We had a great time and have re booked for next year for NYE. Great location, lovely staff, we had a great time at NYE. Breakfast was perfect for us so then we could explore in the car we rented. Rooms were clean but would like to see the outdoor furniture cleaner and the patio. It is a very noisy area at night but we put on our headphones and we were fine. See you next year!

The Hotel is fine, amazing breakfast and great view on the balcony. In addition it's close to the center and connected to the beach. They have activities planned for entertainment and the crew is hardworking and friendly. There is noise during sleeping from the bars though you will have this in any other hotel in the center, so people shouldn't complain about that. Next to this the rooms are kinda dirty and old. There are little insects walking in the bathroom all the time. Else than that it's good considering the price. Would I book it again? No probably not but I do definitely not regret my choise. I would recommend to renovate the rooms

We stayed at the hotel for a week and we want to say that we liked everything. The hotel is located right next to the rocky beach. You can walk to the sandy beach in 3 minutes. The food was quite good, so from the first day we decided to change our half board plan to all inclusive, because the drinks at the pool bar are quite expensive, and all inclusive is more profitable if you want to enjoy cocktails. The staff was friendly and helpful. Many negative reviews about the fact that there are bugs or cockroaches in the room, and that they did not do housekeeping. Personally, our room was clean from the very beginning, not a single cockroach inside, housekeeping was every day, towels were replaced with clean ones every day. Regarding the old renovations of the premises - if you are used to luxury 5* hotels with European renovation, then you will not like this renovation. But we have extensive experience of traveling and staying in different apartments and therefore we have no questions about this, especially for the price it costs. The air conditioner worked great. We are only taking one star off because it was noisy until 4am from the nightclubs (but we were drunk every day, so it didn't stop us from sleeping😁) and because there are Pakistanis walking around the hotel offering you drugs or drinks in their nightclub. They are quite pushy and aggressive so you need to be careful if you go there alone😤 Every evening the hotel had a new show program and during the day various sports activities were offered. We are very satisfied with our vacation, so we will definitely come back again!🤟🏻

Went better than we expected, the service was top notch with the staff extremely helpful and respectful whenever we needed them and are a credit to the hotel , the food was consistent and the drinks options compared to other hotels was great . Views were outstanding particularly from our room of the sea and the hills in the distance. However the hotel seriously needs upgrading with outdated decor and bits falling apart, the pool is freezing with no heater in there compared to other hotels ,the rooms felt like a 1980 style with nothing majorly modern in there , the air conditioning is shocking and seriously needs replacing , even in 25c weather it needs to be stronger but the beds and shower were good and the saving grace , entertainment was hit and miss and needs a rethink , the rock night was excellent and got everyone engaged but some of the singing even though they tried there best was Preety poor . We weren't to concerned about the noise as we knew we booked near the strip in Playa de las Americas as this was a last minute booking however were concerned with the amount of random people outside the hotel trying to force drugs and drinks to you . Honestly it probably wouldn't be a place we come back to if no changes are made but we would try it in the future if they modernise the place, fix the Air Con urgently and warm the pools up . Finally we only saw one Cockroach in the room so that's obviously something the hotel needs to keep a eye on but alot better compared to previous reviews we have seen .

I genuinely feel sorry for the staff at this hotel. It is clear that the room service and restaurant teams are doing their best to maintain cleanliness, but the reality is that the entire building urgently needs a full renovation. Smelly lifts, plumbing issues in the toilets and bathrooms, cracked tiles—these are structural problems that no amount of daily hard work from the staff can compensate for. As for the reception team, you can really feel the pressure they are under from constant noise complaints. Some staff seem indifferent, while others clearly empathise with guests but are powerless to do anything beyond listening and trying to comfort them. I truly appreciated the effort of one receptionist who listened patiently and did everything she could to arrange a different room for me in two days. However, even the staff themselves admit that this hotel simply cannot offer genuinely quiet rooms, as it is surrounded by clubs and karaoke bars. I was told I should not choose here as they can declared it is in central position and SOME noise should be prepared before booking 😼 looking at the feedback the owner had to all the bad reviews, it is genuinely what the management believe- anyone who complain about the noise is down to own wrong decision, nothing to do with the hotel. The owner needs to rethink the hotel’s soundproofing and overall infrastructure. The location is not an excuse for poor insulation and outdated facilities. For anyone considering booking: if you are not latesleeper that can stand until 4–5 a.m., if you are travelling with children, or if you don’t have the superpower to sleep through nightclub-level noise (even with windows fully closed, check out the noise level in video), you may want to think very carefully before choosing Sol Tenerife.
