This was truly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Everything was perfect — the view from my room was absolutely breathtaking and the atmosphere of the hotel was wonderful. The staff were incredibly kind and made my stay very special. Since it was my birthday, I will never forget the beautiful surprise during breakfast. I am so grateful to Khing, Thiwanee, Aom, Run, and Tee for being the first ones to celebrate with me. They made me laugh, feel special, and start my day in the best way possible. Later, I was surprised again when I returned to my room and found another birthday cake waiting for me. It was such a thoughtful gesture. The cocktails by the pool were also amazing and made the day even more enjoyable. In the evening, I had dinner at Seen and I would also like to thank Roj, Ying, and Aom for bringing me another little birthday cake and making the night even more memorable. This holiday and the kindness of the people here will always stay in my heart. Thank you for making my birthday so unforgettable.

Stayed at the Avani for 4 nights and the hotel is simply amazing. The room is clean with a massive king zise bed fit for a king. The view from the room is second to none and leave you with one of those once in a life time feelings when you first see it. Advice always book a riverview room. The roof top pool, wow wow wow. The views of bangkok and the river is out of the world. Limited amount of sun beds thou but one was always available if we went after 14h00. Staff gets top marks , especially, Birth, very friendly and helpful guy. Breakfast is adequate but not the best that have have experienced for a 5 star hotel. I have travelled asia a lot and for the live of me why do you boil the chicken and pork sausages lol. Note however this hotel is not cheap , the cost of its restaurants , bars and that of its sister hotel the Anantara are ski high and not affordable for the average traveller , but it is a 5 star hotel so it understood. It is Bangkok thou and you can find amazing food and drinks at a reasonable price across the best city in the world. I was also informed that hotel guest and GHA members get discounts , it however appeared that staff are not always, aware of same. I also used grab to get around bangkok and it worked well.

This hotel in Bangkok exceeded every expectation I have ever had and set a completely new standard for luxury, comfort, and service. From the very first moment, I felt genuinely welcomed and taken care of at the highest possible level. The staff were exceptional—professional, warm, attentive, and always one step ahead, anticipating every need with a smile. The room was immaculate, beautifully designed, incredibly comfortable, and offered breathtaking views that made every morning unforgettable. The facilities were nothing short of world-class. Every detail, from the elegant interiors to the relaxing pool area and outstanding dining options, was executed to absolute perfection. The hotel managed to combine luxury with a sense of calm and privacy, despite being located in the heart of a vibrant city. Everything worked flawlessly, and the overall atmosphere made it impossible not to feel relaxed and spoiled. Without a doubt, this is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. It wasn’t just accommodation—it was a truly exceptional experience that I will remember for a lifetime. I am 100% satisfied and would recommend this hotel to absolutely everyone without hesitation. If you are visiting Bangkok and want the very best, this is the only place you should consider.

This hotel is listed on Google maps as a 5-star hotel. There's nothing particularly wrong with it but it is absolutely not a 5-star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. It's pretty much just a premier inn/travelodge but with better views and a rooftop pool/bar. Check-in was slow, the rooms are a weird layout with the bathroom as part of the bedroom albeit at least with wooden sliding doors for privacy, and the finishings and paintwork are low quality. Shower and AC worked well and the bed was very comfy. The room has some other weird quirks like for instance there are no light switches by the bedside so you have to get up and turn them off by the door then stumble back to bed in the dark. You'll also spend a lot of time waiting for the lifts, although you can always hear them coming because they play loud music in them constantly. The breakfast has a good selection of items but I just wanted some yoghurt and granola which proved impossible since they only provide hobbit-size portions of yoghurt in thimble sized containers. So small in fact that the teaspoons don't fit inside them properly. The rooftop pool and bar are very pleasant. The gym is a typical rubbish hotel gym. One highlight is that you do have access to the anatara resort next door which feels much more upmarket and is a lovely place to sit next to the river with a drink. Finally it really annoyed me that every time I bought something a bill would arrive with a service charge already added but then they ask for a tip amount as well. You can have tips or a service charge but trying to guilt-trip customers into tipping twice is shocking behaviour. Overall this hotel is fine but just don't book it expecting 5 star luxury. You're paying for the view and that's it.

I stayed at Avani Riverside Bangkok for five nights. The hotel has some very strong points, but overall the experience was not as impressive as expected. The infinity pool is definitely the highlight. The views over the river and the Bangkok skyline are beautiful and create a great atmosphere. The free boat shuttle is also very convenient and makes it easy to get around. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional during the entire stay. On the other hand, there are areas that could be improved. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but they feel a bit dated and not very modern anymore. Compared to other hotels in Bangkok in the same price range, it does not really stand out. The gym is quite simple and has limited equipment, fine for a short workout, but nothing special. Breakfast was disappointing. Coffee is self-service with only two machines, and the quality was not good. Some of the Asian dishes tasted nice, but others were bland. The egg dishes were okay, but nothing memorable. Overall, the hotel has strong features like the pool, location, and staff, but it no longer feels like one of the top choices in Bangkok.
