We spent three nights here as part of our tour of Malaysia in July 2026. We stayed in a Sky Suite with a phenomenal view of the Kuala Lumpur skyline, including the Petronas Towers, KL Tower, and 108. The suite was very spacious, beautifully and modernly furnished, and always clean. We always had breakfast at the Horizon Grill, where there was a beautifully presented buffet featuring Malaysian and Western dishes. In addition, you could order various dishes from the extensive breakfast menu. The highlight is the restaurant’s terrace, which also offers a wonderful view of the city. Another nice touch was that I received a small cupcake with candles in the morning along with a little serenade for my birthday. Thanks again. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to use the beautiful pool because we had a packed schedule of excursions and sightseeing :-). But it would have been worth taking a dip. The only downside was that we unfortunately couldn’t all enjoy the rooftop bar together, since our daughter is only 11 and admission there is restricted to those 21 and older. So I ended up going up to “Vertigo”—which is very chic—alone for a drink and a snack, and both were excellent. The entire staff was always very courteous and helpful. It was a very successful stay.

I had an amazing four-night stay at Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur as a female solo traveller! From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. Every member of staff was friendly, welcoming and genuinely went out of their way to make sure I had a great stay. As someone with multiple food allergies, I was especially impressed by how well the hotel communicated my dietary requirements across every department. I stayed in the Signature Banyan Retreat room on the 56th floor, which was spacious, beautifully designed and had incredible views over Kuala Lumpur. The evening turndown service, spa-like scent throughout the hotel and thoughtful little touches made the experience extra special. The location is fantastic too. Being connected to Pavilion Kuala Lumpur made it incredibly easy to explore the city on foot. I'd happily stay here again and would highly recommend Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur to anyone looking for a luxury stay with outstanding service.

This hotel is REALLY good and might just have the best location of any building in town - connected by elevated air conditioned walkway to the Pavilion Mall AND Suria KLCC and many other spots along the way, plus it’s a 900 meter walk to TRX - and a much shorter walk to two underground MRT stations. Check-in was superb and Mr Dev is a true star and epitomises the Banyan Tree Culture. But all staff are super friendly and make you feel especially welcome, from the moment the crew greet you as you walk in the door to your check-in 53 floors above. Breakfast at Horizon Grill capably led by the super fit Chef Francesco and team, might just offer the best restaurant view and breakfast experience in town, and the Torito Peruvian restaurant under the stewardship of Chef Sergio and Manager Paolo absolutely ROCKs!!! Best kept dining secret in town. And if you want some of the very best views in town, Horizon Grill and Vertigo and Vertigo TWO rooftop bars are at the very cutting edge of things to visit in KL. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. The massive overhead rainshower ROCKS - Massive with many different flow styles and even LED lighting. One maintenance tip though (as I have a similar one at home). Maintenance need to descale the shower head nozels every 6 months with a toothpick to break-down the calcium deposits and ensure straight down water flow (not the zigzag all over the place water streams as pictured). These are not becoming of a fine hotel as this. BTKL is very calming and when you are up there (our room was on level 56) it is truly an oasis of tranquility in the sky, overlooking the hussle and bustle of Bukit Bintang which really seems like a world away. BTKL is classy, calmingly friendly and elegant. GM Mr. Rudy and Mr. Filippo - you are doing a very FINE job.

I stayed here in February 2026, but I would still like to share my memorable experience. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the city, making it easy to get around. Just across the street then you will find plenty of shopping options, restaurants, and local attractions within walking distance. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. The variety and quality of the food were excellent. I would especially like to thank Khun FA, who provided outstanding service throughout my stay. She was always attentive, friendly, and welcoming, making every morning even more enjoyable. Although some time has passed since my visit, the wonderful hospitality and positive experience remain unforgettable.

Wonderful place for a staycation, came here to celebrate my birthday 🎈 Excellent rooms and such friendly and attentive staff, who truly made us feel welcome and made sure we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was probably one of the best I've ever had, great selection of different food options and awesome view overlooking the city of KL. Also, worth checking out the rooftop bar at night, decent drinks but the view is amazing and good vibes for sure ✨ I can warmly recommend the Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur, great for staycays and special occasions as well as a nice spot for a city retreat 🖤
