We absolutely loved our stay here. It was our first time being away for Christmas and we had the best time! The location speaks for itself - if you’re a car lover and car noises are like the sound of music to you, you’ll love it! The room was spacious with a great view of the track, and the cleaning was to a high standard. But, what made it all the more special, was the service. When we were in the hotel, we spent most of our time on the Wet Deck (rooftop bar & pool on Floor 9) and the attentiveness, the friendliness and the professionalism meant we could not ask for more. A very special shout out to the Wet Deck Team: Roshan, Animesh, Eric, Chie, Joshua, Neeyas, Neha, Brandon & Otymane. An outstanding team, who went the extra mile to make our stay so wonderful. Also a shout out to Saiful, one of the waiters at breakfast and the team in the W Lounge - Jo, Sanjan, Levie, Nan, Mimi, Martina, Daniel, Nikki, Jaimie and Dheeraj who also all went out of their way for us. W - you should be proud of your entire team. There were so many others we didn’t get names of. A huge thank you to you all. We’d highly recommend staying with you to all our family and friends.x

An unforgettable New Year’s Eve at W Abu Dhabi Spending New Year’s Eve at W Abu Dhabi was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I arrived, the energy, elegance, and attention to detail were on another level. The atmosphere was vibrant yet sophisticated, perfectly capturing the excitement of welcoming a new year. The views of the fireworks were breathtaking, the décor was stunning, and the entire experience felt thoughtfully curated — luxurious without feeling forced. The staff were exceptional: warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making the night memorable. Every interaction felt effortless and welcoming. The music, ambiance, and overall vibe made the celebration feel exclusive and magical. It was the kind of night that stays with you — joyful, glamorous, and beautifully executed.

An Architectural Marvel with Impeccable Family Hospitality My wife, our toddler, and I recently spent 5 days at the W Abu Dhabi - Yas Island, and it was nothing short of spectacular. While the hotel is famous for its high-octane vibe and location right on the F1 circuit, I was pleasantly surprised by how wonderfully they catered to a young family. The Vibe: The architecture is stunning—the "Grid Shell" LED canopy at night is mesmerizing. It feels incredibly modern and premium, exactly the kind of place where you want to dress up and enjoy the atmosphere. The Room: We opted for a track-view room. Watching the cars on the circuit was a highlight, but the soundproofing is excellent; once the balcony door is closed, it’s a sanctuary of silence—perfect for our toddler’s naps. The beds are famously comfortable. Service: This is where the W truly shone. Traveling with a toddler can be stressful, but the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, not just tolerated. From the concierge to the restaurant staff at Garage, everyone engaged with our little one warmly. Amenities: We loved that there are two distinct pool areas. The 'Sun Deck' allowed us to relax with our child without worrying about disturbing the party vibe at the adult-only 'Wet Deck.' The location is also unbeatable—minutes away from SeaWorld and Warner Bros World, which made our itinerary very easy. A truly 5-star experience that balances "cool" with "comfort." We will definitely be back.

I recently stayed at W Yas Island Abu Dhabi and unfortunately it did not meet the luxurious standard I was expecting. The hotel looks incredibly unique and impressive from the outside, but the interior didn’t feel as high end. The room itself was spacious, however our balcony view was obstructed, which was disappointing for the price point. Throughout the stay, I had to call Whenever/Whatever multiple times for very basic items, and either the delivery took forever or it was completely forgotten. I had to request a simple dental kit three separate times before receiving it. Breakfast was also not the experience I anticipated for a hotel of this level guests were coming in wearing hotel room slippers, which felt out of place. As a Gold member, I received an email before check-in asking whether I wanted chocolate, red velvet cake, or a fruit platter as a welcome amenity. I requested the fruit platter, but was given chocolate instead (which I couldn’t even eat). When I called to correct it, I was told they can only send an amenity “one time,” even though I wasn’t asking for anything additional just the item I had originally selected. Overall, the service and attention to detail didn’t match the luxury branding of the hotel, and I left feeling quite disappointed.

I’m still shocked as I write my review. We booked our stay for the weekend and aside from it being busy it seemed like the staff had no idea what they were doing or how to handle anything. The only redeemable person was Omar who worked at the check in. Breakfast was super chaotic; long lines with people cutting in front of you and the staff not able to handle the situation at all and once you made it inside the restaurant you realize there were many empty tables. Multiple wrong orders even though they have cards for you to fill out with table numbers. They have an “elite” area for platinum members but no kids allowed; absolutely ridiculous. So many staff but no coherence at all. We asked for an outdoor heater to be moved next to our table with three little kids all under 8 as it was pretty cold in the evening and the staff told us there was no more propane so he can’t bring us one. So we told them there’s one just nearby that he can move over and he refused to move it and told us that’s only for the a la carte customers. What an absolute shame so we just left. I can’t believe they kept telling us the W stood for warm, welcoming and witty, more like an absolute wreck. There’s a kids club with a 2 hour per day limit which is honestly optically nice but a bit dirty. The hotel itself is so beautiful with amazing views and the rooms are impeccable but the service, minus the housekeeping staff who are very kind, is an absolute disaster; It just left us so disappointed, definitely not coming back.
