Overall the resort is fantastic, the waiters are fabulous, they can't do enough for you. It is important to tip them a few Egyptian pounds, in note form as coins can't be changed in their banks. The resort has a red flag system when sunbathing at the pool and beach, which is meant to stop the dive guys and spa, beauty guys from selling their products, the system doesn't work, we were still hassled by them! On arrival we were told we had booked a junior suite which didn't have 3 beds, even though our room was booked for 3 adults. The manager said he would give us another bed in our room for free, which was funny as we had already paid for a holiday for 3 adults, so we accepted the extra bed. The bed never appeared in our room, it was fine as 2 of us shared a double bed but we needed to ring reception for an extra set of towels for the extra person. The day before checking out we requested a late check out and were told there was a charge, we said we didn't really want to pay as we hadn't received the extra bed. The next day we discussed the charge with the manager who said we needed to ring reception for the extra bed and because we didn't do that he assumed we didn't want it, he didn't state this, he said he did, the room was an extra £26 for a late check-out. Apart from this we can't fault the resort. The food was plentiful and tasty. There is 2 a-la-carte restaurants, which can be visited as many times as you want during your visit. We visited the Asian restaurant and the meal was beautiful. The beach at the hotel is clean, with a lifeguard on site at all times. There is lifeguards on duty at the pool at all times. A beautiful resort with fabulous staff.

We booked this hotel purely through reading all the good reviews about this hotel. Sadly we came to learn that these reviews are not genuine and are actually written out by the staff at the hotel… we know because they came around and asked us to do the same. Sadly they have targets to meet with reviews but I cannot give a false impression. Upon arrival we entered the hotel and went to check in, here we was asked if we’d like to upgrade our room to a sea view for $20 extra a night. We said no to which they then offered the same at $10. We still insisted no and was taken to our room… that when you went out onto the balcony had a sea view (albeit small, but still a sea view nonetheless the less!) The food in the hotel was mediocre. I ended up eating a lot of pasta and salad. Unless your tipping the staff around the lobby bar your service is shoddy at best… they ask what you’d like to order and tell you to go sit and they will bring but then they forget, and you have to go to the bar and get it yourself anyway! The beach bar is lovely to look at but sadly the drinks are always warm and flat! And also closed very early! Considering this is where the evening entertainment is closest to!! Food at the pool bar again is mass cooked and then when you get it it’s lukewarm warm at best! The rooms although good sizes are fairly modern but show signs of wear and tear. Not always as clean as you’d like it! Drinks in mini bar in the room are only upon welcome! 3 drinks to last you all week.. Don’t even bother with the Italian restaurant. The service was shocking and the food tasteless! The Asian was better but still if you’d gone there to eat and had to pay you’d be very disappointed! Again not just the food but the service too. The general service in the restaurants was much to be desired. Tables not being cleared away and reset with a reasonable time frame but yet there are more workers wondering around in there than you see anywhere else!! In the mornings the toaster machine was broken bread went through 6 times to just toast one side!! Complained everyday to be told same thing, will be fixed tomorrow. To which it wasn’t and then on the 6th day (day before coming home) the manager came over with the chef and said just for us they would prepare our toast in the kitchen and bring it out to us fresh! To be honest the list is long! But these are the main points we felt.

I want to start by saying this resort is absolutely stunning. The pool, the sea, the rooms and public areas are nothing other than beautiful and clean. The pool is huge and has different depths so the kids and adults can play and swim without being out of their depth. The staff are so wonderful, especially the guys in the bars and the room keeping department. The real heroes are the staff like Mohamed in the pool bar who runs around all day to get you drinks so you don't need to get up (so tip this wonderful man) and the other barmen in the bar near reception. They are all so wonderful. There aren't a lot of sunbeds but if you get down to the pool at 8am you will get whichever ones you want. The only downside, is the food. There isn't the greatest selection and if your kid is fussy and will only eat chips, pizza and chicken nuggets, then this resort is NOT for you. All in all though, this resort is an utterly wonderful, happy and joyful place with amazing weather, amazing staff and amazing facilities so I highly recommend. And if you have a late flight, the hotel allow you to stay onsite and use the facilities inc food and drink. And for an extra charge of 30€ you can keep your room until pickup time. Thank you to all the staff who made mine and my families trip so memorable. Also, check out wild safari for quadding and speak to the Panorama Submarine guy and go out and see the corals, fish and go snorkelling! Truly wonderful experiences all round!

We came as a family of 9 including 4 adults and 5 children ranging from 8 to 13. The hotel itself has so much potential to be brilliant. The room was fairly modern and well presented. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The mini fridge was stocked with non alcoholic drinks and restocked as and when by the cleaner. Unfortunately we had a constant issue with the air conditioning in the room from it not working properly to the point it started leaking one day. Each time it was swiftly looked at and eventually resolved but frustrating and also trying to sleep in such hot temps was not great. The hotels pool and slides were great. The pool bar great. Lunch time the pool bar served snacks such as burgers, hot dogs and chicken fajita in rolls with chips. This was brilliant especially for the kids. Also the ice cream machine for kids all afternoon was good. Service throughout the bars was great with the waiters always keeping us refreshed with new drinks. The beach and sea was stunning and really picturesque. There was scope, or maybe used to be, for more services offered from the beach buildings such as diving or boat trips. I think this could be used or repurposed to add to great offerings and facilities. The a la carte restaurants were surprisingly good but the service was slow. Please put more staff in them and they will be 5/5. The evening entertainment was some of the best we have experienced in our many times to Egypt. Great acts each night. The only downside was the lateness of the entertainment and also the fact that it was set on the edge of the beach, perhaps due to season, and as such the seating was the sun loungers used in the day time. These made sitting uncomfortable especially on your back making it ache. Sort some seating and again 5/5. The only gripe of this hotel is the buffet restaurant. The food is ok. As averagely fussy adults there was something for us to have as a meal each night. Some nights better than others and one night was great and I wanted everything on offer. Shame a few dishes that night weren't spread throughout. The waiters are near non existent. They seem to work across the restaurant as a whole. As in other hotels they would benefit from being designated certain sections of tables to serve and clean. This would mean a much more efficient and more catered service meaning guests would be more inclined to tip these people. When you have a different person clear your table each night your less likely to tip. Also the food selection for the kids was poor. They struggled to find something on half of the nights. The hotel needs to replicate the day time lunch menu in the evenings perhaps adding fish or chicken nuggets each night and certainly chips every night. This would again make a 3 or 4 rating a 5 as it was quite a major frustration. The entertainment team did a fairly good job and we're always in good spirits. They asked if we wanted to partake in daily activities and left us fairly quickly if we said no without pestering. The music was slightly loud on a couple of days but otherwise fine, we asked if it could be lowered one day and it was straight away. In conclusion this hotel is good value for money so long as you know what to expect in Egypt, especially from a food stand point, whilst also not expecting luxury 4 or 5*. This hotel only needs a few tweaks to get a 5 out of 5 review and if my suggestions were implemented I would definitely book again in the future.

Everything is beautiful in the hotel in general, and I would like to thank Mr. Abdel Fattah in particular because he was the reason for providing all means of comfort and enjoyment in the place, really. Thanks to all the staff.
