We had a good stay overall, but I wouldn’t consider this a true 5-star all-inclusive resort. The biggest highlight is the staff. Everyone at the front desk, housekeeping, transportation, and the restaurant servers was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. The rooms were clean, and the transportation around the resort was excellent and very convenient. The biggest disappointment was the food. The quality was average, and after 11:00 p.m. there are almost no dining options. Only a small selection of low-quality snacks (about 5–7 items) is available late at night. Even in the lobby, the coffee machines and drinking water are removed after 11:00 p.m., which is not what I would expect from an all-inclusive resort. The buffet is also disappointing because when a food item runs out, it often isn’t refilled. The à la carte restaurants cannot be reserved in advance. They open from 5:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., operate on a first-come, first-served basis, and have limited menu options. Overall, I would rate this resort 4 out of 5 stars. The excellent staff and clean facilities made our stay enjoyable, but the food quality and limited dining options prevent it from feeling like a true 5-star all-inclusive experience.

Rooms excellent. Service excellent. Food average at best. Breakfast - too much waiting for freshly cooked items. The a la Carte restaurants are top class and the service is so professional. Nothing is too much trouble and the waiters are so polite and can't do enough for their guests. I WOULD LIKE TO THANK ONE MEMBER OF STAFF ESPECIALLY. MATEO on the guest services desk has been so helpful in trying to arrange a la carte restaurants for us. He has gone above and beyond and his courtesy and attention towards us has been wonderful. Thank you Mateo from the Thomson, Finnegan and McManus families.

Our stay at Bahia Principe Grand Tulum was absolutely wonderful and exceeded our expectations. The resort is beautiful, well-maintained, and offers a fantastic vacation experience for families and couples alike. What truly made our stay exceptional was the outstanding service from the staff. A special thank you to Lino at reception, who was incredibly welcoming, professional, and always willing to help with any request. His friendliness and attention to detail made us feel valued from the moment we arrived. We would also like to recognize Eduardo for his exceptional hospitality and dedication to ensuring guests had a memorable experience. His positive attitude and genuine care did not go unnoticed. A huge compliment goes to Chef Tony, whose culinary skills were outstanding. Every meal was delicious, beautifully prepared, and showcased great attention to quality and flavor. The service throughout the resort was excellent, thanks to the amazing waitstaff, especially Saul, Daniel, and Francisco. They were attentive, friendly, hardworking, and always made dining a pleasant experience with their warm smiles and excellent service. The entire team helped create unforgettable memories for our family, and we are grateful for their dedication and professionalism. We highly recommend Bahia Principe Grand Tulum and look forward to returning in the future.

We have enjoyed being here on a family vacation! Your vacation is what you make of it. If you want to be mad and grumpy…you will find a way. If you want to enjoy a time to shut off the hustle and bustle of the world you will find a way. The a la cart restaurants are the hardest part to manage. The app is good, but we are a family of 7 in two separate rooms. In the app you cant do that. You can invite another room to your reservation, but it counts as 1 for each room. However, we booked only four seats and went with 7…the staff made it work and it was great. Didn’t expect us all to get in…but we did. Be kind, be patient, be rewarded. We had a meal at Don Pablo and we're served by Gamriel- Mr G. The atmosphere, service and food were all outstanding. The food was cooked perfectly and the flavour combinations were incredible. I don't know where to start with the service. Mr G was warm, attentive and couldn't do enough for us, while also being extrmely professional and formal. He really made our evening feel special and magical Thankyou so much.
