Excellent hotel with an outstanding breakfast We stayed at Sunwing Fañabé Beach for 12 nights on a bed and breakfast basis and had a very good experience overall. The breakfast deserves a special mention. It was probably the most extensive breakfast buffet we’ve ever seen. There really is something for everyone, with an enormous choice of both hot and cold food. The quality was excellent as well. The only downside is that it can get very busy at certain times. The hotel itself is huge. There are nine elevators, and our room happened to be almost as far away from the main entrance as possible. Walking from our room to the entrance took us about five or six minutes! That gives you some idea of the size of the place. The hotel has pretty much everything you need, including a small supermarket, gym and laundry facilities. The swimming pool was probably the only part that wasn’t ideal for me personally. I like swimming laps, and there wasn’t really enough space for that. For relaxing and cooling off, however, it’s perfectly fine. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. We particularly liked the system that detects whether you’re in your room, so housekeeping knows when it’s a convenient time to clean. It works really well and means you don’t have the usual housekeeping interruptions. During our 12 night stay, fresh towels were provided on 10 days. On the days the room wasn’t serviced, this was clearly communicated with a card, which we thought was perfectly reasonable. Another big plus is the staff. Everyone was genuinely friendly. There was always a greeting when entering the hotel, and staff regularly took the time to have a little chat, asking what we’d been doing that day or whether we were enjoying our stay. Those small interactions made the hotel feel much more personal despite its enormous size. Overall, Sunwing Fañabé Beach is a very good choice in Costa Adeje. Spacious and clean rooms, excellent facilities, exceptionally friendly staff and an outstanding breakfast. We would happily stay here again.

Stayed a week at the Fanabe Family Beach hotel with a family of 4. The room was excellent, nice beds, sufficient room for the luggage and extra beds for our baby and child. Also a small kitchenette, sofa and TV with smartcast. The room was clean and had a good bathroom as well, only con was the very low water pressure on the shower. Rooms were cleaned 6 days a week by super friendly staff. The breakfast was OK, mainly focused on the British tourist. Often the same type of breakfast. Did not like the coffee and other machine brewed hot drinks. Breakfast staff was very friendly. The rest of hotels offers a gym, spa, swimming pool, playing area, teens area and small shop. We sat by the pool a couple of times, however found the pool to be to small for the amount of people. It was very busy in and around the pool which made it difficult to have a nice relaxing swim. Also a lot of pool noodles and other plastic floating devices used by the kids. Last but not least, also here a lot of people putting their towels in the morning to reserve a bed although there are signs that it is not allowed. The location of the hotel is excellent. Very close to the beach area but also not to far from the high way. However, this makes it difficult to find parking around the hotel. Note the different signs around the parking spots, as our car got towed away for parking in front of the hotel on a Tuesday (missed the yellow stripes on the parking space). The hotel offers parking for hotel guests, but this parking garage is very narrow specially when you have a bigger car. We visit the hotel during the first week of July, during which it was already busy. But I assume that it will get even more busy during August. The above remarks will most probably be even worse during this period. Overal a good hotel with lovely rooms and nice location. If you do not mind the busy pool area then it is OK to visit with your family.

We stayed at the hotel for a week at the end of April with our two small children and had a really lovely experience. We only booked breakfast, as we enjoy exploring different restaurants and areas during our holidays, and the breakfast exceeded our expectations. There was a great variety every day, and it was nice to see small changes to the selection throughout the week. Our studio room was perfect for us, and I would definitely choose it again. It was located in a quieter part of the hotel, which made a big difference when travelling with young kids. The room was very clean, and housekeeping did an excellent job. Our room was cleaned almost every day, which was highly appreciated with two children and sand constantly finding its way everywhere! The only small thing worth mentioning is that the air conditioning only goes down to 20°C. It was absolutely fine for this time of year, but it may feel a little warm during the peak summer months. The location of the hotel is excellent. Fañabé Beach is only about a 5-minute walk away, and Playa del Duque - which we personally preferred is around 15 minutes on foot. There are plenty of restaurants nearby; while there are a few tourist traps, there are also many genuinely good places to eat. We didn’t spend too much time around the pools because the beach was more convenient for us, but on the days we did use them, everything was very clean, well maintained, and enjoyable. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and we will definitely come back again!

Great hotel. Good food, very clean and lovely staff. 3min walk from the local restaurants and beach. Only downfall.... The music around the pool day/night non-existent... and night time entertainment is very poor, in fact completely dead.. so go out to the local bars at night and enjoy the night life entertainment around there. This is my only gripe and BIGGEST let down. But other than that, I would recommend.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing! The location is perfect, and the rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. We loved the food—everything was delicious. A huge highlight was definitely the pools; the warm water was so relaxing. We highly recommend this place! Close to the beach.
