When I decided to visit Bangkok, I chose the Mandarin Oriental without a second thought, drawn by its rich history and consistently excellent service. Once I got hooked to the Mandarin Oriental, I always choose it whenever I travel to another country. To celebrate its 150th anniversary, the hotel was adorned with beautifully curated details and displays highlighting its history. The service was flawless as always, and I had a wonderful time during my stay. The little gestures and gifts I received throughout my stay made me happy. I tried a different restaurant every day I was there(Terrace rim Naam, the Verandah, Sala Rim Naam) and each one was incredibly delicious. Enjoying Thai cuisine while watching the traditional performance at Sala Rim Naam was a wonderful experience. I’ll be happy to choose the Mandarin Oriental again on my next visit to Bangkok.

I spent the weekend here and honestly the service alone makes it worth it. Staff are attentive without being overbearing and the answer is always yes so you never feel like you’re asking for too much. The highlight for me was that I mentioned offhand that I was rushing for dinner after checking in and needed to iron my shirts. Didn’t think much of it. Came back to the room and the ironing board was already setup. It was just done. Hotel itself is beautiful and well kept. No complaints there. I’ll definitely come back and stay here again. Happy 150th!

The hotel is on the river which makes acess easy to many things along the river. The staff is over the top polite and helpful (It is Thailand after all). The rooms are very nice, the AC super cold. The staff picks-up tour room to the point of rolling up your phone charging-cords for you when your out. The breakfast buffet is amazing and you get to eat right on the river front.
