The barcelo was a wonderful experience for my family and I. All the staff were very personable and made us all feel welcome (even my 8 month old baby). As soon as we walked in and they saw our baby they asked if we needed a crib and had it set up for us. They were also very friendly with our 6 year old. We went to a few of the restaurants that they had on the resort. Specifically the service at Santa Fe was excellent. Jorge was our service and while being extremely busy was very attentive to our table. We also enjoyed Mare Notsrum. The service there was also phenomenal.

It is a wonderful place to visit. The food is very good. The servers take good care of you and are very kind. They know that you are here on vacation and are happy to treat you that way. The grounds are beautiful and a joy to relax and have fun on. Also shoutout to Aureliano at the Grill Palmerae who was very attentive and kind to me!

Favorite 5-star resort in Mexico! This is my 3rd time returning to this exact resort, which says everything. I’ve stayed at the Colonial, Tropical, and Palace, and every experience has been amazing. The Palace is definitely my favorite if you want to have access to every area, though it is a bit more pricey. (But still in the affordable range) The food is incredible with so many buffets and restaurants of all cuisines that can be booked for dinner, the rooms are always clean, and the staff are all very kind and helpful. Everyone is so kind, welcoming, and attentive. Every trip here has been relaxing, fun, and worth coming back for. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at the Maya Coloniel. The hotel, seats, restaurants, and the rooms were clean and the distance to buffets, swimming pool, and entertainment from the rooms was nice and close for my toddler and I could walk to and from. Thanks to all the friendly staff and Sarahi Nahal at Tropical Buffet for the sweetest smile and a balloon for my toddler! This place is great for little kids!

We have been coming to this resort for years. It has everything you want and need at an all inclusive. Tonight, we ate a wonderful à la carte dinner at Sante Fe. Our waiter’s name was Jorge Morales and he was very good and professional. Highly recommend!
