This is the best resort my wife and I have been to. Just returned from our second vacation there, and it was absolutely flawless as we expected. We love this place. We love the people. We LOVE Jamaica. Can’t wait to go back. The sunset cruise is an absolute must. (Included). Make sure to drink the punch 😉 The snorkelling is amazing (twice a day, included). The morning trip has calmer waters. Kayaks, water bikes etc are all included. The snorkelling guys are amazing. We go to Jamaica for the food. The food at this resort is top notch in our opinion. Breakfast the second time around was much better than our first visit. Huge improvement. Fresh patties at lunch were daily for me 🤤 jerk hotdogs, jerk chicken. Buffet, restaurants were great. We ate at the Asian fusion restaurant several times. The beach. Best beach we’ve been to. It’s waist deep, yet there’s all sorts of fish around you, as you float aimlessly on the awesome provided floating mat that comes with every chair on the resort. We saw a (huge) stingray minding his own business around us all, in shallow water. He’s a regular apparently. Couples is a great resort if you want a quiet and romantic getaway. It’s quiet, smaller, private, clean and safe. I’m sure we’ll be regulars.

We had a wonderful 3 nights at Couples Negril. While I agree with some of the recent reviews that it maybe doesn’t feel like a 5 star resort, the room was spacious and clean (and I’m picky!), the food was fresh and good (I’m gluten free and was thrilled by how many options I had), the staff was amazing (especially the dining staff), and the beach was out of this world. The veggie bar had fresh coconuts and delicious fruit too! It’s not a huge resort, but I think that’s part of its charm. It feels like a little community. I also appreciate that unlike other AI resorts I’ve been to, they don’t blast music or have crazy partying going on all day. It’s very benign in that sense and I appreciate the quiet and calm. We also loved the resort cats! We really loved our beach front room. We were literally steps away from the beach, which made trips to the beach so easy. And had a view of the beach which we really enjoyed in the morning and at sunset. The beach does get solicitors, but many of them are quite charming, including some great musicians who play live music and are so nice and funny! We’d happily come back, and look forward to hopefully visiting Couples other locations in Jamaica. We met so many guests here who have come back to Couples time and time again through the years, which says a lot! Don’t let any negative reviews scare you away. We have nothing but positive things to say, and again, I can be picky :). Thank you Couples for a lovely few days!

Overall, we loved our time at Couples Negril! It was our first time to Jamaica. The resort is beautiful and the beach and view was breathtaking. Very well kept, maybe too much in the swimming area as we hoped to see more aquatic life but we did see star fish and the daily stingrays would come through. We really enjoyed our basking on the beach and loved that they gave you a flag for drink service. The gentlemen handling beach service was fantastic (wish I remembered his name). Every employee was very happy, accommodating, friendly and gave Overall fantastic service. The piano bar bartender(again cant remember name!) Was amazing. The resort photographers were super personable and high energy. My husband has a cpap machine and wasnt able to bring distilled water but the staff found some for him and delivered it directly to our room, that is above and beyond service! We will definitely be back, thanks for a great first trip to Negril! I also need to remember to write names down as my memory is horrible when it comes to that! Pros- Staff and service Beach and views Meeting other wonderful couples Chill vibe Quiet and relaxing Cons- the hour and a half bus ride to resort from airport (not much they can do about that though) More flavor in the food (especially the Asian restaurant) Maybe a few more fun night time activities. We missed the fire show due to being tired traveling that day but made the bonfire the last night otherwise the other 3 nights it was only music.

As a travel agent who has traveled all over the world and stayed in some of the very best hotels, I can honestly say this is the best hotel I have ever experienced. From the moment we arrived in Jamaica, everything has been absolutely exceptional. The staff are truly outstanding — warm, welcoming, and they simply cannot do enough for you. The level of service is beyond anything I’ve experienced, and that’s saying something given how many luxury properties I’ve visited over the years. The food is incredible, with so much choice and consistently high quality at every meal. The premium all-inclusive offering really sets this hotel apart — it includes so many thoughtful extras that make the whole experience feel elevated and genuinely one of a kind. Our room is spotless, beautifully maintained, and housekeeping are absolutely brilliant. Every detail is taken care of. I genuinely cannot fault this hotel in any way. It has exceeded every expectation and set a new benchmark for me. I will be recommending it to all of my clients without hesitation — a truly unforgettable stay.

My husband and I visited along with 2 other couples to the Couple Negril March 2026, and had a good time. We did some fun things with the resort like a glass bottom boat ride, a Hobie boat ride, and we also did the booze cruise on the catamaran. If you go make sure to eat at the Grille in the evening. The chef is spot on with his flavors, personality with his guests, and knowledge for helping me out with my Celiac. I wish I could remember the Chefs name but he worked on March 26, 2026, so hopefully he gets a raise. 😉 If you eat in the main dining room the food is just ok, plus the first night the service in the main dining room was awful we waited forever for food and service. Took 3 hours to eat when we were all starving because it was the traveling day. I also want to make it clear to the owner that upkeep on your investment should be seriously considered! Along with more water stations for people to get their own water anytime day or evening. Back to who was appreciated. Sean, who helped us to our room when we arrived, very friendly and helpful. We also had great care from England who made sure all our needs were met with water activities. Lastly I want to recognize a beautiful spirited young woman who made my time at Couples the most memorable, and her name is Roxann. I'm hoping she has now made it past her 3 month probationary start to her job there. She is bright and cheering and very eager to learn and work hard while being so thankful for all she has. Thanks Roxann for making vacation perfect!
