Hotel was amazing and within walking distance to local amenities and beaches. Staff were exceptional and always went the extra mile to help us. Didn't see the cleaners to thank them for keeping room to a very high standard they were brilliant. Food was good and had a very good variety I thought. All in all a very good and well recommended hotel. Will be staying again if we return to tenerife. A big thankyou to all the staff for making our stay memorable.

My family of three stayed at BLUESEA Lagos de Cesar for one week in a Junior Suite with Sea View on an All Inclusive basis. The location is good, with the beach only a 10-minute walk away, but unfortunately that is where the positives end. This hotel advertises itself as a 4-star hotel, but after staying in many hotels and All Inclusive resorts, I would rate it 2 stars at most. The food was extremely repetitive and of poor quality. Every day there were almost the same dishes: chips, pasta, rice and very little choice. Dirty plates and glasses were a daily problem, and we even found flies in the sauce containers. Housekeeping was unacceptable. I even left a tip, but the rubbish wasn’t removed, the floors weren’t cleaned, the beds weren’t properly made and the balcony remained dirty throughout our stay. The All Inclusive system was very disappointing. Guests must pay a €1 deposit for a plastic cup before they can even get a drink. If you wanted to change from beer to water or another drink, the staff would not replace or even rinse the cup. I had to take it back to my room, wash it myself and then return to the bar. I have never experienced anything like this in any All Inclusive hotel. The cocktail selection was extremely limited and staff would not prepare other cocktails, even if we offered to pay. The room key cards constantly stopped working. We had to visit reception several times because the cards kept becoming deactivated, even when they had not been kept near our phones. Entertainment was almost non-existent. During the day there was only water aerobics once or twice. In the evenings there was almost nothing apart from karaoke on one night. The lounge area was extremely hot because the air conditioning and fans were switched off, making it uncomfortable to sit there. The bar service was also very slow, even when people were waiting. Communication was another issue. The hotel website states that staff speak English and German, but during our stay almost everyone spoke only Spanish. There was also confusion over the towel policy. We paid a €30 deposit for three towels. One day they were exchanged free of charge, and the next day another member of staff demanded €1 per towel. Only after I questioned this did they agree to exchange them without charging. Overall, this hotel does not meet the standards expected of a 4-star All Inclusive resort. I would not return and would not recommend it.

The worst hotel experience I have ever had. I stayed at BLUESEA Lagos de Cesar for 10 days, and this was by far one of the most disappointing holidays I have ever had. The hotel is extremely outdated and poorly maintained. The rooms are old, the water pressure is almost non-existent, and hot water is unreliable — sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Basic guest services that you would expect from a hotel are simply not available, such as ironing service or even regular changing of bed linen. The food quality was unacceptable. The choice was very limited, the tomatoes were rotten, there was hair in the dining area, and the cutlery was often dirty. The hygiene standards in the restaurant were shocking. When problems were reported, the staff were not helpful and did not make any real effort to resolve the issues. The level of customer service was extremely disappointing. The pool opening hours are also inconvenient (only from 10:00 to 19:00). Guests are charged €1 for a plastic cup and are expected to carry it everywhere to get drinks. If you lose the cup or forget it, you have to pay another €1. This hotel completely ruined my holiday. I came here expecting a relaxing 10-day stay and instead left feeling frustrated and disappointed. Thank you, BLUESEA Lagos de Cesar, for a holiday I will unfortunately never forget — for all the wrong reasons. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel.

Room had some small defects however was easy to overlook with the amenities and views that the hotel has to offer. The buffet was also quite surprising as the food was great every day, and I would only mark it down a little as the food was barely hot. The staff were amazing, all of them being very friendly and helpful and going out of their way to help, alongside hosting multiple activities so there was always something going on. Would definately stay here again!

I did a review whilst out there as was a little fed up with the food choice plans it being cold despite their efforts of keeping it all warm. But we decided we would go back there we loved the area and the hotel served its purpose the rooms were spacious and clean the staff were friendly and kept the hotel very clean. Found some lovely places to eat out within a very short walking distance. Little things on arrival we weren’t told about like the hire of towels for the pool only found out 2 days before we flew back but all in all a lovely week away in the sun
