The location is a strong advantage, with easy access to the Corniche, nearby offices, and shopping areas. Parking is available, though it can feel limited during busy periods, and peak-time elevators may require a short wait. Overall, Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche is a solid choice for travelers looking for comfort, good service, and a convenient city location without unnecessary extravagance.

The hotel is conveniently located near the city centre and the Corniche promenade, and it’s also close to the Cultural District and Al Maryah Island. The building itself is a bit dated but still retains some charm. Breakfast was excellent, and we stayed over New Year’s Eve—the food on the night was very good. Administrative service could be improved. Responses to my emails with questions about the restaurant were very slow, and some messages went unanswered. I also requested an iron that never arrived in the room, so I had to follow up and complain. The same applied during the New Year’s Eve dinner: while I understand it’s an extremely busy time of year and the staff may have been tired after a long day, the service felt inattentive. The rooms are well sized, and the bathroom shower has excellent water pressure. We stayed in a twin room, but the beds were quite small (around 1 metre wide). For a hotel in this category, I would have expected larger beds, although I’m not sure what the standard is in Abu Dhabi. The rooms are also poorly insulated. We could hear street noise on multiple occasions, including on New Year’s Eve, when a nearby party played loud music until around 3am and everything was clearly audible from the room. I used the gym, which is very good and well equipped with all the machines needed for a proper workout. Overall, it’s a solid option.

I had a great dining experience at this Thai restaurant Silk and Spice. The food was delicious, authentic, and full of flavor. Each dish was well-balanced with the perfect mix of spices, freshness, and aroma that Thai cuisine is known for. The overall atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was friendly and attentive, making the meal even more enjoyable. All staffs are good and fast service. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves Thai food or wants to try authentic Thai cuisine. I’ll surely come back again.

It is with great satisfaction that I am making this write up. I visited Abudhabi city with my family while on vacation in December and received the best treatment in SOFITEL HOTEL starting from the receptionist to the general staff and most especially the services of Mr Asongna. He is an amazing staff i must comment, his interactions and soft words really made us enjoyed our vacation while in SOFITEL HOTEL. He is the best bellboy Thank you very much for your wonderful services and your swiftness. Hoping to be back again.

My experience with Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche was limited only to a new year eve event 2025-2026. I would rate the experience 9/10. Food,drinks, buffet, Service, hygiene, staff, ... was excellent/exceptional. My only two observations: - we've been not informed prior to the event, that they changed the Venue from their Speciality Restaurant (ChillO) to the ADD (All Day Dining) restaurant. - with all respect to all people, but such event would be better with a dress Code. TBH some people attend with shorties and slippers...
