This was my first stay at Taj Holiday Village Goa, and given the Taj brand and the beautiful photos online, I had very high expectations. The property itself is stunning. The beachside location is fantastic, and during the monsoon it felt especially beautiful. The pool is also excellent and was one of the highlights of our stay. Where I felt the experience fell short was in the hospitality and breakfast. For a luxury five-star resort, I expected a much warmer welcome. There was no welcome drink or arrival gesture, the check-in experience felt quite ordinary, and many staff members seemed indifferent rather than genuinely welcoming. Simple touches like smiling, greeting guests while walking through the property, and making them feel noticed are what usually elevate a luxury stay, and I missed that here. On our first morning, we had the buffet breakfast at Taj Fort Aguada, and it was underwhelming. The spread was average, but the biggest disappointment was the coffee, which was surprisingly poor for a hotel of this calibre. Overall, it’s a beautiful property in an excellent location, but the service and dining experience didn’t quite live up to the standards I associate with the Taj brand.

Lavish Breakfast Spread: Every morning started perfectly with a fantastic breakfast. The spread was extensive, delicious, and featured a wonderful mix of local flavors and global favorites. The Ultimate Romantic Vibe: The combination of the charming cottage-style layout, serene coastal atmosphere, and peaceful privacy makes it the ultimate destination for couples looking to unwind. We absolutely loved every second of our stay and are already looking forward to visiting again. If you want to experience the very best of Goa with world-class hospitality, this is the place to be!

A lovely family resort! Would highly recommend the place. I stayed in a little villa close to the pool for 5 nights. The resort had a chill, laidback vibe, beautiful sea-view restaurant for the breakfast buffet spread, and a lovely family crowd :) The spa service was one of the best I’ve had in 5 star resorts. I still think of it! We were also allowed to have breakfast and use the pool at their sister property - Taj Aguada. Went there for an evening and enjoyed my time. There was an efficient buggy cart service throughout the resort, as well as between both the sister properties. Overall - kind, welcoming staff who remembered our names and room numbers from day 1, a delicious breakfast spread every single day to start the day, and a lush green property that I won’t forget any time soon. Absolutely adored my relaxing stay here. Also, the beach is connected to the property. It’s right there. It was stunning. Didn’t feel like leaving the place for any other cafes or restaurants.

This is my 4th visit to the Hotel and i can tell you Monsoons are really magical here. Food is unbeatable across all the outlets. Therr is a lot to keep kids busy. Pool is beautiful. Housekeeping staff was wonderful, I had this gentlemen Mr.Tousif who allways left my bed subtly decorative. This property can give you the feeling of luxury.

Once again, it proved to be a paradise for a family traveling with two kids. The resort went above and beyond to keep the children thoroughly engaged. They absolutely loved the daily activities there. ​The swimming pool here is absolutely amazing—beautifully designed and a major hit with the entire family for a refreshing dip. ​Dining was another absolute highlight of our stay. The food is extraordinary, and having our breakfast, lunch, and dinner here was a culinary delight. The buffet offers a vast spread with so many options that there was always something delicious for both the adults and the kids to enjoy. ​If you want a stunning, family-friendly luxury stay in Goa with legendary hospitality, endless activities for the kids, and top-tier food, Taj Holiday Village is a flawless choice.
