Overall, our stay was okay, mainly thanks to the staff, who were always very friendly and helpful. However, there were several issues that made the experience disappointing. One thing we really dislike in this region is that smoking indoors still seems very common. We specifically requested a non-smoking room, and while the room itself was provided as requested, the corridors constantly smelled very strongly of smoke, often mixed with housekeeping cleaning products, which was quite unpleasant. The building is also quite old. The rooms have been maintained reasonably well, but cleanliness could definitely be improved as you can tell deep cleaning is lacking in some areas. We chose this hotel partly because of the beach access, hoping to enjoy the beach in the evenings, but access closes around 6pm, so there was not much point for us in the end. Breakfast was okay, but the menu was exactly the same every single day, which became repetitive during a one-week stay. The most concerning part of our stay was finding a piece of broken glass inside one of the juice glasses at breakfast. Thankfully, my husband noticed before swallowing it, but it was very alarming. After that incident, we avoided the juice for a couple of days and became extra careful with everything served. Unfortunately, despite the kind staff, we do not feel the facilities and overall experience justify the price. We would not stay here again, and honestly, one week felt far too long.

From check-in to checkout, this stay was a consistent exercise in frustration. A 2–3 hour wait at check-in with no clear communication or apology set the tone immediately. The staff appeared undertrained and unsure of basic processes , not what you expect from a Marriott-branded property at this price point. Breakfast was equally chaotic. A 30-minute wait just to be seated is unacceptable for a hotel of this standing. Dinner was worse ,popular dishes were cleared out within the first hour of service, with no effort to replenish. Guests arriving at a reasonable hour were left with slim pickings. The mismanagement felt systemic, not situational. These aren't one-off bad days ,they point to deeper issues with staffing, training, and operational oversight. Le Méridien carries a legacy of hospitality excellence. This property is falling well short of that standard. Would not recommend until significant improvements are made.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for relaxation. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the professionalism, hospitality, and outstanding level of service provided by the entire team. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and efficient, making every part of my stay smooth and enjoyable. A special thank you for the complimentary room upgrade from a city-view room to a stunning sea-view room. The breathtaking view added a wonderful touch to my experience and made my stay even more enjoyable. The in-room dining service was excellent, with delicious food, great presentation, and prompt delivery. Every meal exceeded my expectations in both quality and taste. I would also like to thank the hotel for the generous member discounts and exclusive benefits, which made the experience even more rewarding. Overall, this hotel offers a perfect combination of luxury, comfort, tranquility, and world-class service. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and unforgettable stay. I look forward to returning again very soon.

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better stay at Le Méridien Abu Dhabi—it exceeded our expectations in the best way possible, and we’re so grateful for the experience. From the moment we arrived, everything just felt easy and welcoming. The team was incredibly friendly and genuinely helpful throughout our stay, always going out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Their warmth really made a difference. We were especially thankful for the early check-in and late check-out, which made our trip so much more relaxed and enjoyable. It gave us extra time to settle in and make the most of everything without feeling rushed. The biggest highlight for us was celebrating a birthday there. The staff made it so special and memorable—it wasn’t just a small gesture, it truly felt like they cared and wanted us to have an amazing time. And the food… absolutely delicious. Every meal we had was full of flavor and clearly prepared with care. We would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Abu Dhabi. It’s one of those places that leaves you with great memories, and we’re really thankful to the whole team for making our stay so special.

The hotel team was incredibly welcoming and professional, and many of our guests specifically complimented the warm hospitality. The food was also exceptional — a highlight for many attendees. The level of organization and support we received made a huge difference in the success of our event. Everything ran smoothly, and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team.
