My stay at Mövenpick Asara Resort & Spa Hua Hin was one of the best hotel experiences I had during my trip to Thailand. From the very first moment, the elegance and relaxing atmosphere stand out — tropical gardens, traditional Thai aesthetics, and direct access to a sandy beach create a true oasis of calm. The hotel is located right on the beachfront, away from the noise of the city, which provides a great sense of privacy and tranquility. At the same time, it is close enough to the center of Hua Hin to easily go for an evening walk or shopping. The rooms are spacious, tastefully designed, and very clean — perfect for relaxing after a sunny day. Comfortable beds, air conditioning, and tropical views from the windows made returning “home” each day a real pleasure. The resort features beautifully maintained swimming pools, including a large main pool with a sea view as well as quieter areas ideal for relaxation. The beach is accessible during low tide and calm sea conditions. The hotel restaurant serves delicious Thai and international cuisine. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options, and dinners with an ocean view were truly enjoyable. The staff are polite, attentive, and always willing to make guests feel comfortable and well cared for. The fitness center, spa, and lush tropical gardens add to the resort’s luxurious character. A big plus are the poolside activities and the friendly, relaxing atmosphere throughout the property. It is an ideal place both for a romantic getaway and for a family vacation — the hotel combines high-quality service, comfort, and a unique location. I highly recommend Mövenpick Asara Resort & Spa Hua Hin to anyone looking for relaxation in a luxurious tropical setting.

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Movenpick. From check in onwards the team were nothing short of fantastic. The accomodation is so well maintained and you can tell the staff really work hard in its presentation. Whilst it’s about a 10 minute drive from the main part of town, the hotel offer a free shuttle bus multiple times a day, easily booked via reception. We stayed in a private pool villa that was spacious and private. Note though, the pool isn’t heated and quite cool during cooler months. The meals at both restaurants were fantastic with a variety of local and western options. Special mention to Arm for always starting our day with a friendly smile. Cocktails were also delicious, thanks to Sky who always served us with a smile. The service from Joey and his team is a real credit to them. We really appreciated their kindness and hospitality. Our only regret was that we didn’t stay longer.

We had a generally pleasant stay at Mövenpick Asara Resort & Spa Hua Hin and there were several things we truly appreciated. The resort is calm, private, and relaxing. The villas are spacious and comfortable, and the atmosphere is peaceful and suitable for families. The staff deserve a special thank you — they were extremely friendly, welcoming, and always smiling. Any time we needed assistance, someone arrived to our villa within 5 minutes, which was truly impressive. Also, we really appreciated that the bathrooms are equipped with hose options suitable for Arab guests. The in-room bathtub was also large and comfortable, which added to the relaxing experience. However, there are some areas that need improvement considering the resort’s premium level. Although the villa had three televisions, there were no Arabic channels and no ability to connect to YouTube, Netflix, or other streaming services — something that is expected nowadays in 2025. The breakfast was also limited and repetitive, and unfortunately there were no clear halal food options available, which would be very important for Muslim guests. Another challenge we faced was mosquitoes inside the villa. Although the hotel provided spray, it was not enough to fully manage the issue and it did affect our sleep, especially for the kids. Since the resort is nature-based, better preventive measures would really help guests feel more comfortable. Overall, we enjoyed the calm atmosphere, the privacy, the friendliness of the staff, the quick service, and some thoughtful facilities. With improvements in technology, breakfast variety, halal options, and stronger pest control, this resort has the potential to offer an excellent experience.

An absolutely wonderful stay at Mövenpick Asara Resort & Spa Hua Hin. The resort is peaceful, beautifully designed, and surrounded by nature. The staff were very friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We also enjoyed dining at Baan Dum Restaurant, where the atmosphere was elegant and the food was delicious. The pool and beachfront atmosphere were perfect for relaxation. Highly recommended, and I would love to come back again.

Overall we had a good experience at the hotel. They don't have a " real" beach but the view is still really nice, and it's easy to get a taxi and visit other beaches in Hua Hin. The food was nice too, and the breakfast has a lot of options for a resort that is not that big. The kids enjoyed the chocolate hour. The Christmas eve buffet and seafood bbq night were nice too. The staff was kind and helpful. The negative things: - our mattress was really hard, the staff put a bumpy mattress topper on the 2nd night and it was even worse. Finally management found a solution. They even offered a spa voucher as compensation which was really appreciated as our body ached because of 2 bad nights. - We booked a villa with private pool but that pool was useless. The water was too cold and full of leaves because its surrounded by trees. - There is no staff to manage the beach and pool area. If you come there after breakfast all the sunbeds will be reserved with towels by customers who drop them early morning. This is not what you expect from a 5 stars resort. We' ve been to many 5 stars hotels and they never allowed this kind of behaviour. At some point we took a sunbed and remove a towel because there was nobody for a long time then a guy came complaining that it is his spot. No staff to handle the situation. A lot of people ended up not being able to find a sit by the pool or the beach because of that. This is still a nice hotel if you're looking for a kids and dogs friendly resort. And booking a villa gives some privacy which we appreciated as well.
