I loved the Makan Kitchen. I have celiac disease. We called ahead for dinner and told them I have celiacs and have to eat gluten free. I aked if they could make Malaysian food gluten free. Chef Zul make Nasi Lemak and Air Batu Campur the first night and a fresh Tumeric Chicken. They were absolutely delicious. The service was amazing! I am so happy to have safe, authentic Malaysian food. I highly recommend this restaurant. Ask for Chef Zul.

Had a great stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with great views of the city. The location is very convenient, with easy access to Suria KLCC and public transport. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options, and the facilities like the pool and gym were well kept. I’d also like to give special recognition to our cleaner, Kabir Joy. He did an excellent job keeping our room spotless throughout our stay. He was very professional, friendly, and always made sure everything was clean and well organized. His attention to detail really made a difference and added to our overall positive experience at the hotel. Thank you, Kabir Joy, for your great service!

The Hotel is a gem amongst the many excellent hotels in KL. It is very conveniently situated in Ampang within the Intermark Mall and is in close proxity to both LRT and MRT. Our room was large, had a wonderful mountain view with a comfortable seating area, and a fabulous shower with excellent water pressure. All the expected facilities are within the room and the hotel places its own filtered water in the rooms, a commendable environmental policy. Housekeeping standards were excellent and the Housekeeping Team were always friendly. It would have been an advantage to have a television that could be cast to, but that is a small detail. The highlight of the Hotel is the wonderful staff. All are friendly, helpful and professional in their approach. If you wish to enhance your stay, the Executive Lounge is wonderful. The food service is amazing with a live food station serving Malay dishes each evening plus a wide range of other dishes. Breakfast offered a good selection of dishes as does afternoon tea. However, the amazing team lead by Customer Service Manager, Shalinda, made the stay very special. Our thanks to Vnish, Shabby, Rosana, Izza and Yuri. A few special mentions; for Royceson whose sense of humour was delightful, Magis, who never forgot which drink would be enjoyed each evening, it arrived like magic and a very special mention for Tina who made our experience at the hotel exceptional by being so kind, engaging and attentive including when we were away from the lounge. This meant so much to us. We stayed 8 nights and it felt like home which makes this hotel so special. Is this the best hotel in KL? There are more luxurious, have more facilities and a greater number of in-room amenities. However, for value, quality, comfort and superb staff, the Double Tree Kuala Lumpur rates amongst the best.

This property is located in one of the best locations in KL. Just a few meters from the MRT, and a less than 10-minute walk to the Iconic KLCC. It is connected to a mall, and so you will have a plethora of dining and shopping options. There are also many eateries surrounding the property, no matter the direction. As for the property itself, it is a bit dated but well maintained. The breakfast options are lovely, with various cuisines and seating options. The executive lounge is just wonderful, with delicious food options, great breakfasts, and a beautiful almost 360 view of Kuala Lumpur. Shalinda is the consummate hostess, who is great at what she does, and is a pearl at this property. She made us feel welcomed and a priority, something I saw her do with all guests at the lounge, giving that special attentive touch. She also has a wonderful and efficient team working with her, including Shabby, Magis, Umish, Hikal, Rozana, Tina, and Yuri. They are all pleasant and attentive, and made us feel like we were at home. Thanks to you all, and we wish for you a blessed, successful and happy 2026. We hope to see you again soon.

My mother said it was a hotel she was very satisfied with. We are here to celebrate our mother's birthday. I booked a suite and an executive lounge. Although the hotel is in the shopping mall, my mother needs a wheelchair. The concierge department will arrange it immediately, which is very helpful. When I went to the room, the housekeeping department had prepared a welcome gift, as well as a birthday balloon arrangement and a birthday card. My mother was very happy. There are a lot of guests in the lounge, and we can choose different cocktails in the menu. Food can also be eaten as dinner. The highlight is the breakfast in this hotel. There are really too many choices! I like Chinese food the most. The 碗仔糕 is very delicious. Remember to use the sauna and steam room next to the pool! You can also leave your luggage at the entrance of the mall after checking out, which is very convenient. Very good accommodation experience, good teamwork, Well done TEAM!! 👍🏻
