Stayed for one night to celebrate my birthday. As a VIP member, I was recognized at check-in and received a room upgrade from Deluxe city view to pool view. While it wasn't a suite upgrade, the recognition was appreciated. VIP benefits also included complimentary breakfast and lounge access. Check-in was smooth, and while waiting for my room, I was escorted to the executive lounge. The lounge is not very large but comfortable, open from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM with all-day soft drinks and coffee, plus cocktails and light snacks from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A special thank to K.Baifern and K.Bow at the lounge. Their enthusiastic, attentive, and flawless service made me feel very welcome throughout my stay. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, although it is starting to show its age. I was pleasantly surprised to find a birthday cake, handwritten card, and towel art waiting in the room, which was a nice touch. My thanks to the Executive Lounge team for helping create a memorable stay. The hotel's location is excellent, just a short walk from the MRT station and nearby shopping malls. The only downside was breakfast. The selection was quite limited, with most options centered around bread and pastries. Some hot dishes, including the soup and noodles, were not served hot enough. Overall, I had a pleasant stay thanks to the excellent staff, lounge experience, and convenient location, but the breakfast offering could definitely be improved.

Nice hotel located between 2 big malls. It is on a quieter less seedy part of Sukhumvit. The room is spacious and had a good view. Rooms are also quiet despite construction across the street and busy road. The pool is nice although did not have an amazing view but does have shower and towel service. Hotel also has a good rooftop bar where you can bring your friend or date. Hotel is guest friendly also.

Positives... good location, clean rooms, staff are nice..great breakfast The reason I didnt give 5 stars is because VIP member you should be given access to lounge and room upgrade if available. The room upgrade was available.. but then I was told since I was given room upgrade, im not allowed access to lounge. And I was told only VIP who stay at the property at least 2 times will be given access.. this is hard to believe hotel policy. In any case.. if the policy is no lounge access if I get room upgrade... I should be asked if I want room upgrade or lounge access.. some people will value room upgrade, some will value lounge access. I've never heard this policy in any hotel I've stayed at and I have top tier status in other hotel brands... all the other hotels offer room upgrade if available and lounge access.

We had very high expectations of a 5 star hotel, but unfortunately our experience wasn’t so great at first. We got a room that was in an old poor condition, especially the bathroom needed some serious restoration. We asked for a new room and the staff were very kind to provide us with the new room, which turned out to be in a better condition. It seems from the previous reviews that a lot of guests experienced cockroaches, which should be probably an issue to be taken more seriously for a well known 5-star reputable hotel chain! The view from the room is quite nice though :)

Review: Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok – A Well-Executed and Comfortable Stay We began our stay in a Junior Suite and were very satisfied from the start with the comfort, standard, and overall atmosphere. The room was spacious, quiet, and modern, with well-appointed facilities that made the stay very pleasant. When Phirom arrived, we contacted the front desk to inquire about the possibility of an upgrade. The request was handled professionally and courteously, and we were upgraded to a One Bedroom Suite on the 27th floor, which further elevated the experience. The suite was elegantly designed with a separate living room and bedroom, a spacious bathroom, and a beautiful view of the city. The overall impression was refined, well-maintained, and conveyed a strong sense of quality and relaxation. Service throughout the stay was professional, efficient, and friendly. Breakfast was of high quality with a good selection, and the hotel’s facilities were clean, well organized, and well managed. Summary Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok delivers a reliable and comfortable stay with strong standards, excellent location, and consistently good service.
