. Parts of the hotel are very dated (parts of the ceiling literally looked like they were going to fall in) and constant smell of drains in our room and near the pool. The all inclusive isn't really all inclusive which is very confusing as there was no mention in our booking that some stuff was not included. The all inclusive cocktails were absolutely disgusting, coming from a box. The shaded sun beds were absolutely filthy as well as the towels provided for the pool (had to go and change ours). We had to use towels to block the bathroom from flooding when we had a shower and when we told reception nothing was done. The shower couldn't decide if it was either going to be absolutely freezing or deathly hot (same for the tap) and while I know it is a big hotel cleaning service coming in at 8am was a little disruptive. The children's play area looked like a death trap while the tables on the restaurant balcony for breakfast were extremely rusted and could be dangerous if someone were to cut their foot. Wifi extremely slow also. When asked to borrow an iron was told we could pay a laundry service and when we eventually pushed for on they gave us something that was from the 70s or 80s. Also in snack bar don't advertise certain liqueurs and then give the cheaper versions. I've stayed in other 5 star hotels that make this look like a 1 star. Pros are that the views are exceptional and it is a pleasant walk into town.

After arriving early from the UK on a 5am flight, we got to the hotel around 1:30pm hoping to freshen up, but unfortunately our room wasn’t ready. All we really wanted was a quick shower and somewhere to change, but we were advised to go for lunch while we waited. Even after that, the room still wasn’t ready, so we ended up going to the bar for a drink. Thankfully, after a few hours, it was finally available. The hotel itself is spotless and very well maintained, with plenty of seating areas to relax, which we really appreciated. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable, which made our stay more enjoyable once we got settled. Food-wise, the first few nights were great, but it did become quite repetitive as the week went on. Breakfast was definitely the highlight, with the best variety and quality. The hotel offers both half board and all-inclusive options, but the snack bar has fairly limited choices. The heated indoor pool was a bit disappointing, as it didn’t feel as warm as expected. Also, most of the hotel facilities are located at the top, meaning there are a lot of stairs. This became a bit of a concern, especially when it rained (which it did quite often), as the tiled floors can get very slippery—particularly around the pool areas. The staff were all very pleasant and friendly throughout our stay. However, getting drinks in the restaurant could be quite slow. Since service is required for both half board and all-inclusive guests, there was often a wait, and it wasn’t always easy to find someone available. Overall, the hotel has many positives, especially in terms of cleanliness and staff, but there are a few areas that could be improved to enhance the overall guest experience.
