Wow! What an amazing experience! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The hospitality was exceptional, the staff was incredibly warm and attentive, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The food was delicious, and the overall ambiance made the stay truly memorable. This was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. I highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to visit again!

What a splendid stay! What hospitality! I have stayed in most of the resorts in Goa and I really feel everyone has to learn from Hyatt hospitality. Absolutely top notch. Large property, beautiful rooms and so many options for everyone, young and old. Me, my wife and my daughter had a great time. Steffi, the charming boss at the helm made sure everything went smooth and every experience had an ‘hyatt extra’. Arlene- the manager at breakfast- very kind and super efficient. Need to learn to speak and manage like her! Biswajeet, manager at the bar area, super friendly and efficient. Always engages and helps and well supported by a super crew of suman, Abhay, Raj, Ravi.. lovely team. The club is lovely and accommodating, Gagandeep and crew make you feel welcome. Book a bay view room, block 7 is the best as it is closer to the club, bar and bay.

Thirty minutes into my stay at Grand Hyatt Goa, and unfortunately the experience has already started on a disappointing note. A week before arrival, I specifically booked and paid for a Twin Bed Room with a Pool View. The reservation was made well in advance, so there should have been absolutely no ambiguity about my requirements. A couple of days before check-in, the hotel called to remind me that the official check-in time was 3:00 PM. Fair enough. I respected that and arrived at exactly 3:00 PM. What I did not expect was to wait another 25 minutes for my room to be allocated. Even more surprising was being told that I had booked a King Bed Room, which is simply incorrect. The room type was one of the key reasons for making the reservation in advance. As a guest, it is frustrating to have to explain and defend your own booking details during check-in. The overall process felt disorganized and lacking attention to detail. There was no sense of ownership of the issue and no confidence that the reservation preferences which had been booked and paid for were actually understood. This visit is particularly important because I am here with my son to celebrate his birthday. I was not expecting upgrades, complimentary benefits, or special treatment. I simply expected the hotel to honour the reservation that was made and provide a smooth arrival experience. For a property positioned as one of Goa’s leading luxury hotels, having the correct room ready at the published check-in time should be the minimum standard, not an achievement. Hopefully the remainder of the stay improves, but based purely on the arrival and check-in experience, the first impression has been far from what one would expect from the Hyatt brand.

It is a massive hotel with beautiful grounds. The house keeping does a good job, the kids club has some interesting activities and the food is decent. The breakfast buffet is not very extensive but more than sufficient. However, the service can feel very inconsistent. The day we checked into the hotel I had a bad experience with the people managing the outdoor pool. There was a family blocking the only handrail for the entire pool by sitting and snacking on the stairs near it. When I requested the staff to ask the guests to not block the handrail to access the pool, they said they can do nothing about it and that the other guests had come first. It is not about who came first but it is about accessibility. First and foremost, the extensive pool has only one handrail and by blocking it, you are denying access to those who need the handrail support to enter and exit the pool safely. This is a serious lack of knowledge about pool safety guidelines on the part of the staff and discriminatory towards those with disabilities (which need not always be apparent). I really wish the team will understand the seriousness of this issue and take necessary steps to train the team to ensure accessibility and safety for all. However, I must mention that the indoor pool is very well managed and the staff there are courteous, respectful and concerned about the safety and well-being of their guests.

Grand Hyatt Goa is an absolute beauty of a resort. The spaciousness, the architecture ,the facilities and service are second to none. The location itself is ocean facing. The staff are warm and welcoming. The 'Dining Room' restaurant offers a delightful culinary experience. The Sunday Brunch at this restaurant is second to none with Live music and a lavish layout. Nidhi the restaurant hostess will ensure all your needs are taken care of while Vimal, the asst F&B manager will cater to your every culinary desire. Delve Gracias is a buggy operator who will proudly show you the property in his golf cart, while Pratiksha is a perfect hostess in The Dining Room. A stay here will rejuvenate and refresh you.
