From the moment I arrived, the staff were very welcoming. I also received a free room upgrade, which made my stay even better. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of fresh and healthy choices. Everything was tasty and nicely presented. One of the best things about the hotel is its peaceful location. Surrounded by nature and away from the crowds, it was a relaxing place to stay while still being close to Ubud. The great service, good food, and quiet surroundings made this a memorable stay. I highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.

We stayed at Alila Ubud to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday, and without a doubt, it was the best hotel experience we have ever had. We travel extensively and have stayed at some of the world’s most renowned luxury hotels, including Four Seasons properties and exceptional boutique hotels. Yet Alila Ubud surpassed all of them when it comes to the overall guest experience. From the very beginning, the pre-arrival assistance via email and WhatsApp was outstanding. The team helped us organize several birthday surprises, and their responsiveness, attention to detail, and genuine enthusiasm were instrumental in making this celebration so special. Even before arriving, we knew we were in excellent hands. The resort itself is absolutely breathtaking. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by a stunning sunset, surrounded by the sounds of nature and the lush jungle landscape. The atmosphere was magical from the very first moment. The infinity pool is, without question, the most beautiful pool we have ever seen. Floating above the valley with spectacular views of the jungle, it feels almost surreal. Pictures simply do not do it justice. We stayed in a Valley Villa, and it truly felt like living in the heart of the Ubud jungle. Waking up surrounded by nature every morning was an unforgettable experience. What truly sets Alila Ubud apart, however, is its people. Every single team member was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. No request was ever too much, and everything we asked for was taken care of within minutes. Their level of hospitality is simply exceptional. The birthday surprises we arranged before our stay turned out to be even more beautiful than we had imagined. The private candlelit dinner overlooking the valley was absolutely magical. We were also welcomed with beautifully hand-carved coconuts featuring a birthday message, a thoughtful and unique touch that we loved. The most emotional moment came at midnight, when members of the staff came to our villa to sing Happy Birthday. It was such a heartfelt gesture, and it made my boyfriend incredibly happy. It is a memory we will cherish forever. The food was another highlight of our stay. As Italians, we are usually quite demanding when it comes to food, and we honestly did not expect to be so impressed. Every meal exceeded our expectations. The quality of the ingredients, the flavors, and the execution were outstanding. We genuinely enjoyed everything we tried. Breakfast was fantastic, not only because of the delicious selection but also because of the incredible setting overlooking the jungle. Starting each day with that view was simply unforgettable. The spa is another gem of the resort. Surrounded by greenery and perfectly integrated into the natural environment, it offers a truly relaxing experience. The therapists are incredibly skilled, and we can confidently say that the massage we received was the best we have ever had. The overall organization of the resort is flawless. Every detail is thoughtfully planned, and everything runs smoothly, creating a seamless and luxurious experience from start to finish. A heartfelt thank you to the entire Alila Ubud team for making this stay so extraordinary. We would especially like to thank Agung, Tomv, Yuni, Nova, Darmaja, Tomy, and Utami for their kindness, professionalism, and dedication. A wonderful 5-star experience at Alila Ubud. The hotel is beautiful and truly feels like being in the middle of the jungle, surrounded by nature and peace. The infinity pool is absolutely fantastic and one of the highlights of the property. Breakfast was excellent, with a great variety and different options changing every day, which kept it fresh and enjoyable throughout our stay. The staff were lovely, incredibly welcoming, and always attentive. A fun bonus is that monkeys are everywhere around the resort, which adds to the unique jungle atmosphere. Overall, a very relaxing and special stay — highly recommended if you want a luxury nature escape in Bali.

I had the most wonderful stay at Alila Ubud. The hotel is a ~2 hour drive from the airport, but easy to reach via ride share or hotel arranged transfer. Being at the hotel truly feels like you are a world away. It’s peaceful and calm and the moment we walked into the hotel we felt taken care of. The rooms and property is nice, but what set this hotel apart is the service. The employees are all incredibly friendly and remember your name and face and are so helpful. I loved the morning activities, poolside relaxation, and hotel arranged excursions. The therapeutic massage at the spa was also wonderful. I can’t wait to return!
