This place is fantastic! From the food to views it’s spectacular! What impressed me the most was the staff, everyone seemed so passionate about their work and eager to help. Especially Gio/Giobellis she is multi talented, from the way she danced for so long with so much energy while leading the pool dance. To the way she switched from English to Spanish effortlessly whilst she was leading the trivia. When leading trivia she brings her own special style and vibe. In my life I have travelled to over 15 countries and I’ve never seen someone so hardworking, energetic, multi talented , and passionate. She should be hosting all the digit bar activities!

We had an overall great stay at AVA and really enjoyed the resort. The property is beautiful, the staff was consistently friendly, and several of the restaurants provided exceptional service. While the service varied a bit depending on the restaurant, the best experiences were truly excellent. A special thank you to John at checkout. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful. He made the checkout process smooth and left us with a great final impression of the resort. The only disappointment was a billing issue. Before another guest joined our room after one person in our reservation had already left, I called the resort and also confirmed again at check-in that there would be no additional charge. Despite being told twice that we would not be charged, we were later billed $570. It was frustrating because we relied on the information provided by the resort. I hope AVA improves communication between departments and ensures billing information given to guests is accurate. Aside from that issue, we had a wonderful vacation and would consider returning.

Ava Cancun is a great resort and a must visit in Cancun. It's close to the airport but feels like you're totally separate from the world - it is its own mini city! We stayed for a week and loved every minute of it. The food is great and the service is impeccable, especially the poolside service. All the servers are kind, helpful, and very attentive. The nightly shows are very entertaining and great for the whole family. We especially loved the magician and the LED show. Everyday at 2pm I took part in the poolside art classes and they were a great way to get out of the sun for a bit while creating a memorable souvenir. Honourable mention to the entertainment staff, I don't know all their names but huge shout-out to Samantha who is truly an ANGEL! Myself and my kids love her. She really made our stay memorable. We also love Tony, Issac, and Alex. I'm sorry if I didn't mention everyone's name but they are an amazing team! Anyways, of you're looking for a hotel in Cancun, Ava is IT! You won't regret it.

Our first impression of AVA Resort Cancun has been amazing! The property is absolutely enormous, beautifully designed, and incredibly relaxing. For our first night, we had dinner at BAO, and it was the perfect way to start our vacation. A huge thank you to our wonderful butlers, Estefania and Abraham, for arranging our reservation and making everything seamless. Our server at BAO - Joel, provided exceptional service—attentive, friendly, and truly made our dining experience unforgettable. We’ll definitely be coming back, and we’ll be looking for Joel again! Highly recommend both the resort and BAO for an outstanding experience.

The resort overall is great! There are a lot of pros with some cons. The pros: the facility is clean, overall nice staff, everything being in the main building is a plus, very modern, and the food is good. We tried Livo, Kita, and black iron and the food was good and their staff was goos too, bonus the aesthetic is very nice and thoughtful. Aroma cafe was a favorite too, very convenient. The ice cream shop is a nice addition too, and it is aesthetically nice as well. The cons: - The room's bathroom is ok but could be better (more modern and upgraded) - THE FAMILY POOL was our main disappointment, since the beach is bad it is expected everyone to be at the pool, however the family pool gets congested so fast, it's not fun after like 10 or 11am. The other pools are either for legends members or adult only, and then there is the huge bay in the middle, which i found very underwhelming and unnecessary, i wish it would be turned into a big family pool instead. - I wish there were chairs on the balcony instead of the couch. - The buffet is good overall, one downside is the pastas, they are always very watery. I think thats the only thing that needs improvement. Must try: Copal tacos Paninis at Aroma Ice lattes at Aroma Hot dogs at lunch buffet Steak house spaghetti at Black Iron Beef empanadas at Black Iron Carrot cake at Aroma Ice cream at konos Dessert at Livo
