Obsessed with this place is an understatement! Food and restaurant options were amazing, even my gluten-free boyfriend had a lot to choose from. The staff is friendly and kind, and the cleanliness is perfect. I love the turn down service every evening. We had a personal concierge upon arrival who helped with dinner reservations (although I’d recommend making those before you arrive if possible). The pools were stunning and separated into “party pool” and “quiet pool” for different vibes. Really nice landscape ☺️ but note! Adults only.

We had a wonderful trip to celebrate a dear friend’s wedding at Unico. The resort and staff were wonderful to our entire group. We loved starting our day at breakfast being cared for by Astrid at 20 87, she really got to know us and knew how to make us feel at home. Annette & Olibert were our local hosts that made sure our family had what we needed in our rooms and that we had proper dinner reservations each evening. Our friends worked with Roger and Flores and made sure we all had spots at the pool each day! It was such a restful and relaxing trip all around. Dinners at Mi Carisa and Cueve Siete stood out for the quality and tastes with Mura House a close third!! A shout out to Jose who saw us to both of our rooms, helped us feel at ease with his friendly smile and also to Luis who cared for our large group several days at the member pool with his infectious energy and smile!!

My husband and I just came back from the most AMAZING week at Unico 2087 for our honeymoon! The pools were so relaxing, food and drinks were delicious, and our local host Karla went above and beyond to make our honeymoon special for us. She set up a special room service breakfast for my husband and I to enjoy complete with champagne, and also decorated our room with flowers and balloons and provided us with a nice bottle of wine and Mexican candies. Karla was so kind, patient, attentive to our needs, and assisted us with all of restaurant bookings and spa bookings. We absolutely would love to return to Unico and will be requesting Karla as our host again! Also special shoutout to the pool servers (Lucia and Elvira) for being so patient and attentive, as well as Carlos from Cueva Siete and Christopher from Avec. Those were by far our two favorite restaurants and their service went above and beyond. We are still reminiscing on our special week at Unico and will remember the memories for a lifetime!

Our stay at UNICO was amazing from beginning to end. The hotel is beautiful, relaxing, and the service truly made the experience unforgettable. The food, atmosphere, pools, and overall attention to detail were incredible. A special thank you to Patricia Pech, who checked on us multiple times after we received an undercooked steak to make sure we were completely satisfied with our meal. Gustavo at the front desk was also excellent and very informative throughout our stay. Olibert, our local host, was extremely helpful and attentive, and Lorena, our waitress by the pool area, was so kind and provided outstanding service as well. My husband and I absolutely loved our stay in room 8507, a one bedroom suite, 5/1-9/26. This was our 4th visit to this resort and besides the abundance of sargassum, it was great. The pools were warmer than our visits within a week or so previous years; perfect for me, but my husband prefers cooler. We took full advantage of the spa with the Mayan ritual and pedicures for us both and I indulged in the 90 minute hydrotherapy, body silhouette and 90 minute facial while my husband golfed at Hard Rock and the PGA course in Riveria Maya. One day we took a 30 minute taxi ride to the ferry and spent the day in Cozumel with plenty of time to make our pm dinner reservation. We enjoyed our dinners and breakfasts at MI Carisa the most, but every restaurant was fantastic. Our butler's, Rodrigo and Javier took care of all of our needs from dinner reservations, spa and golf reservations, pool chairs with Bali bed and cabana. They provided excellent recommendations for things to do in Cozumel and in general, helped us have a relaxing and very memorable experience. Otheniel, our waiter at Mi Carisa, made us feel like regulars! He remembered our preference, made excellent recommendations and was very fun and personable. Unico is a great place to relax, unwind, disconnect and immerse yourself into the luxuries of a fabulous resort.
