A wonderful hotel! Beautifully renovated, the rooms are very comfortable. Beautiful pools, well-equipped gym. The additional activities are very interesting; I'll remember how to make a mojito after Mr. Sidney's training! Definitely a premium experience. The New Year's Eve dinner was also a big surprise; it exceeded our expectations – lobster, a selection of caviar, seafood, and many types of shells. The only thing I would add is the ability to make your own coffee and tea at breakfast. The staff was very helpful, but they get very busy during the breakfast rush, and it would be easier to bring my own. Overall, you can feel the effort put into this place, and I'll gladly recommend it to friends. As a cat lover, it was nice to see well-groomed and sterilized cats.

Just had 5 days at the resort and it is stunning after the refurbishment they’ve done. Entertainment staff were great, as were most of the hotel staff, although getting served drink at meal times seemed to be hit and miss. There just seemed to be not enough staff even though the hotel is still quite quiet. To note, when I booked it said there were 4 restaurants of which 2 are à la carte and only included on stays of a week. There is in fact only 3 restaurants including the 2 à la carte so therefore we only had the one buffet the entire week. Food was good quality and no complaints but would have been good if one reservation had been included as we were staying over half a week. Pool area is stunning and the Bali beds are very comfy. Would definitely come back as had a lovely time.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and overall really enjoyed our time there. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well looked after, the cleaning staff did a great job every day. The gym was a big highlight for me. Honestly, it’s one of the best hotel gyms I’ve ever used. It had everything: lots of weights, a Smith machine, several weight machines, and plenty of cardio equipment. Perfect for keeping up with workouts. Entertainment was okay. The staff really tried, but guests didn’t seem very responsive most of the time. I did have a couple of private SUP yoga sessions though, and those were a lot of fun. The food was good, always fresh, and neither of us had any stomach issues all week, which is a big plus. Since we were club members, we also had access to snacks and a good selection of drinks throughout the day, which we appreciated. The only real downside for me was the new bracelet system. When you arrive, you get a bracelet that acts as your room key. But using it can be awkward. To get into the club pool area, you have to angle your wrist in a very uncomfortable way for the gate to scan it. And when you order a drink in the restaurant, the staff need to scan your bracelet, mess around with the tablet, sometimes scan again, and then you have to sign on the screen. It can take 2–3 minutes just to order a simple drink, which gets a bit annoying when you’re trying to enjoy a meal. Also, the music by the pool and in the restaurant wasn’t really to my taste. After days of nonstop jazz, I think I’ve had enough to last me for a while! Overall, we did have a lovely stay, great room, great gym, good food, but improving the bracelet system (and maybe switching up the music a bit) would make the experience even better.

OVERALL IMPRESSION The hotel has clearly invested a lot of money in renovation and design. Common areas look expensive and modern. However, the priorities feel wrong. Basic comfort has been neglected. Sleep quality is poor and dominates the experience. The mattresses are very hard and have no topper. You sleep directly on the base mattress, which is not intended to be slept on without a topper. Blankets are thin and low quality. Bed linen feels rough and cheap. In winter, cold rooms make this even worse. PRICING AND DISCOUNT The hotel advertises a 40 to 50 percent discount. This sounds attractive. The problem is the reference price. It is not a real market price. The normal price is higher than comparable five star luxury hotels in Tenerife. At that level the hotel would not sell rooms. This makes the discount misleading. It is not a real saving. It is a marketing construction. You are not getting a luxury hotel at half price. You are paying a normal price for a hotel priced unrealistically high on paper. ROOMS AND TEMPERATURE The most expensive club level rooms are the coldest. They never get sun on the balcony or inside the room. In winter this matters. The rooms feel cold and uninviting. The hotel does not provide heating or portable heaters. FOOD AND DINING Food quality is basic. Nothing stands out. With half board you have to pay extra for water at dinner. This feels unreasonable. OTHER ISSUES Location is not great. Internet is slow. A 500 EUR deposit is required on arrival. This is not clearly communicated during booking. WHAT WORKS WELL The gym is outstanding. Best hotel gym in Tenerife. Clearly better than other four and five star hotels. Common areas and rooms are well designed. Interior and furniture choices are good. CONCLUSION Luxury starts with sleep quality. This hotel fails at that. Without proper beds, bedding, and heating, the concept does not work. No amount of design can compensate for poor sleep.
