5/5 – A Beautiful Stay at SALA Resort Mai Khao Our stay at SALA Resort Mai Khao was truly memorable. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful, offering the perfect mix of luxury, calmness, and nature. There’s also a small village nearby where you can do all your basic and essential shopping, which was very convenient during our stay. We also recommend exploring nearby experiences like Fantasy Island, Turtle Island, and enjoying the buffet and shows—they were definitely worth it! A special mention to the supervisor at the buffet area and the entire team working there. Every team member we encountered was extremely nice, friendly, and welcoming. No matter what time of day or night we walked in or out of the hotel, the reception staff always greeted us warmly, which truly made us feel looked after. Housekeeping was also excellent—the lady who cleaned our room was so kind and did a wonderful job every day. Overall, I highly recommend this place. It’s a beautiful resort with an equally beautiful team. Their customer service is exceptional, and they really know how to make guests feel special. We would definitely love to come back! 🌿✨

We stayed at Sala for 5 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. The staff was exceptionally attentive and friendly, the food was fantastic (breakfast was a particular highlight), and the whole property (spa, pool, communal areas, and villas) was beautifully designed. Since the resort is on the western side of the island, there are beautiful views of the sunset over the water every night. We especially enjoyed taking advantage of the daily activities organized by Man and Guy (yoga, bike rides, etc.) and loved stopping by the Sala farm to see the chickens, ducks and goats maintained by the resort. We would recommend Sala to anyone visiting Phuket and plan to return again ourselves!

Our second time at Sala and our home away from home, stayed here for two weeks!!! Everything is extraordinary here- the vibe, the service, breakfast, dinner, the beach and the isolation. Gluten free choices at breakfast (they had gluten free bread) and dinner (various options to choose from). Yes, it’s far from center Phuket, but we loved staying in here and just enjoy the nature and the sound of waves. Spa is 10/10- went a few times. There is a lake next to the resort, it’s nice to have a walk and watch the giant lizards. We stayed at the master villa- no words to describe the cleanliness, the small details and the continuous care of Thong. Also big thanks to chef Tony, all the wonderful waitresses, the pool bar worker always with a smile, spa receptionists and massage ladies. We will definitely will come back in the future!

The property is remarkably good. Exquisite design, privileged location with direct access to the beach. The resort takes good care of yourself with daily activities, a warm staff, special touches in the villas to make your stay even better. The restaurant deserves a positive remark too: good variety, amazing breakfast with local and international options. The villas are great. The outdoors restrooms concept goes very well with the location. It didn’t bother our family? To the contrary, I enjoyed multiple baths gazing the Thai sky. I feel like coming back to this hotel often. I’m a world traveler, architect with high standards when it comes to places I stay, and this resort went right to my top 5. Ps: the hotel is located approximately 50 minutes ride to Phuket old town. Bear in mind when choosing your location.

I particularly enjoyed the hospitality of the staff, especially Tong, who deserves special mention. The overall design of the resort, the small details, and the genuine care to ensure that every guest feels truly comfortable are noticeable everywhere. Everything is just perfect, right down to the music selection at the beach bar. Every request or small wish was fulfilled and implemented without any problem. Tong took wonderful care of us, but the other staff members were also always extremely friendly and attentive. It’s hard to describe the feeling, but overall it is a sense of genuine hospitality in a beautiful design environment. We look forward to returning and booking another stay next year. Many heartfelt thanks!
