The St. Regis Le Morne Resort Mauritius

We recently stayed at The St. Regis Le Morne Resort, Mauritius and overall had a very enjoyable experience. Our room was clean, spacious, and exactly as advertised in the photos. Upon arrival, there was a slight renovation smell in the room, but after we mentioned it to the staff, they promptly provided a machine that helped eliminate the odor. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of high-quality options. The food across the hotel's restaurants was outstanding as well. One of the highlights of our stay was meeting the sous-chef, who was incredibly friendly and even offered to prepare anything we wanted, which added a very personal touch to the experience. The hotel features two pools and a beautiful beach area, both of which were enjoyable. However, there is still room for improvement in terms of service, especially considering the luxury positioning of the St. Regis brand. For example, we booked an excursion through the concierge that turned out not to be suitable for us and was stopped shortly after it began. While we fully paid for the excursion, we would have appreciated some follow-up from the concierge team to understand our experience and check whether everything was satisfactory. Overall, this is a very good option in the area, particularly given the limited number of luxury resorts nearby. We had a wonderful stay, enjoyed the food, the room, and the setting, but we believe there is still some room for improvement in order to fully meet the expectations associated with a luxury hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at The St. Regis Le Morne in early July. The service was exceptional, especially from Keertisha, who made my birthday unforgettable with a handwritten card and a specially made off‑menu lemon cake. Another butler, Sharmila, also provided excellent support throughout our stay. A small issue arose during one evening, but it was resolved quickly, and the hotel manager kindly removed the drinks from our dinner bill as compensation - a gesture we truly appreciated. The facilities were beautiful: two lovely pools, a well‑equipped gym I used daily, and a beach just moments away with free activities like kayaking, offering stunning views of Le Morne mountain. The food was consistently great, with the St. Regis Signature Burger being a standout. On a side note, I trust management gives praise to both Keertisha and Sharmila for their above and beyond assistance throughout our stay.

Our stay was truly exceptional from beginning to end. The resort itself is beautiful, and we were incredibly grateful to be upgraded to the largest room, which was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for our family. Breakfast was a highlight every morning. A special thank you to Chef Christel, who thoughtfully accommodated my dietary requirements each day. The care and attention to detail made every breakfast something we looked forward to. The butler service was outstanding. Nourseen and William went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They managed to secure a last-minute seaplane booking, allowing me to experience the breathtaking undersea waterfall from the air—a dream come true. They also arranged a wonderful babymoon celebration while carefully accommodating my dietary requests, and their thoughtful farewell gifts were a lovely surprise. Nothing ever seemed like too much trouble. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine desire to ensure we had the best possible experience made all the difference. We left with wonderful memories and are already looking forward to returning. Thank you to the entire team for such an unforgettable stay.

We had an amazing stay at The St. Regis Mauritius. The service was truly 10/10—every member of the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The hotel was spotless, the room was cleaned to a very high standard every day, the views were absolutely breathtaking, and the restaurants served delicious food with plenty of great options. A special thank you to Rikish, one of the beach staff members, who made our stay even more enjoyable. He was always attentive, friendly, and ready to help with anything needed. His kindness and positive attitude made the time at the beach even more relaxing and memorable. I highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to come back!

This fabulous hotel is outstanding due to its excellent hospitality from all staff and its delicious cuisine. A special thanks to Kanto for your brilliant customer service all throughout our stay of 5 days at this resort and chef Malik at the delicious Indya restaurant for accommodating us with the Indian cuisine. Chefs Monish khan and Premrqj Bhutto for the delicious indo Chinese cuisine at the Atsuko Floating Market Restaurant. Do make use of the excellent Spa facilities Wow! What a rejuvenating experience with Ayesha; the masseuse. Thoroughly recommend booking in advance; the whole package with her. Can say that overall it is better than my “Hanging Gardens of Bali ” spa experience! Last, but not least I have to mention the beach/ pool attendant Jordan, for the daily fresh coconuts and fabulous mocktails and snacks onthe beach and Zarah, the manager for your attention to detail to make it a beautiful holiday for my family and I.
