We arrived at the hotel based on a recommendation we found on Booking.com. It was me, my wife, and our 13-year-old son. We arrived at the hotel very early, and at the reception we were warmly welcomed by Marbella, who treated us with great kindness and professionalism. While we were waiting for our room to be ready, the staff offered us complimentary cold soft drinks, which was very much appreciated after our journey. They even asked whether we would like to take a shower and freshen up after our flight of more than 12 hours before the room was available. Marbella also offered us an upgrade to a larger room with a river view for a small additional fee, and of course, we accepted. She personally accompanied us to the room and explained all of its facilities. The room included a bedroom, a living room, and a kitchenette, making it very comfortable for our family. The hotel is within walking distance of Asiatique and the Hop-On Hop-Off tourist boat service, which we used throughout the day and found to be much more convenient than other forms of transportation. The swimming pool is clean and beautiful, featuring fountains and a jacuzzi. The level of service we received from the moment we arrived until we checked out was exceptional. We felt genuinely welcomed and well taken care of. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.

I had a really nice stay at The Salil Hotel Riverside Bangkok. The hotel has a chill, relaxing vibe and the riverside location makes it feel like a little escape from the busy city. The room was clean, stylish, and comfortable, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. Everything felt easy and well taken care of. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of food and tasted nice, but I found that some of hot food were a bit cold by the time I got them. It would be perfect if the food was kept warmer. Overall, I still enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and peaceful place to stay in Bangkok. Stay at 31 Jan 2026

We do not recommend this hotel for families. The price is too high! The kids club is a joke (small with 20 colouring books completely filled in) the staff are unfriendly and do not communicate internally (we ask about a laundry service near by and they never got back to us). They constantly have their heads in a phone. The hotel has an app that they advise you to download - Don’t! They overwhelm you with advertisements and indifferent messengers. We went to ask for a baby sitter at the front desk for which they responded “please make the request to the front desk in the app” - we do not go on vacation to be on our phone all the time. The staff at the restaurant got our order wrong 7 out if 8 days and the waiters seem very immature to service. We stayed in a family room - the room was ok. Sealing was low, bunk beds very hard, large tub (but not for kids as our daughter hurt her head on the tap), nice shower. The pool area is ok, but is filled with influencers taking pictures. We have stayed in a lot of nice hotels in Thailand but this one I would not recommend to anyone.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Salil Riverside Bangkok—it's easily become one of our new favorite places to stay in the city. The breakfast buffet was amazing, with a huge variety and everything fresh and delicious. It was the perfect way to start each day. The staff was incredible—it felt like there was always someone nearby, ready and happy to help with anything at all. Truly warm, attentive service. The location is prime, especially with the super convenient ferry access along the riverside. Getting around was easy and enjoyable, yet the hotel is tucked into a quiet neighborhood that feels peaceful and relaxing. And the beds are so comfortable. Returning to that level of comfort after long days exploring Bangkok made a significant difference. I highly recommend The Salil Riverside to anyone visiting Bangkok.

We had a wonderful stay at The Salil Hotel Bangkok and truly enjoyed every moment of our visit. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. The reception team welcomed us warmly during check-in and provided a clear and helpful introduction to the hotel facilities, which made us feel comfortable and well taken care of right away. A special highlight of our stay was the memorable Thai dressing experience arranged by the Fairy Team. The officer ny the name of Beam was incredibly attentive and made the experience so enjoyable by helping us with the traditional Thai costume, sharing meaningful explanations about Thai culture, and making the entire session feel special and authentic. Chanin was also very kind and patient in assisting us with photo-taking, helping us capture many beautiful memories. The hotel environment is clean, peaceful, and very relaxing — perfect for a comfortable getaway in Bangkok. The atmosphere is charming, the service is warm, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Bangkok. We will definitely return again!
