We had a wonderfully relaxing 1 week vacation. We arrived late at night and after checking in, Jesus took us and our luggage to our room. As we had missed dinner he waited to take us to the late night snack bar and arranged to take us back to our room after. On our first day a lovely lady on the concierge desk helped us book 2 a la carte restuarants; Gourmet Don Pablo & Hindu Thali. Our waiter, Gamaliel, at Don Pablo was so friendly, efficient and attentive. He made our evening feel very special and also offered to book us in for a 2nd evening as all other a la cartes were full. The main buffet had a huge variety of meals to choose from and the lobby bar served coffee and pastries if you just wanted something small. We found our favourite spot near the quiet pool just past the Tequila Restaurant, the beach is beautiful with lots of marked turtle nests. There were lots of daily activities if you wanted and plenty of quiet spots if you just wanted to relax. No problems finding a lounger or some shade. Evening entertainment was great and wrapped up around 9pm, great for families with smaller children. Further entertainment was available later at the Hacienda, just a short walk or trolly ride away. Overall the resort is very well run, great friendly staff, clean and lots to do. We would definitely go again!

Edwin and Lydia made us feel truly at home—more like family than guests. Their warm smiles, thoughtful attention, and genuine care transformed every meal into something special. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and their kindness made our trip unforgettable. It’s rare to find service this heartfelt and consistent. Edwin and Lydia didn’t just enhance our dining experience—they elevated it beyond anything we could imagine. We can’t thank them enough and will absolutely be returning. Highly recommended!

Amazing Stay at Bahia Principe Grand Tulum!! We had an absolutely wonderful trip at Bahia Principe Grand Tulum! One of the biggest reasons our stay was so memorable was the incredible staff who made everyday special for our family. A huge thank-you to Adan and Daniel at the Yucatán Buffet their warm smiles, attention to detail, and fantastic service made our breakfasts and lunches unforgettable! We truly looked forward to seeing them each day. We also want to highlight José and Adeil at the Truck Bar, who delivered outstanding service and created such a fun, welcoming atmosphere. Grabbing drink with them was always a blast! Beyond the amazing team, the resort itself is beautiful, relaxing, and full of great amenities. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we couldn't have asked for a better family vacation. We can't wait to return!

Nice resort. We have been several times over the last 18 years. Quality started to slide until the big renovation through Covid. After the renovation it was excellent, everything was new and good was amazing. It’s been a few years since their big renovation and things are starting to deteriorate again with the food quality and maintenance. The service however has never changed which is part of why we always come back. Staff are friendly and extremely helpful. It’s a good resort for kids and families (all ages). Always something to do. Not overly crowded, but could be because of the economy (came at end of November 2025).

The staff is so friendly, always with smile on their faces, the food is so delicious. I want give special shout out to the amazing teams at kids club and teen club for their wonderful job and taking such good care of our kids. My kids had the best time there. Thank you so much to Adriana, Guillermo, Angel,Montse, Itzamaray, Kasandra and Ana from Kids Club and Thank you Carlos from Teen Club. For give my kids amazing time! Aissa and Mariama enjoyed every second of their time there.we will be definitely coming back soon.
