Stayed here one day and one night of our 3 day package with Elephant Hills. During the day we did a 30min canoe ride. Since you have a person paddling for you, you can fully focus on animal spotting. Next you have the elephant experience. We found this a bit underwhelming. You only get to feed them for about 15 minutes, and you won’t be getting really close with them. We had another day at an elephant farm in Chiang Mai where we got to roam and bathe with the elephants. This elephant experience is nothing compared to the one in Chiang Mai. This about the only “bad” thing I can say about the rest of our stay here. Rooms (tents, but they are more like rooms with all the luxury included 😅) are great! Slept very good and the bathroom in your tent is amazing! The food is nice and freshly prepared. They also have a nice selection of beers, wine and cocktails! You pay a tourist premium for them, but you also get a quality cocktail in return. Nice for the evening after all the activities. The packages at Elephant Hills are expensive, but you get the value when you go to the lake camp. Read my google review of that place and you will know why. It is simply amazing!

I would give 100 stars if i could! What an amazing few days we had. We stayed at te tents for 2 nights 3 days and had the best time (wished i booked a 3rd night, but we will return). Food was delicious, staff friendly and knowledgeble, the activities were well planned and enjoyable (loved the elephant experience and jungle trek). Tents are clean. Overall fantastic experience. UPDATE: Just to show how amazingly wonderful the staff at Elephant Hill are - we bought some souvenirs at the camp to remember our trip and share with family. I stupidly forgot the bag on the transfer bus to the hotel. After the bus left, i remembered. I emailed the team at Elephant Hills asking if there is anyway when the driver comes back to drop off more customers in the coming days, if he can bring the bag to me. I was so sad that i left it. I thought emailing them was a long shot, plus the trip from my hotel to the camp was over 3 hours away. They immediately emailed me back asking for my hotel details and said they will look into it and get back to me. The following morning when we came down for breakfast at 08:45am the bag was at reception. I almost cried. The speed of response, the friendliness, empathy, politeness of the team, including the driver, was first class. As per my original review, you will not regret a second if you book the elephant hills experience. It just brilliant and worth every penny.

I would rate 10 stars if I could. Recently visited for 1 day at the camp by Elephant Hills and 1 night on the lake camp and my time there was possibly the best holiday experience ever. Staff are super friendly and helpful, my guide Dean was amazing. Food was amazing with a variety of stuff to enjoy. But the excursions and scenery are really what made this stand out. Each day was action packed and fun with a lovely environment to relax in afterwards. Cannot recommend Elephant Hills enough, I will definitely be coming back.

Great location with a clear focus on eco-tourism and sustainability. Everything was well organised and our tour guide Nong, was excellent. The elephants were stunning and being able to find out more about the history and culture of these magnificent animals was a bucket list item. The bamboo rafting, trekking, kayaking, swimming and paddle boarding kept us hungry, which was essential as the food was delicious. Mosquito repellent is a must as is a spirit for adventure.

What an amazing place!! Had a 2 night stop here while travelling through the country. On our first afternoon We took part in the guided kayaking where we saw snakes, monkeys and very large spiders along the river. We then went on to see the elephants and learn about them. Absolute highlight of the whole trip. We made up a basket of food for them and hand fed them it. You can stroke them as much as you like all while being carefully supervised by their keepers. Second day we did the boat trip to the lake camp where we loved the swimming paddle boarding and self kayaking. The final morning we trekked through the local forest learning lots about the forest and its inhabitants. A recent group of wild elephant had been through close to camp. The food and accommodation are great as is the pool for a dip after a busy day. The tents can get congested the more beds you have as they appear to be the same size whether there is 2 or 4 of you. A special thanks to Ing our guide for the stay who was very knowledgeable and funny.
