There are SO MANY COCKROACHES in the room. We stayed at this hotel for two weeks and the room was absolutely infested with cockroaches. They were literally everywhere. In the bathroom, on your towels. On the last night, I woke up with a cockroach in my bed!! There was a really unpleasant sewer smell in the room. The only plus: delicious breakfasts. But there were a lot of wasps. You sit at breakfast and watch other people get stung on the tongue by wasps while they were eating...

Our 1st room was placed right in front of kids swimming pool area(we did requested quiet room on trip.com). Thankfully after ask front desk and we able to move to the quiet room on the other side of the resort on next day. However the 2nd room was quite a bit dusty with the drains in the bath room a bit smelly, room was a slightly smell of mold/dumb. We found a cockcroach in the room. After requested house keeping to remove, the house keeping lady has attitude about it. I understand that the location is in the jungle there is no need for the attitude and speak to customer this. Especially for the high price we paid in high season. The management team could be more professional to fix the problem and follow-up with sincere and care to make a better experience during stay. The following down i found a baby cockcroach in our room. I think the room need to be checked properly/house keeping and pest control. Also the check out day same house keeping lady came early to check the room while we are on packing pricess and and get ourself ready before check out time. Staff need to give more training to improve the service and attitude this is shouldn't happen in 5* resort.

stayed with my partner at the Kalima Hotel for two weeks, and it was a truly pleasant experience. The hotel perfectly matched what we were looking for: a relaxing vacation, mostly to spend quality time together as a couple, without the rush of doing too much sightseeing (since it’s not our first time in Thailand). We stayed in one of the Villas and were pleasantly surprised by how spacious the room was. Every detail was perfectly functional, and it offered great privacy since it was located at the end of the hotel, close to the beach. The food at the hotel was delicious. Breakfast offered a basic buffet, but both hotel restaurants had a good variety of dishes — from pasta to meat options — which I really appreciated as a picky eater. Service was 10/10 — the staff were always smiling and seemed to genuinely enjoy their work. It was lovely to see that during our stay, there was even a day when the hotel organized a staff party on-site, and everyone looked so happy. The beach was nice — not really comparable to the Krabi area (those beaches are truly paradise!) — but it was perfect for relaxing on the loungers while listening to the sound of the waves. The spa was incredible, I received a massage that aligned each and every one of my chakras. The service was super nice, offering tea and cookies throughout. Points for improvement: there wasn’t always staff available at the beach kiosk; sometimes there was no one around to assist us or offer drinks. Other than that, I would 100% recommend this hotel:)

Here's my taken. There are couplecof issues with this place. One, the stay and the resort in itself is very dark. I mean, we stayed inother 5star properties in khao lak and I feel having the resort in all white makes a ton on difference. The kids play room is amazing. The food is good, but if you are a vegetarian you will struggle here even with the breakfast. Beach is peaceful and beautiful. Out only issue is that the resort doesn't feel like a beautiful 5 star beach property which you expect. Room large but the whole setup is so dark and gloomy, makes you want to head out of the property rather than stay back in and chill

The hotel is very nice and quite big. The swimming pool is big including the kid swimming pool. I like that they have a mini private pool right in front of your room. Too bad we did not get that kind of room We got a room on the second floor. It was pretty hard with a baby and a stroller working up and down. Other than that, everything is good. Especially breakfast is the best. There are a variety of food and sweets. The staffs are friendly
