Highly recommend Almare if you are looking for a quieter more intimate adults only resort. The property is a little on the smaller side, but it works well with significantly less people than larger resorts. Food options were pretty solid, however sometimes I would have liked one more unique lunch or dinner option now and again. That said the food was great, and meals never felt rushed, nor felt like dinning in a packed room. That alone was amazing. My biggest praise goes to several of the staff who went above and beyond for us the entire trip. I have to shout out Claudia, Omar, and Karen as some of the sweetest and most attentive people we had the privilege of meeting during our stay.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Almare Resort. We loved that it’s a smaller, boutique-style resort with only about 90 rooms. It never felt crowded, and there were so many beautiful places to relax with a cup of coffee, read a book, or simply unwind while enjoying the incredible views. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for something special. The general manager and the chef greeted us at the dock, which was such a thoughtful and memorable welcome. The food was outstanding—creative, beautifully presented, and consistently delicious. I’ve stayed at Grand Velas in Mexico, which is widely considered one of the finest all-inclusive resorts in the world, and I honestly felt that Almare offered even better, more personalized service and more creative cuisine. The drinks were excellent, and we never had to wait. The entire resort was spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly peaceful. One of the highlights of our trip was getting to know many of the staff. Everyone was genuinely kind, friendly, and seemed to truly care that every guest had an exceptional experience. You can tell this resort is exceptionally well managed. Every detail is thoughtfully handled, and the team doesn’t miss a beat. If you’re looking for a relaxing, adults-only all-inclusive resort with outstanding service, incredible food, and a tranquil atmosphere, I highly recommend Almare. We truly enjoyed every minute of our stay and can’t wait to return.

We’ve been to isla Mujeres many times over the years, but have never stayed at Almare. We haven’t been super fond of all-inclusive resorts in the past, but are so happy we gave this one a try. We will definitely go back many times. The beach was beautiful. The food could not have been better. Every single thing we tried, which was most of it was perfect, The drinks were not watered down. The staff Claudia, Karen, Chardonnay.(Which isn’t actually that, but it sounds like it) And David and Eddie were top-notch! Karyn even showed my husband how to fold the towels in that pretty little roll up. We can’t wait to go back!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at Almare Hotel Isla Mujeres was absolutely amazing. We recommend this hotel 100%! The property is spotless, the staff is incredible, and the customer service is truly outstanding. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. The food was absolutely delicious, with great quality and plenty of variety. Would we come back? Absolutely, without a doubt! If you’re thinking about staying here, make sure to stop by Alvento Bar and ask for Karen. She gave us the best service we received during our trip. She is such a warm, kind, and genuine person who made us feel right at home. We already miss her! Thank you, Karen, for making our vacation even more special.
