Our first time in Cancun could not have been more perfect at the Dreams Sapphire Resort & Spa. The resort atmosphere is beautiful, and the vibes throughout the property are absolutely stunning. We loved the food options here. Over the course of the 7 days, we were able to try a huge variety of different cuisines and dishes. What truly made this trip memorable for us was the incredible staff. We found ourselves constantly requesting and returning to the same wonderful people because of their top notch service. We are honestly so sad to leave because we are going to deeply miss them and their incredible hospitality. We want to give a massive special shout-out to: Sergio Mendoza, Ivan, Francisco, and Ismael at the World Cafe Buffet for always making our dining experiences so special. Antonio at the Barracuda beach bar for his incredible service and energy. These individuals went completely above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. We had a lovely week at Dreams Sapphire! Staff were excellent to deal with, all very pleasant and happy. Pool area was great, although the music could at times be a little too loud. Beach was nice, but a lot of seaweed. They do clean it every morning but the water wasn’t as clear as I was expecting, though I know this is out of the control of the resort. Food was all good, nothing spectacular but certainly good. Restaurants are first come first serve which can sometimes lead to a 1-2 hr wait list time. A lot of children and families were there during our stay so definitely a family friendly place if that’s something you’re looking for. Only complaint is our room didn’t get cleaned until 4:30 pm or later daily which was generally the time we were coming back to the room to relax/shower for dinner Overall we had a great week and we miss Mexico so much!!

We had a phenomenal stay at this hotel because of the staff who treated us like family! When my son's phone dropped in water and we asked for rice, they gave it to us and checked up on our situation. The rooms are also really good because of how it is layed out. When the power went out, the generator kicked in right away and when we called for the water that was not heating up, they sent somebody to fix it right away. The location is about 25 mins from the airport. The beach is not swimmable at this time (June) because of sargassum but the sailboat ride was fun for the kids. The entertainement was enjoyable for any ages - kids has explorer club,pool table,corn hole, clown performers, dancing lessons, silent disco, rock band, salsa night, fire acrobatics show, Junior Master Chef. They also have acrobatics & performers at the pool to keep you entertained all day until night at 11pm. They have shows at night at the theater - dance shows or Mexican presentation. The food options for breakfast was diverse and delicious. The staff at the restaurant was very attentive to our every need. They have ice cream that the kids enjoy until night time. Coffee shop is open until 1am. The pool is not that big but they have water slides and other activites like bike tour (12yo and above), mini golf, and pool activities like water aerobics, yoga that keep us entertained. They have pool table, corn holes, game room or VR room. They have sports bar/dance club and entertainer/singers every night. Overall, this hotel is such a great hotel that I recommend you stay in for the wonderful staff who doesn't wait for any tip but do their best to make you feel like home.

My vacation at the dreams sapphire was not good at all. First my wife and I was unaware of the seaweed situation along the coast line. The beach front was totally covered by seaweeds and the beach water was not accessible!! We had to spend most of our time at the pool which was overcrowded because of the beach situation! Spent more money to leave the resort to go to other islands just to enjoy the ocean water. The air conditioning units were bad!! We had to switch our room twice because the air conditioning units not working properly. Management never accommodated us for the problems we were having. The food was decent but nothing to brag about. The best restaurant is the steak house but the the French restaurant was good as well. Im leaving vacation feeling like I did before I got here needing relaxation!! I would not recommend this resort to anyone. The staff was good and friendly but as far as the amenities they were terrible!! 2.5 stars out of 5 i posted pictures of the beach at the sapphire and some pictures of the other island we went to. The water was night and day

Save your money and stay somewhere else. This was one of the most disappointing resort experiences I’ve ever had. The hotel is old, outdated, and in desperate need of renovations. The rooms and common areas feel worn down, and the overall experience is nowhere near what you’d expect from an all-inclusive vacation. The biggest issue was the constant upselling. From the moment you arrive, the staff is aggressively pushing timeshare presentations and trying to charge you extra for just about everything. Want to eat breakfast in an air-conditioned dining room? Extra charge. Want premium liquor instead of the cheapest options? Extra charge. Want to dine at certain restaurants? Extra charge. Calling this resort “all-inclusive” is extremely misleading because you’ll find yourself paying for things that should already be included. Another frustrating experience was trying to receive the complimentary full-size bottle of tequila, rum, or vodka that’s included with your stay. We were repeatedly told by staff that they didn’t know anything about it or acted like it didn’t exist. After speaking with what felt like ten different employees, we finally received it. Why should guests have to fight for something they’ve already paid for? To make matters worse, the resort is about a 50-minute drive from the airport, so you’re spending a significant amount of vacation time getting there, only to be disappointed once you arrive. Overall, this resort is not worth the money. Between the outdated property, misleading all-inclusive package, aggressive sales tactics, hidden fees, and poor customer service, I would never stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone. There are far better resorts that actually deliver the all-inclusive experience they advertise.
