Excellent hotel with an outstanding breakfast We stayed at Sunwing Fañabé Beach for 12 nights on a bed and breakfast basis and had a very good experience overall. The breakfast deserves a special mention. It was probably the most extensive breakfast buffet we’ve ever seen. There really is something for everyone, with an enormous choice of both hot and cold food. The quality was excellent as well. The only downside is that it can get very busy at certain times. The hotel itself is huge. There are nine elevators, and our room happened to be almost as far away from the main entrance as possible. Walking from our room to the entrance took us about five or six minutes! That gives you some idea of the size of the place. The hotel has pretty much everything you need, including a small supermarket, gym and laundry facilities. The swimming pool was probably the only part that wasn’t ideal for me personally. I like swimming laps, and there wasn’t really enough space for that. For relaxing and cooling off, however, it’s perfectly fine. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. We particularly liked the system that detects whether you’re in your room, so housekeeping knows when it’s a convenient time to clean. It works really well and means you don’t have the usual housekeeping interruptions. During our 12 night stay, fresh towels were provided on 10 days. On the days the room wasn’t serviced, this was clearly communicated with a card, which we thought was perfectly reasonable. Another big plus is the staff. Everyone was genuinely friendly. There was always a greeting when entering the hotel, and staff regularly took the time to have a little chat, asking what we’d been doing that day or whether we were enjoying our stay. Those small interactions made the hotel feel much more personal despite its enormous size. Overall, Sunwing Fañabé Beach is a very good choice in Costa Adeje. Spacious and clean rooms, excellent facilities, exceptionally friendly staff and an outstanding breakfast. We would happily stay here again.

Stayed a week at the Fanabe Family Beach hotel with a family of 4. The room was excellent, nice beds, sufficient room for the luggage and extra beds for our baby and child. Also a small kitchenette, sofa and TV with smartcast. The room was clean and had a good bathroom as well, only con was the very low water pressure on the shower. Rooms were cleaned 6 days a week by super friendly staff. The breakfast was OK, mainly focused on the British tourist. Often the same type of breakfast. Did not like the coffee and other machine brewed hot drinks. Breakfast staff was very friendly. The rest of hotels offers a gym, spa, swimming pool, playing area, teens area and small shop. We sat by the pool a couple of times, however found the pool to be to small for the amount of people. It was very busy in and around the pool which made it difficult to have a nice relaxing swim. Also a lot of pool noodles and other plastic floating devices used by the kids. Last but not least, also here a lot of people putting their towels in the morning to reserve a bed although there are signs that it is not allowed. The location of the hotel is excellent. Very close to the beach area but also not to far from the high way. However, this makes it difficult to find parking around the hotel. Note the different signs around the parking spots, as our car got towed away for parking in front of the hotel on a Tuesday (missed the yellow stripes on the parking space). The hotel offers parking for hotel guests, but this parking garage is very narrow specially when you have a bigger car. We visit the hotel during the first week of July, during which it was already busy. But I assume that it will get even more busy during August. The above remarks will most probably be even worse during this period. Overal a good hotel with lovely rooms and nice location. If you do not mind the busy pool area then it is OK to visit with your family.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing! The location is perfect, and the rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. We loved the food—everything was delicious. A huge highlight was definitely the pools; the warm water was so relaxing. We highly recommend this place! Close to the beach.

I would give this hotel 4 stars as a family but since we travelled as a couple I’d recommend staying elsewhere. The rooms were nice and well cleaned. It was more hotel style than other places nearby so no oven but good, comfortable and clean. We had a cockroach the first night but deal with promptly. We were situated beside a storage cupboard so it would loud in the morning. The culture was a bit odd here. If you’re not Scandinavian it’s very unusual and you feel a bit out of place. It should really be marketed as a Scandinavian only hotel. Breakfast was so poor we stopped going near the end of our trip. Went to ask about a late checkout and was told to return before 9am on the day which defeats to whole purpose and quoted something like €75? Crazy. Given we decided to go pay a little more on this trip it didn’t really live up to our expectations. The location is amazing and so close to everything.

Brilliant family hotel. Breakfasts were great, and we had a self catering apartment, so we sorted out lunch and dinner ourselves. Great location only a few hundred meters from the beach and bars. Would highly recommended
