Hands down the best hotel we've been as a family. Location is superb, beach and town center are both very close. The service is excellent. Room was soundproof. The hotel is not crowded, there is always enough sunbeds around the pool, no queues at the restaurant. The food selection is also exceptional. I.e. they offered multiple kinds of sushi and steaks everyday. We had a wonderful time there.

Our second visit to the Tacande and we were not disappointed. Location is excellent - opposite beach and near to shops, bars and restaurants. Impeccable service in all areas of the hotel - reception, bars, restaurants, maid services - all friendly and efficient. They could not do enough to make sure you enjoyed your stay. Good tennis court - we played every day. Enjoyed our visit to the new Michelin-starred restaurant Haydee, which is attached to the hotel. Our room in Casa Fuente was huge with a lovely terrace and great views all round of the sea, the pool area and the mountains behind. The only criticism I have is that the room layout means the bath is quite prominently in the room (which is a bit odd) and that there is no proper door on the toilet. However long you have been married to somebody, some things are still better left private!

The hotel is beautiful and the staff are all really friendly, helpful and welcoming. The location is perfect. The breakfast is fantastic, the best we’ve had in a 5-star hotel! The pools are great and really enjoyed the pool bike class. Only downsides were that they had cancelled all kids activities due to low numbers, this was really disappointing and not fair for the guests who were there, especially during school holidays. And the pool attendant was quite rude when I asked for help with an umbrella on a windy day. Although we loved our stay, I wouldn’t return with children. Great for adults though!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Everything was lovely from start to finish. The food was delicious, with plenty of choice and excellent quality throughout our stay. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. Their excellent service really made our holiday extra special. The pool area was absolutely spotless and very well maintained, making it a pleasure to relax there each day. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and in a fantastic location. Just outside the hotel, there was a beautiful clean beach within easy walking distance, along with many lovely restaurants, cafés, and shops nearby. It was the perfect place to enjoy both relaxation and exploring the local area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return in the future. Highly recommended!

We recently stayed for the 5th time at the Gran Tacande, and the experience is as strong as ever The hotel is beautiful, with great facilities, set in a perfect location in the nicer region of Tenerife South Many of the team have worked there for many years and are extremely passionate about the hotel and the guests, and have taken the time during our several visits over the years to really get to know us and remember us In particular I would like to recognise Javier, Ronald, Ola, and Jony for providing us such outstanding personalised service every day. Thank you to all the Gran Tacande team for another perfect stay One of the jewels of this hotel is the Azotea sunset bar - which as the name suggests, is unbeatable during sunset The breakfast selection is very premium, and the facilities such as the pools and bars are outstanding. The hotel is designed for far more people than it accommodates, which means shared facilities such as sun loungers, tables, etc are plentiful, you never have to fight for the best spot! Every aspect of this hotel is perfect. I would never consider any other hotel!
