Really enjoyed my stay at SO Bangkok! My flight arrived super early in the morning, so I requested an early check-in. Unfortunately, my preferred room type wasn’t ready until around 12 PM, but the staff were very accommodating and invited us to relax in the executive lounge and enjoy breakfast while waiting. It was a nice touch and made the wait much more comfortable. We were also lucky to get upgraded to a Water Element room with a beautiful view of Lumpini Park. The room was unique and different from the usual hotel rooms, which made the stay feel even more special. The rooftop bar has an amazing view of the Bangkok skyline and is definitely worth visiting. The food was also consistently good throughout our stay. Overall, great service, beautiful views, and a very comfortable stay. The little touches from the team made a difference, and I would definitely consider staying here again when I’m back in Bangkok.

I recently stayed for 5 nights at SO/Bangkok and had a fantastic overall experience. The views from the room overlooking Lumphini Park and the city skyline were absolutely stunning — waking up to that every day was a highlight of the trip. The pool area is beautiful, with an amazing atmosphere and incredible views that make it hard to leave. Breakfast was also excellent, with a great variety and quality that set a perfect tone for the day. A special mention goes to the staff, especially at the Club Lounge. The service there was exceptional — warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They really went above and beyond to make the stay feel special and comfortable. That said, one area that could use improvement is the condition of the rooms. While still comfortable, there are noticeable signs of wear and tear that you wouldn’t quite expect from a 5-star hotel. With a bit more maintenance and upkeep, the experience could easily match the high standard set by the service and facilities. Overall, I would still highly recommend this hotel for its views, service, and amenities, and I would happily return.

I had a wonderful stay at SO Bangkok. The hotel was stylish, modern, and beautifully designed, but what made the experience truly special was the kindness of the staff. Everyone was incredibly warm and professional, and having Korean-speaking staff made me feel so comfortable and welcomed during my stay. Special thanks to Esther, Tom, and TK for their genuine hospitality and help. They made my trip even more memorable. I would definitely love to stay here again next time I visit Bangkok!

A Meaningful Family Staycation at SO/ Bangkok My wife and I chose SO/ Bangkok as a way to step away from our daily routine, relax, and celebrate 17 years of love together. Accompanied by our 2-year-old daughter, we were truly touched by the level of care, kindness, and attention we received throughout this short staycation. Thanks to the special rate we booked, we enjoyed a USD 100 hotel credit, which we decided to use at Red Oven on the 7th floor. Our server, Khun Bomb, was exceptional — attentive, thoughtful, and very knowledgeable. He guided us perfectly and even offered each of us a dessert so we could try their homemade ice cream, a gesture that made the evening even more special. Our room offered a stunning view over Lumphini Park and the Bangkok skyline. It was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing night. The staff throughout the hotel were outstanding — always smiling, polite, and genuinely caring. The pool remains shaded for most of the day, which makes it refreshing, and the view is absolutely worth it. The gym is also very impressive — spacious and offering the same beautiful panoramic views. The lobby, located on the 9th floor, brings everything together nicely: restaurants, café, rooftop bar, pool, gym, and even event spaces. Everything is thoughtfully designed to make the stay seamless and enjoyable. We especially loved the breakfast buffet — generous, high quality, and offering a wide variety of options. Thank you very much for having us. This was a wonderful stay and a beautiful memory for our family.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel, which is especially known for its outstanding location and breathtaking views over Lumpini Park. The view alone is truly exceptional and one of the highlights of the entire experience. The breakfast was absolutely outstanding - without a doubt the best I have ever had in any hotel. The variety, quality, and overall presentation were on a very high level and exceeded my expectations. The service was excellent and fully in line with a five-star standard. Staff were professional, attentive, and friendly throughout my stay. Cleanliness was generally good, although there were a few minor issues. For example, the scale in the room was not usable due to an empty battery. Additionally, the shower head in the bathtub had a defect - water was leaking from the handle or connector, causing it to spray in multiple directions and partially flood the bathroom. The biggest downside, in my opinion, was the gym area. For a hotel of this category, the fitness facilities were clearly lacking. There was no pull-up bar, no dip station, and the dumbbells only went up to 24 kg. Furthermore, there was no barbell set up like bench press only smith machine. At a minimum, a hotel of this standard should provide a basic free-weight area (more than 24kg) or even more equipment for bodyweight exercises such as pull-ups and dips. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay, mainly due to the location, view, breakfast, and service. However, there is definitely room for improvement, particularly in the gym area.
