A truly special family holiday at Sugar Beach Right from arrival it was obvious how much the team cares. Fardeen, Head of Rooms, went above and beyond for us the whole stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he made sure every little detail was sorted before we even had to ask. A special thank you to Anuradha too. Her service was fantastic, she looked after our family personally the whole time we were there, always warm, always attentive, and somehow always a step ahead of what we needed. She made us feel completely at home. Vishal made our welcome seamless and ensured we had everything we needed from the 1st day. Down at the pool, Fazle, and the rest of the pool team kept us smiling every day with cold drinks, sorted sunbeds, and just brilliant humour. And the animation team led by Mario were a real highlight for the kids (honestly for us adults too), full of energy and so good at keeping everyone entertained. It’s the people as much as the beautiful grounds and beach that made this holiday so memorable. We felt properly looked after from start to finish and we’re already talking about when we can go back. Thank you to everyone at Sugar Beach, this is a holiday our family won’t forget.

We held our wedding here and stayed on for our honeymoon, and without a doubt, this is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. If we had to do it all over again, we wouldn't change a single detail. What made our stay unforgettable: • Wedding & Organization: The wedding organization in the resort was top-tier. The staff took care of every little detail, the service was impeccable, and we were able to fully relax and enjoy our special day completely stress-free. • Beach & Sunsets: The beach is literally picture-perfect – soft white sand and turquoise water. The sunsets we experienced here were nothing short of magical. • Food & Staff: The food was incredibly diverse, fresh, and delicious every single day. The staff is among the warmest and friendliest we've ever met; always smiling, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making you feel special. • Activities & Amenities: For those who enjoy an active holiday, the facilities are fantastic. We loved the morning yoga and the well-equipped gym. A huge bonus was the complimentary rental of water sports equipment, including kayaks, SUPs, and snorkeling gear. Sugar Beach gave us the best memories of our lives. If you are looking for the perfect venue for a wedding, a honeymoon, or a luxury getaway, look no further. About Maré Maré restaurant, Hands down, the best meal we’ve had in Mauritius since we arrived. There is honestly nothing to fault, everything was simply excellent. The setting, the food, and the service were all outstanding. The food was absolutely wonderful, and I had the best risotto I’ve ever eaten in my life! A special mention to Sandeep and Danish, who made the experience even more special with their warm, attentive and five-star service. We truly couldn’t have asked for anything better. Sugar Beach delivers a phenomenal, upscale Mauritian getaway. It would easily be a flawless 5-star experience if the dining had just a little more punch. What Makes It Special: Stellar Service: The staff is incredibly warm, attentive, and welcoming from check-in to check-out. Beautiful Rooms: Lovely, comfortable accommodations paired with gorgeous, direct sea views. Amazing Venue & Beach: The property grounds are stunning, and the beach is absolute paradise with pristine sand and clear water. The Only Opportunity: The Food: While the dining is decent, the flavors lean a bit mild and bland. A little more local culinary excitement would easily push this resort into absolute perfection. An incredible stay with world-class hospitality and views. Highly recommended!
