This was my first stay at Avani+ Khao Lak Resort, and even though I visited during the rainy season, I had a wonderful experience. The resort has a peaceful atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and a stunning beachfront that made the stay enjoyable regardless of the weather. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, providing the perfect place to relax while listening to the sound of the rain. The resort’s facilities were well maintained, and there were plenty of areas to unwind and enjoy the tranquil environment. What impressed me most was the warm hospitality from the staff. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The breakfast selection was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options to start the day. Although the weather was not always sunny, the relaxing atmosphere and outstanding service made this trip truly memorable. I would happily return again and highly recommend Avani+ Khao Lak Resort to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing getaway in Khao Lak.

On this trip, our family included toddlers, working adults, and grandparents—and everyone unanimously loved the food. It is rare to find a breakfast that satisfies and comforts every single generation so completely!As regular guests, we love how the chefs thoughtfully update the menu so there is always a delightful surprise. Last month, we adored the delicate Onsen Eggs. This time, they treated us to a heavenly Scrambled Eggs on Sourdough with two amazing sauces: a rich green curry and a gently spicy coconut sauce. The combination was absolute perfection.What makes breakfast here extra special is the wonderful team. What can I say about Avani+ Khao Lak other than that it is a truly unique resort set in a paradise-like destination? Avani's lifestyle approach creates the perfect balance between relaxation, local experiences, and genuine hospitality. For travelers looking not only to stay somewhere beautiful but also to connect with the destination, this property delivers a truly memorable experience. The beach is stunning, the restaurants are exceptional, and each dining venue offers its own unique experience while maintaining a consistently high standard of quality. The service is outstanding throughout the resort, from the reception team to the many associates working behind the scenes to make every stay seamless. The spa deserves a special mention. It is a truly unique sanctuary where guests can fully immerse themselves in wellness, disconnect from the pressures of everyday life, and genuinely recharge both body and mind. It is the perfect place to slow down, restore balance, and recover a sense of mental well-being. My time here was simply unforgettable. I spent carefree days surrounded by beautiful scenery, excellent food, and warm hospitality. Most importantly, I felt at home even while being so far away from home. Could not recommend more!! I was a bit apprehensive as we were travelling with a baby and a toddler, and this was not our first choice hotel after several other hotels were fully booked… but we had an incredible stay! The resort is the perfect size, compact but cleverly laid out and gorgeous to walk around. Its hilarious at nap times watching all the dads do the nap laps. The (several) pools, splash pad, kids club (indoor, outdoor and on the beach) and beach area itself are all spot on. So much to keep kiddos of all ages entertained. The staff are all genuinely so friendly and can’t do more to try to help you. You are a bit out of town, it’s a 15-20 min drive, but there are multiple great local restaurants a very short walk along the beach so you don’t need to go far. The hotel also offer a shuttle to the night market. The restaurants at the hotel are all excellent but they are about double what you pay at a local place, although for what you get that felt reasonable and we made use of both. I am going to seriously miss watching the sunset at the beach bar, happy hour there was glorious. Thank you so much!

I recently stayed in an upper-floor suite at the Anantara Vacation Club and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The suite is incredibly spacious and well-designed, making it both practical and comfortable for a relaxing getaway. A standout feature for me was the master bedroom’s bathroom, which is impressively large and well-appointed. The living area was also a highlight—a perfect, cozy space to hang out and unwind. I did notice a minor issue with the room: certain areas felt slightly damp, which resulted in a subtle, lingering odor. While it wasn't overly disruptive to my stay, it is something the housekeeping team might want to look into to perfect the experience. Additionally, I really enjoyed the breakfast selection at the Element restaurant. It would be a fantastic improvement if they could introduce a dedicated Halal-certified meat section to ensure Muslim guests can dine with complete peace of mind. Overall, I truly love this place and had a wonderful time. I would definitely consider returning!
