If you’re looking for a relaxing Las Vegas holiday away from the hustle and bustle of the Strip, then the Vdara Hotel and Spa provides exactly that and more. A gaming-free all-suite property, it’s the ideal choice for those who want to escape gambling completely or merely switch-off away from the slots and poker tables. Boasting a more secluded location, you’ll still be in comfortable walking distance of the Strip and be able to experience a fabulous laidback taste of Las Vegas.

I stayed at the Vdara for a week during a business trip to Las Vegas and had a very positive experience. The rooms are extremely spacious, very clean, and equipped with all the comforts you could need. My junior suite also had a beautiful view of the Bellagio fountains, which was a great bonus. The bathroom was huge, with both a shower and a bathtub, and the bed was extremely comfortable. There was also plenty of closet space to store clothes and luggage. The junior suite was well designed and divided into two separate areas – a bedroom and a living room – both equipped with their own TV, which made the stay even more comfortable. The hotel lobby is a bit minimal and not as flashy as many other Las Vegas hotels, but one very positive aspect is that there is no casino inside the property. This makes the environment much quieter and more relaxing. The price is consistent with the overall experience, and I would definitely recommend Vdara for anyone looking for a more relaxed stay in Las Vegas.

Lovely spacious room. Perfect location. 1000/10 views! The room was clean, smelled nice. Everything worked well. The only thing I would change is the amenities - having a basic kit with Qtips and make up removing pads in the bathroom should be a standard. We had to call 3x for them and waited a few hours. Apart from that, we had a great time. Check in and check out as very smooth. We had a very friendly butler and housekeeping staff. Nice pool area. The perfect location

The Vdara is our favorite property in Las Vegas! Whether for business or family stays, we are never disappointed. The rooms beautiful..the amenities perfect...and the taste and decor impeccable. From the bell service to the concierge to housekeeping and security, we can see and feel their care in making your stay a great experience. Conviently located to what I refer to as its "sister property" - the Aria, visitors have the best of both worlds! Between the two, you can enjoy both casino and quiet, small cafe and a variety of sit-down restaurants, up-scale shopping, spas, and the list goes on.

This hotel is perfect if you don't want the craziness of a major hotel and casino. It has a much calmer environment which I prefer. It has quick connections to Bellagio, Como, and Aria if you want casinos clubs and big restaurants. The pool is nice the cabana areas are great and service was excellent out there. The front desk is a little disorganized and unaccommodating the the rest of the hotel, service and staff make up for that lack.

This hotel did not meet my expectations whatsoever. One of the biggest disappointments was discovering that although this property is listed in the Marriott Bonvoy app, it is actually an MGM property. While MGM and Marriott Bonvoy are partners, it became very clear that Marriott Bonvoy members are not treated as valued guests here. Every time I mentioned my Titanium Marriott Bonvoy status, I was met with the same dismissive response: “We’re partnered with Marriott, but we’re MGM.” That should not be an excuse for providing subpar service to loyal Marriott members. Even more concerning is that this is marketed as a 5-star hotel, yet the cleanliness was unacceptable. For a room costing over $300 per night, I should not be walking into someone else’s hair scattered throughout the room, fingernail clippings on the carpet, and hair all over the bathroom. I will be including photos because this level of cleanliness is simply inexcusable for a hotel of this caliber. My check-in experience was equally frustrating. I arrived at approximately 8:30 a.m. and was not able to check into my room until 3:30 p.m. I was told I would receive an upgraded room with a fountain view, but that never happened. Instead, I was told I had been upgraded to a Restore Parlor King—which was actually the exact room I had booked from the start. Presenting my original reservation as an “upgrade” felt dishonest and only added to the disappointment. The service at the front desk left much to be desired. With the exception of Sahar and Bronson, who were courteous and professional, most of the staff came across as dismissive and uninterested in resolving concerns. Manager Laura, in particular, was especially disappointing in how my issues were handled. Overall, this property does not reflect the standards I expect from a luxury hotel or from a Marriott Bonvoy partner. If you’re a Marriott Bonvoy member expecting your loyalty to be recognized, I would recommend staying elsewhere.
