Disappointing Experience for Families at The Signature at MGM Grand Our recent stay at The Signature at MGM Grand in Las Vegas did not meet expectations, particularly for families traveling with young children. While the property presents itself as a luxury destination, several critical issues detracted from our experience. - Limited Accessibility and Wayfinding: The hotel’s location is difficult to navigate, with insufficient signage and unclear directions. This created unnecessary stress during arrival, especially while managing young children. - Inaccurate Room Descriptions: The unit was advertised as a “suite,” yet the layout and amenities did not reflect the quality or spaciousness typically associated with that designation. Families anticipating well-equipped accommodations may find the setup lacking. - Inadequate Housekeeping Support During Illness: When our five-year-old daughter became seriously ill, we urgently requested fresh bedding and room cleaning. We were informed that our unit (25-705), booked via the Signature MGM website, was managed by a third-party operator and therefore not eligible for housekeeping services. Despite multiple calls, we received only a sheet, mattress cover, and thin blanket. The staff member who delivered the items was the only individual who demonstrated empathy, acknowledging the discomfort and odor in the room. The presence of standard hotel phones in the unit further added to our confusion regarding the third-party arrangement. - Unprofessional Customer Service: The following day, a request for an additional blanket was denied. A representative named David responded dismissively and informed us that a blanket would incur a $65 delivery fee, with an additional $10 charge for a pillow — despite our circumstances and the room’s location on the 25th floor. Given the premium rates charged, this level of service is unacceptable. Families should be aware that essential support — including housekeeping and compassionate customer care — may not be available. We strongly encourage hotel management to reassess their third-party partnerships and service protocols to ensure that all guests receive appropriate support, particularly during unforeseen situations.

This hotel is a scam. For my first time in Vegas, this place felt like a literal twilight zone of an experience. Where do I begin? The first day my girlfriend and I arrived the air conditioner was barely cooling the room. We spoke to someone at the front desk and they had maintenance come. Apparently it needed its filter replaced. You would think they would check that before each new guest arrived. The next day our water temperature in the shower had zero heat to it. We again at 8am went to the front desk and maintenance came. Since we had reservations, we had to leave and were unable to shower or even really get ready as the maintenance guy was in our room/bathroom “fixing” the shower. Later that day after we came back to the room we tried to shower again and the shower was unbearably cold. For the third time we went to the front desk. They finally switched our rooms and had at this point given us $100 in compensations. We didn’t even want the money, we wanted a cool room and a hot shower. Which is crazy how that is too much to ask for when a hotel is charging what they do per night. After we spur of the moment packed our bags and changed rooms, the following morning around 9am without any warning whatsoever from the hotel, they began fire alarm tests with an ear piercing alarm and the rudest men from the “fire department” banging on our door demanding to be let in regardless of our Do Not Disturb light being on. And the cherry on top? Our final night the cable went out. HAHA. Literally a joke. -100/0 stars. Save your money and spend it elsewhere.

We stayed here for four nights. We were offered an upgrade at checkin for a good price & took it, the lady that checked us in was absolutely wonderful. So glad we did! We had a beautiful one bedroom with an awesome view of the sphere & strip from the 30th floor. Everything was perfect in the room. We called for dishes & silverware & it was brought up immediately. Housekeeping was wonderful. I did read before booking about the walk & figured that it couldn't be so bad. I was wrong, it's the absolute only downside. We were in tower 3 & the walk through mgm is very long. You can also walk directly out of this tower to E Harmon, but it is still a long walk to Miracle Mile even though it looks close. Going out wasn't the issue, it was coming back when you're already tired. I probably wouldn't stay again just because of this, otherwise it is perfect.

We stayed here for our wedding/honeymoon. We were on the 38th floor, corner unit with spectacular views. The staff was so great! Always kind and polite. Answered questions and helped us out. The first day of our stay, our rental car had a nail in the tire. The rental car company (Sixt) had to bring us a new vehicle via a tow truck and then pick the one we had up. It took 7.5 hours for the rental car company to get us a new vehicle. The valet made sure we had water and asked us if we needed anything during this time that we waited. The hotel was clean. It was quite for the most part. I liked that there wasn't the hustle and bustle of the Las Vegas Strip, but the strip was a very short walk away. We just really enjoyed out stay and will definitely return. My only negative thing to say is that the prices of items for food or drinks from their deli and the kiosks were way over priced. $15 for a single regular size bag of Doritos is way over the top. There is a convince store not far out side of the MGM Grand (connected to the MGM Signature) that had snacks and drinks at reasonable prices ($3 dollars a can for alcohol verses $15).

My husband and I have visited Las Vegas multiple times and stayed at the Vdara, Caesars, Luxor, Cosmopolitan, The Park, Wynn, Mirage, and Link. We love the location of Tower 1 of the Signature because it’s close to the monorail entrance at the MGM Grand. It’s also about a 10 min walk to the sky bridge to New York New York which has many amazing food options. With shared amenities of the MGM Grand; the pools are fabulous ! Tower 3 is the furthest from the MGM grand ( about a 10 min walk )and closest to Planet Hollywood. I’ve read a lot of the other reviews and the consensus is to book direct with MGM. It’s not fair to blame MGM for a third party booking issue. Most people that book through third party apps are looking for a deal. Just book direct and pay the extra few dollars so you have a pleasant stay. Plan ahead if you’d like to cook as you can call house keeping to bring the kitchen amenities which are not normally stored in the kitchen. They don’t have a lot of gadgets to offer and the max they would provide is 4 place settings. You can make due though with what they have. They brought a couple DW pods and a roll of paper towels also. Coffee machine is provided along with paper coffee cups. If you have a car, you have to either use the free valet or park in the self park at the MGM Grand which is a little walk. The valet parking garage has a limit of 600 spaces so they said it’s first come first serve. We didn’t actually try Delights in Tower 2, but the menu looked relatively reasonable ( $18.99 breakfast ) and it smelled really good walking by. While the hotel is maybe a tad out-dated as compared to the Wynn; we found our balcony suite room very spacious and enjoyed the extra space over the lush accommodations of the Wynn. Pillows were big and fluffy. A little too big for me but might be your favorite! If you are good with the quality of a hotel chain such as a Marriott or Hampton Inn; you will be pleased with the Signature. People looking to complain will find something anywhere.
