Just come back from a wonderful week’s stay at the Gran Tacande. We had been recommended to stay here by our friends. We were not disappointed. The location is second to none. Literally right on the seafront. What sets this hotel apart is the staff. Every member of staff simply can’t do enough for you & they genuinely care, from the reception, to the dining room, pool area, bedrooms, they were all wonderful. Loved the expansive pool area, plenty of sunloungers (super comfy) & no need to reserve. We stayed half board & enjoyed so much lovely fresh fish, salads, homemade soups, veggies, Chinese & sushi, seafood & meat (although we stuck to fish). Desserts were delicious too with so much choice. Breakfast was great. Just a couple of things here, I don’t like seeing boxes of cereals laid out, I think it tends to cheapen the display. Also, no granola so that was a shame. Loved the fresh pomegranates - don’t often see that. I took part in 2 lovely yoga sessions & a wonderful sound bath. Our room was lovely with a superb view (room 630) A couple of gripes here. Why oh why put a great big bath right in the middle of the room? Just such a waste of space. Also, we weren’t keen on the set up of the toilet & shower area. Frosted glass door for the loo - not great. The great big sink in the room was also not ideal. My partner complained at how much water he wasted when shaving & having to fill such a big sink. Apart from that, the bed was really comfy & so large! A proper full size bed (not 2 singles put together, which we often find) There were supposed to be 2 lifts that we could use to get to our room, however, only one was working the whole time & the doors opened SO slowly. Not too keen on the cheesy, piped music in the lift either. The gym was great, never seen so much equipment in a hotel gym. The spa looked lovely although we didn’t use it as the weather was too nice & we felt it would’ve been a shame to be inside! We went up to the rooftop bar one evening to listen to the Cuban musicians & enjoyed Mojitos & the great view. Thankyou Gran Tacande for our lovely, mid-January break!

First hotel holiday in many years, first time in Tenerife and boy did we land on our feet with this one! Hotel so easy to find from Airport. Service was amazing, nothing was any trouble. Everyone friendly and helpful, even a lady who was pushing a bedding trolley helped me find my way to the rooftop bar. Easy 15/20 min walk to the strip with many many restaurants and bars, passing the beach on the way. Food was amazing although we only did breakfasts, but so much choice! Bar prices were reasonable and not hiked up too much. Had such a great time we have booked to go back this Sept.

We enjoyed a wonderful time. All staff are superb and so helpful. The yoga classes plus the sound bar class were a joy. The hotel is in an excellent location with walks to west and east. Plenty of bars and restaurants are nearby. We did have dinner at the hotel one evening, plenty of choices for all. Breakfast, again had all choices - some food being freshly cooked. We will return.

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and I can guarantee that it is one of the best hotels in Costa Adeje, if not the best. The room is very clean and very well equipped, the bed is very comfortable, and the views (depending on the area) are spectacular. The quality of the food is impeccable, they offer variety, and you can tell that the products are fresh. And the gym is very well equipped, professional style. The hospitality is touching, and you always feel welcome. The atmosphere simply conveys peace and comfort. Just one detail: in the room we stayed in, the hot water took a while to come through, but that doesn't change the good experiences I had at this hotel. I really hope to come back soon and stay longer. So, Gran Tacande, thank you very much for the wonderful memories you have given me. 😄

Beautiful hotel location beside the beach Quality food great rooms comfy Beds clean great staff had amazing stay Not the best for value for money meaning you could find as good quality for less money all said had lovely time there Would I come back maybe not. Thats not to say was anything wrong just felt was over priced was full so obviously demand is high... Great walks from hotel along the Beach good Access to hotel
