My wife and I recently stayed at the Moxy for three nights, and we had a great experience. At first glance, the room seemed a bit small, but we adapted quickly, and it turned out to be very cozy. We were really able to rest and recharge. The rooftop is an absolute highlight. The customer service was also excellent. The two guys who stored our luggage treated us incredibly well, and the front desk staff was just as accommodating. One evening, we were heading to a show at Madison Square Garden and it was raining. The front desk kindly offered us umbrellas, which was such a thoughtful gesture that literally saved our night! Overall, it is a vibrant and welcoming place, and we would gladly return.

I had a wonderful two-night stay at Moxy and couldn't be happier with my experience! From the moment I arrived, everything was smooth and hassle-free. A huge shoutout to Craig, who truly went above and beyond. He was incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely cared about making sure I had a great stay. He helped me check in early, took care of all the details so I didn't have to worry about a thing, and even gave me a food voucher for the Moxy restaurant to use later. The hotel itself is in a fantastic, convenient location, and every staff member I interacted with was friendly and welcoming. If you're staying at Moxy, you're in great hands. I'll definitely be back. Thank you, Craig, for making my stay so memorable!

During my stay at Moxy Times Square, I experienced a thoughtfully curated guest journey that balanced efficiency, personality, and genuine care. From check-in onward, the team demonstrated strong service fundamentals paired with human warmth, an intersection that matters deeply in modern hospitality. I’d like to personally acknowledge Jimmi and Imani for their professionalism and welcoming presence, as well as Marco and Ossy for their attentiveness throughout my stay. A special mention to JP in Security, whose calm, consistent approach reinforced a strong sense of safety and trust. While Jason adhered closely to protocol, which I respect, especially as he is new, the overall service ecosystem still felt adaptive and guest-centered. I appreciate his attentiveness and commitment to doing the job right, and I’d also like to extend thanks to Jorge, Head of Security. Coming from a large convention hotel environment myself, I’m especially attuned to operational flow and interdepartmental coordination. I appreciated the seamless phone communication with Housekeeping and the team’s responsiveness, specifically Edmond, whose friendly demeanor and positive presence as a runner reflected strong service instincts. These interactions were clear indicators of effective internal systems and guest recovery readiness. The front-facing experience felt intentional, and the small touches (including treats and thoughtful moments of engagement) contributed to a sense of personalization without intrusion. Overall, this stay reinforced why I’m proud to be part of the Marriott family. Moxy offered a distinctive yet reliable experience, playful in brand, disciplined in execution. I’m grateful for the name-level recognition during my stay, and I’m always happy to elaborate further if feedback is helpful. Personal thank you again to Jimmi!

I checked into this Hotel on a Sunday evening on crutches and advised the front desk that I had a broken knee with very limited mobility. On Monday at 11 am I called the front desk to let them know I would be vacating the room to have lunch in the hotel restaurant but expected to stay in the room for the rest of the day. I requested housekeeping and was told no problem. I returned to my hotel room at 1:30 pm to find it just as I had left it. I phoned the front desk 3 times before reaching someone to again request housekeeping. I was told housekeeping would be right up. As of 2:45 pm no housekeeping has arrived. I tried phoning the hotel manager. No answer. It has now been nearly 4 hours since I requested housekeeping simply to get fresh towels How can this hotel call itself a four star hotel. It may have a stylish restaurant and rooftop bar but it's service is abysmal. Also the the room is tiny, no coffee service in the room, no refrigerator, no microwave, a window that you cant get to bc it is blocked by the bed which takes up over half the room and once you do crawl to it, has no view from the 15th floor. For a similar price and neighborhood, stay in the Radio City Apartment Hotel or the Martinique Hotel. Or for a charming neighborhood, try the Hotel Mulberry in the Little Italy/Chinatown neighborhood. Skip this hotel and just go the rooftop bar for the view of the Empire State Building.

Stayed here with my wife and daughter for a family holiday in the double room. The check in experience wasn't great if I'm being honest. Confirmed my room and was then told I needed to pay another $360 even though hotel was pre paid. I asked why it was so high ( I knew there was a room tax) but they wanted $200 for room security, which was a bit of a surprise, even if you get it back and its a hold, after getting off an 8hr flight that was delayed for 2hrs it wasn't the best welcome to a hotel. Small thing after that, but wasnt explained about the lift system and fact you had to pick floor from screen before entering lift. There was also no real overview on the hotel either, mentioned the credit but I knew that part anyway. Room was tight but was aware it was small, was clean and comfortable and location was great. The grab and go food in the morning was handy as was the $20 credit to use in cafe or bar. The cart with treats was a big hit with my daughter and the free waters and sodas were a nice little bonus too when you get back from a day of exploring. Checkout was a much better experience, was offered longer check out, plus we were able to store bags until our transfer got us, so had another half day of sightseeing we could do. The guys in reception asked us did we need a taxi or transfer when they saw us with the bags, so the attention on customers was much better today and probably less hectic than when we arrived on Saturday evening. Overall, great hotel for the price and location is fantastic, easy to walk and go to subways. Would recommend.
